4 Chapter 4: The first and second spirit ring and the Departure

Ragnar ignored this and said, "she's all yours Brother san" while walking towards his bed. while he walked to his bed the fight between Tang San and Xiao Wu had already started. when Ragnar turned his head he could see that Wu used her legs and most surprisingly her long hair a lot more than her hands. However, Tang San wasn't on the losing side either as he was using mysterious martial arts, while Tang San quickly ran behind her he had grabbed her hair to prevent her from using it any further however as he was going to grab her hand to stop her attacks and immobilise her he, he was met with her right leg to his stomach.
They were both tied in their martial arts as they both had great mastery over the arts they used. Both of them were separated when Xiao Wu did a back kickflip to get out of Tang Sans Hold.
As the others in the dorm room looked in awe at the pair who had just finished their match they heard the entrance door open along with a voice that said "who are the three new work students in this dorm room", Ragnar, along with Tang San and Xiao Wu raised their hands.
When the man saw this he went towards them and said: "These here are beddings and blankets for your beds". When They received their beddings they realised there were only two there. "This one's mine", As they heard Ragnar say that and walk away with his bedding he smiled at Tang san and said "Brother San you should share that bedding with Xiao Wu over there.
Tang San heard this and blushed while looking at Xiao Wu, who in turn tilted her head to the side cutely in confusion.
"Okay, we'll share the bedding", said Xiao Wu while she ran over to her Bed which was right next to Tang San's, she connected her bed with Tang San's by pushing them together. After that, they all talked with each other and familiarised themselves with each other in the dorm. Hours passed while night fell. while everyone was asleep, Tang San and Xiao Wu were sleeping next to each other as their beds were connected to each other from earlier.
While everyone was asleep there was a certain individual who was wide awake, this person was none other than Ragnar who was sat on his bed.
*swoosh* He disappeared from his bed and appeared on top of the roof of the Academy. "This world really is interesting", said Ragnar as he stared into the distant night sky.
"I will reach the apex of this world, by my title as the GodKing I swear that", said Ragnar with such Determination. 'I should first quickly learn everything the grandmaster has everything to offer' thought Ragnar.
He continued to stay in his thoughts 'I should also go get my first and second Spirit ring along with Tang San so we can breakthrough. 'Having sealed so much of my power, it can only be unsealed as I get stronger and stronger, this means I need to cultivate faster and faster after obtaining my first and second spirit ring, currently speaking I only have access to about 2% of my original power, which should be able to create spirit rings', Thought Ragnar as he continued on thinking
'It's best that I create my spirit ring's when I and Tang San go to obtain spirit rings, later on, this would be the best option to avoid suspicion from anyone'.
Ragnar quickly disappeared from the roof of the Academy and reappeared next to his bed without making a single noise and went to bed like a mortal.
The night quickly passed and morning came, Ragnar had woken early at 6 in order to complete his daily training. After he returned from using the showers that the working students used. After coming back to the dorm room he could see that Tang San had been cuddled by Xiao Wu.
'well this is amusing, I had seen this when leaving to complete my daily training', thought Ragnar as he walked to his bed and put away his towel and old clothes in the laundry basket.
He then heard the sound of someone falling off the bed and along with a scream which said "Pervert", While Tang San was rubbing the back of his head which he hit on the floor when he fell over. "I did nothing, It was you who hugged me while sleeping".
Ragnar was looking at this whole ordeal with a smile on his face and thought 'I have a feeling those two will have one hell of an adventure together in the future', he then walked to both of them and said "Hurry up and get ready both of you, we have class in 30 minutes".
When both of them heard that they both quickly freshened up and got ready for our first class. Their first-class was a theory class that explained the difference between spirit and essence. However, throughout this whole class, Ragnar was dosing off as with his passive 'godly mastery' ability he was able to quickly understand its essence.
'I should put it to use later, I wonder how powerful the 'Heavenly god gauntlets will become when infused with essence'. as Ragnar was thinking this he heard the teacher say "Alright, that's enough for today. since it's lunch all you go to the cafeteria".
Ragnar, Tang San and Xiao Wu were walking to get their food along with some of their dorm mates. They heard a voice say "well, aren't these poor students who have scholarships, well then today's foods on me", he said and continued on with "Which are leftovers of course, well happy?".
This actually causes Ragnar's eyebrow to twitch, but quickly goes back to normal as he hears Xiao Wu shout "wanna die" towards the boy who said it.
As Xiao Wu goes to attack the boy quickly uses his spirit, "Shield Spirit, defence" said the boy. as he stops Xiao Wu's attack from hitting him. One of his companion used their marital spirit to attack Xiao Wu but was countered by Tang san. Xiao Wu took this chance and slapped the boy while saying "I dare you to say that again".
Tang San dorm mates were about to attack the others that were with blonde that they beat up until they heard a voice behind them shout "That's enough".
This person was Yu Xiaogang or better known as the grandmaster. "No personal fights within the campus," he said while walking to Tang Sans and Ragnar's position. "you too meet me after lunch", said the grandmaster.
"yes teacher," said both Ragnar and Tang San
After Lunch both Tang San and Ragnar went to the grandmaster's room. when they reached outside his office Ragnar knocked on his door. "come in", spoke the grandmaster. As both the boys went into the room they could see that their teacher was sat behind a desk waiting for both of them.
"we greet teacher," said both of them to the grandmaster. As then the grandmaster got up from his place and looked at Tang San and asked "so little San what is your second martial soul?", the room fell quiet as Tang San was hesitant to say. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me yet," said the grandmaster. "No teacher, I will tell you what my second spirit is", spoke Tang San.
As Tang San lifted his left hand there were tiny sparks of electricity until a small hammer formed in his left hand. "T-T-That's the hammer of Wu", spoke the grandmaster in shock and immediately continued with "surnames Tang, Tang" then his eyes widened at the realisation.
"Little San you must never show your second to spirit outside of people you don't trust, and make sure not to use it to train it, Okay?", said the grandmaster in a serious tone.
"Yes, teacher Tang San understands", Spoke Tang San in a serious voice also.
"So Teach, is the only reason you told us to came here for", spoke Ragnar. 'I need to get out of here quickly to get stronger much more faster', he thought while waiting for an answer.
"Ahh actually, I wanted to tell you that at the beginning of the third week we will go to spirit forest nearby to go and get your spirit rings", said the grandmaster.
He continued his statement with "but first, for the following two weeks after class I will teach about spirit beast and much more after your classes are done, so make sure to come to my office every day after class".

It was mid-day, nearing the end of the second week, *sigh, both boys have excellent comprehension ability, but Ragnar. I'm afraid Tang San won't be able to match him. "what is is teac--" before he could finish he was cut off by the grandmaster who said "there is no need to call this old man master anymore", this shocked Tang San greatly as he was wondering why he would say that.
"The reason for this is because you have learnt everything from me already and I would only be holding back your growth, so as of today I am longer your master" the words were spoken with sadness, both Ragnar and Tang San were able to pick that up.
"I see, thank you for everything up till now grandmaster, if there is anything you ever need help with please do ask Tang San to inform me", Ragnar spoke softly.
"Though it is regretfully letting such an outstanding student as yourself go, It needs to be done, for I would limit your growth" spoke the grandmaster. "anyways enough of this, make sure both of you are ready for tomorrow", He continued.
"Yes, teacher", "Yes grandmaster" spoke Tang San and Ragnar at the same time.
while both the boys were walking outside Yu Xiaogang sat down on his chair and thought 'It truly is regretful but Tang San is also another monstrous talent, though he isn't near the level of Ragnar, he is still a monster compared to others'
It was now closing in at night time, "Xiao Wu, tomorrow me and Ragnar won't be on campus", spoke Tang San to Xiao Wu who looked sad.
"Don't worry we will be back in no time" he continued.
"Yeah, don't worry little rabbit" spoke Ragnar who looked at Xiao Wu. Xiao Wu looked at Ragnar in shock. But the only response she got was a smile.
'Does he know, Does he know, Does he know, HE KNOWS, then what about Tang San', she thought. She looked at Tang San who seemed clueless about what was going on.
"Ragnar, can I talk to you please" spoke Xiao Wu who looked extremely sad.
"Sure" was the reply she got back from him.
Both Xiao Wu and Ragnar were now outside the building and sat on a bench. "H-How L-Long have you known", said Xiao Wu quietly.
"Since the day you entered the dorm room that day", spoke Ragnar while staring into the night sky.
"I see, then what do you think, about me being a transformed spirit beast", Xiao Wu spoke sadly.
"I could honestly careless, about you being a transformed spirit beast," said Ragnar while smiling. and continued while laughing at the end "And don't worry your secret safe with me sister in law".
This caused Xiao Wu to blush heavily and shout "who's your sister in law". while trying to punch Ragnar, but he kept on dodging and dodging.
After that little ordeal they went back to the dorm rooms, "Hey Brother San, please take care of your wife from now on" said Ragnar while laughing. This caused both Xiao Wu and Tang San to blush heavily. While Ragnar was enjoying the time teasing both of them.
It was now the morning of the day that Ragnar and Tang San were going to get their spirit Rings. "Come, Brother San, The grandmaster must be waiting" spoke Ragnar who had his sword seated to the left side of his waist.
"yes, yes I am coming" spoke Tang San who was also wearing something around his waist which was an essential tool. which was used as a storage device.
"Looks there's the teacher", spoke Tang San to Ragnar.
They both ran to the Yu Xiaogang who was waiting for them at the entrance of the academy with a carriage. "sorry to keep you waiting teacher", spoke Tang San. "Hello, grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, nice to see you".
"likewise Ragnar, It's always good to see you. and not a problem Tang San I only just reached here as well", said the grandmaster.
There were a few things both Tang San and Ragnar ha learnt about the grandmaster or Yu Xiaogang, firstly he was someone from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, but unfortunately, he was banished from the clan due to his mutated spirit and could never surpass rank 30.
While they were riding the carriage, Tang San asked the grandmaster "Teacher what type of spirit ring do you think is the most suitable for me to get", "The best choice would be a Romati snake, with your blue silver grass, after absorbing the ring your spirit might also take on the characteristics meaning it will also have the poison properties of the snake which would be a huge advantage to your spirit", spoke the grandmaster with a lot of confidence.

The sound of the twig breaking awoke the sleeping beast, then they heard the grandmaster speak "Second Evolution 422-year-old monster, The poison sword, Romanti snake", as he continued with "Little San this one is perfect for your first spirit ring.
"If that's the case then leave the fighting to me" spoke Ragnar.
"Huh, little Ragnar don't be stu-" but before grandmaster could finish, Tang San spoke and said, "Don't worry teacher when it comes to fighting I believe no one within his rank and a few ranks above can even hope to match him".
*sigh* "Okay, be careful, not to get hurt Little Ragnar", said the grandmaster
"Of course Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, and as if this stupid snake can even hurt me," said Ragnar confidently.
Ragnar spoke and said "come marital soul, Heavenly God Gauntlets", as the gauntlets appeared on Ragnar, there was a pressure that made both Tang San and The grandmaster take a few steps back unconsciously.
Ragnar had learnt to control this pressure when summoning his gauntlets, the pressure he was releasing right now was only on a small scale otherwise he would have injured both Tang San and Yu Xiaogang.
While the gauntlets were fully formed he unsheathed his sword as well, which surprised Tang San. "Brother Ragnar learnt how to use his spirit soul alongside his Sword", he spoke surprised.
The grandmaster only stood in surprise as he was watching Ragnar. 'I made a good choice to let him free and go, otherwise, I'm afraid, while me being his master he wouldn't even get the chance to spread his wings even a little bit', he thought.
Ragnar had quick disappeared from his place within and reappeared next to the snake. This speed only surprised Tang San and Yu Xiaogang even more and they couldn't keep up.
'Even with my purple demon eye's I can barely keep up with brother Ragnars speed' though Tang san.
Ragnar quickly swung his blade horizontally to take out the beast in one swing, however, the beast was just as agile even with it being huge. The beast quickly moved out the way and swung its tail towards Ragnar who was smiling as he had already anticipated that.
Ragnar then spoke the words "Sword God: First stance, Blinding cleave", his blade was then shining very brightly and in one fell swoop he cut off the beasts tail.
This completely again surprised both Tang San and Yu Xiaogang as they both had the same thought which was 'what monstrous sword technique was that', then grandmaster was lost in this thoughts as he was wondering 'Ragnar's sword technique rivals the Sword Doulou's, no it surpasses it'.
As the beast fell onto the ground after been dealt by Ragnar in one sword move "Tang San hurry use the knife give by grandmaster and stab it onto the head of the snake and absorb the spirit ring".
As Tang San did what Ragnar told him to do soon a yellow spirit ring was formed on top of the snakes head, "This a 422-year-old spirit ring, Quickly absorb it Tang San", Spoke the Grandmaster.
As Tang San sat down crossed legged onto the ground and started to meditate, soon the yellow halo was connected to Tang San. As the merging process began, Ragnar walked up to the grandmaster and said "Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, while you look after Tang San I'll go and get my first and second spirit ring".
"what you can't be serio--" midway his sentence he stopped and looked at Ragnar and then Towards the dead Romanti Snake and then spoke again, *sigh*, "Okay, but ensure your safety first".
"Of course grandmaster Yu Xiaogang". As soon Ragnar ran into the forest and looked for a place where no one could find him.
He soon stumbled across a cave that seemed to be desolate and can be hardly seen as it was behind a waterfall.
Ragnar got down and sat cross-legged and started to meditate and concentrate on his GK aura. With absolute control of his aura, he was able to create his first spirit ring with defence attributes. "now what age shall I make them, The eldest I can make them with divine assistance is around 10,000 right now, as I reach higher and higher I will be able to Age them even more once I reach Rank 100 I should be able to make all nine of my spirit rings 1,000,000 years old".
"The best choice right now is to make both my spirit rings 10,000, and then disguise them both to look like 1,000 years old," said Ragnar.
soon his first spirit ring was fully constructed, as he started to absorb it. The process lasted around three hours to fully absorb the first spirit ring.
"Now to make my second spirit ring, which is an attack attributed spirit ring", as he formed his second spirit again which was also a 10,000-year-old one. After the process was finished he quickly started to absorb it, which again lasted for three hours. A total of six hours had passed, As Ragnar Fully absorbed his second spirit ring he had a breakthrough and went straight to Rank 29.
He activated both his spirit ring and when they came into view behind him they were black in colour, Ragnar then used his GK aura to disguise both the rings into purple spirit rings of 1,000 years old each.
After completing the process of disguising his spirit rings which didn't take long, he made his way back to both Tang San and the grandmaster using his divine sense. As he reached Tang San and the grandmaster he saw that Tang San was still absorbing his spirit ring.
"Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, I am back", Ragnar said.
This alerted the grandmaster and he looked towards Ragnar and smiled and spoke: "you seem stronger than before what spirit rank are you now".
Ragnar simply smiled and said, "grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, I am now Rank 29" while letting his two disguised rings out.
"T-T-Two 1,000 year spirit rings, hows that possible", spoke the grandmaster.
"Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, your theory states that the stronger one's physical body the higher the spirit ring they can absorb, I've been training my physical body for a long time now", spoke Ragnar as he pulled back the spirit ring into his body.
"I-I-I S-See", said Grandmaster in shock. He then regained his composure and said "well I made the right choice to let you go" while smiling at Ragnar.
"Hehe", I guess so," said Ragnar. Then changed the subject by turning "His almost done, I sense he about fully integrate with his spirit rings".
As Tang San opened his eyes he saw both Ragnar and his teacher looking at him, "congratulation on fully absorbing and integrating with your first spirit ring", said Ragnar with a smile on his face.
"Thank you, Brother Ragnar," said Tang San.
"Brother Ragnar, teacher. After fully absorbing the spirit ring I had a breakthrough to straight Rank 13".
Tang San then suddenly turned to his teacher and said
"Teacher let's go look for Brother Ragnar's spirit rings now", he said.
"That won't be necessary", said the grandmaster. As Tang San looked confused the grandmaster once again spoke and said "why don't look carefully at Little Ragnar's spirit Rank now".
As Tang san tried to feel the spirit rank of Ragnar he was overwhelmed with surprise as he couldn't feel it. "Brother Ragnar, what's your spirit rank, why can't I see It?" Tang San spoke in a shocked manner while staring at Ragnar.
Ragnar let out a soft chuckle and released his spirit rings and said "well, brother San I am now rank 29 after absorbing both my spirit rings". This revelation shocked Tang San as he stared shocked at the two purple spirit rings behind Ragnar and Muttered "T-Two 1,000 Y-Year old spirit rings".
"Now lets get going back to the academy", said Ragnar
Tang san simply nodded, while still staring at Ragnar 'I must get stronger and catch up with Brother Ragnar' he thought while walking towards Ragnar and the grandmaster.
"Yes, let us get going, we should be back at the academy by the time night falls", said grandmaster Yu Xiaogang.
After a few hours, they got back to the academy, "Okay, I'll be going back to my office, both of you return to your dorms", spoke the grandmaster.
Both Ragnar and Tang San Simply nodded and went to their dorm, when they reach the dorm room and open the door they were met by the room staring at them, "where did the both of you disappear off to without telling me" shouted a particular girl who loved carrots, it was none other than Xiao Wu.
Tang san said "I and brother Ragnar went to go get our spirit ring with my master", Ragnar simply nodded at Tang Sans statement.
Everyone in the room was surprised how old were they, they had already gotten their first spirit rings. However, the room was put into complete silence when Tang San said "we went for my first spirit ring but also we went for Brother Ragnar first and second spirit ring"
This completely engulfed the room with everyone's gasp of surprise, as they looked at Ragnar and had one thought, 'A six-year-old who's ready at the spirit grandmaster rank'.
little did they know that Ragnar still possessed enough essence to reach and breakthrough rank 30 and become a spirit Expert.
During the night while everyone was asleep Ragnar was at the top of the roof circulating his spirit essence, while doing so he reached rank 30.
'with this, I can graduate from this academy and go on a journey and become even stronger' thought Ragnar. "tomorrow I will go to grandmaster and apply for the graduation exam", spoke Ragnar as he disappeared from the roof to his bed in the dorm room.
The next morning came, Ragnar was already awake and sat on his bed. He then saw Tang San and Xiao Wu wake up and he walked toward them.
As he reached them he stopped in front of Tang San's and Xiao Wu's bed and said to them "I will be taking the graduation exam brother San and little Rabit", this greatly shocked both of them as they simultaneously said "you've reached rank 30"
Ragnar simply nodded and said "Today I will take the exam and go on a journey", he continued and said, "Tang San come with me to Grandmaster".
Tang San and Xiao Wu quickly got ready and walked with Ragnar to the grandmaster's office. The whole journey to his office was in complete silence. It was because Ragnar was graduating although they should be happy for him, which they were but they were also sad as this meant that they wouldn't see him for a long time.
As they knocked on the grandmaster's door as soon after they heard the grandmasters voice which says "come in".
The trio walked into the room, Xiao Wu was already acquainted with the Grandmaster as she would follow Tang San after classes to his extra lessons with the grandmaster.
The grandmaster sensed the sadness in the air and frowned slightly as he knew what Ragnar was going to say. "You've come to take to graduation exam haven't you", said grandmaster.
"Yes, I have grandmaster Yu Xiaogang", while nodding at him.
"I see, well unleash your spirit rings", said the Grandmaster looking at Ragnar.
Ragnar nodded and unleashed his two purple spirit rings, both at the peak of 1,000 years old.
"I can sense that you are already at the peak of Rank 30 and just need your third spirit ring to breakthrough", spoke the grandmaster with a calm and collected tone.
"Well, either way, congratulation on graduating from Nuoding Academy Little Ragnar", Yu Xiaogang continued and said, "So what do you have planned now that you've graduated from the academy?".
"Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, I plan on going on a journey and try to advance even further than I am now", spoke Ragnar calmly.
Grandmaster then looked at the Tang San and Xiao Wu and then Back to Ragnar and said "In Five Years, an old friend of mine who runs an academy will be enrolling for students, but they only accept monsters, I want the three of you to attend that academy in Five years".
"grandmaster Yu Xiaogang, what's the academy called?" asked Ragnar Curiously.
"The academy is called Shrek Academy", replied the grandmaster.
"In Five years huh, well It does give me enough time to explore and go on a journey", he then turned to Tang San and Xiao Wu and asked, "Will you both go to Shrek academy as well?".
After a few seconds, both of them replied together with "yes, yes we are".
"Excellent, then will well be able to meet up there", said Ragnar with a smile. This bought a smile on the face of Yu Xiaogang, Tang San and Xiao Wu.
"First, collect all your belongings in this and meet us at the entrance of the academy", said Yu Xiaogang while handing him a ring, "Thing ring is an essential tool with a space of 20 square meters".
Ragnar when back to his dorm and got ready, he put all his belonging which were mainly clothes into the ring and he kept his sword on the left-hand side of his waist.
After collecting everything he left for the entrance of the academy, reaching the entrance he was met with Tang San, Xiao Wu and Yu Xiaogang waiting for him.
"well, this is goodbye for now and until we meet again in five years at the academy", said Ragnor to the trio.
"brother Ragnar, Take care of yourself", said Tang San while handing him some small needle-like weapons. "These are some hidden weapons I made, use them when needed", he added.
Gaining a nod from Ragnar, Tang San moved back to his sport while Xiao Wu moved forwards and said "please Take care, and make sure you came to Shrek academy in five years, otherwise I will be angry", Ragnar simply chuckled and said, "Don't worry sis-in-law I won't forget". Xiao Wu sent a straight hook but Ragnar dodge it swiftly without problems. "Stupid, Who's your sis-in-law", while blushing heavily alongside Tang San.
'hehe, they are too easy to tease' thought Ragnar.
Then grandmaster Yu Xiaogang stepped forward and said "I am glad that I let you go, now you can freely fly with your wings spread out freely", he continued "Though It does pain me to say it, I simply can't be the master of someone who has already surpassed me not only in terms of knowledge but also in spirit Rank".
"All though I am extremely grateful because I was also able to learn so much more and with your help, I was able to refine my knowledge to another level, so thank you for that", said Yu Xiaogang.
After a few silent seconds, Ragnar spoke and said, "All though It was short I enjoyed my time here at the academy, Brother San, Little rabbit I'll see you guys in five years".
After the farewells, Ragnar walked out of the academy while only taking one single glance back.
'Well, this is where the true journey towards the top beginnings, I have five years to get stronger and meet both of them at Shrek Academy, by then I should also have enough power to fix grandmaster Yu Xiaogang problem', though Ragnar.
