2 Fallen Scion

Huo Yuhao walked through the edges of the forest with a calm demeanor, one that spoke of vast experience and familiarity with nature. This contrasted with his rather juvenile face, creating a sense of dissonance at anyone who looked at him.

Looking at his thin and youthful palm with a complicated gaze, Yuhao sighed in a way that only an old man would, like he was tired of the rest of the world.

"The hand grasps the sun and moon, and also plucks the stars; This world has no one like me. I didn't think that this old man would have a trace of a remnant spirit left that still existed here."

He didn't expect that one of his spiritual remnants would survive, much less find itself in a different dimension. From the skies he had descended, in the form of a grey stream of air, merging into the body of a malnourished boy.

Who was he? Was he Electrolux, the Holy Necromancer, a former Scion of Light and the Slumbering Calamity? Or was he Huo Yuhao, the son of Huo Yun Er and Dai Hao, the White Tiger Duke?

To Electrolux, this problem wasn't much of a problem, as he had taken on many names throughout his long years of life. His real name, Yi Lai Ki Si, had been forgotten in history, and only the Necromancer Electrolux remained.

In the end, he had directly taken on the identity of Huo Yuhao and combined it with his own to form another identity, a new one with the memories of both of their souls.

Brushing the dirt of his shoulder, Yuhao changed into a clean set of clothes, and then proceeded to wash his dirty clothes in the stream, before hanging them on a nearby tree branch. Even these simple laborious tasks seemed enjoyable to him.

He had never felt so alive before, but then again, slumbering and withering away in an eternal sleep would do that to a person. His old body had barely moved since he had made the decision to sleep and wait for his own death.

Breaking of a tree branch, he pulled out a dagger from the sheath at his waist. Looking at the dagger, a look of astonishment appeared on his face.

When it came to tools, Electrolux had been an old hand. He had personally created the [Tower of Eternity], a Supra Divine ranked tool. So, he could easily tell the quality of this weapon.

The dagger was roughly forty centimeters long, and its scabbard was dark green in color. The scabbard was made of tough leather, definitely one of a powerful Spirit Beast.

The handle of the dagger was about seventeen centimeters long and didn't have any gorgeous decorations on it at all—it gave people a simple and unadorned feeling. Not only did it feel natural to hold, but it also felt exceptionally comfortable.

It also didn't make any noise when it was unsheathed. The twenty-three-centimeter-long blade was just like limpid autumn water and seemed to be transparent.

The [White Tiger Dagger]. This was the dagger's name, which his mother had told him.

He only knew that it was a present that his father had given to his mother. It had always been treasured by his mother, so much so that his mother had only given it to him the moment before she passed away.

To Yuhao, this dagger had seemed ordinary enough, but to Electrolux, it had the appearance of mid-level tool. Yuhao couldn't help but wonder what the tools real abilities were.

Using the dagger to sharpen a tree branch, he slowly walked towards a stream with it in hand. Although the dagger was a good weapon, it was a little too sharp for what he was about to do next.

After arriving at the stream, Yuhao took a deep breath, making his eyes immediately light up. Two pupils emerged in his eyes. He ballooned slightly in size, and a vertical eye silently opened on his forehead. His hair turned half black and half white and looked like the patterns on a tiger's skin. All of the minute details in the clear water were magnified within his eyes. He was now able to see the minute changes in the water's ripples, with everything seeming to slow down as he looked at it.

This was his Martial Soul, the [Three-Eyed White Tiger]!

With extreme precision, he skewered several mackerels in a row, even getting multiple at the same time. The fish couldn't escape the gaze of the [Three-Eyed White Tiger] and the skill of a Scion of Light. After all, before his turn to Necromancy, Electrolux had been the most talented Scion in history.

Even his inheritor, Long Haochen, couldn't break the records that he had set. So even after all the time that had passed, his skills with close range weapons were still decent.

Huo Yuhao gutted the mackerels proficiently before seasoning it with salt and Purple Basil which he stuffed into the fish's belly.

As he made a fire and set up the skewers, Yuhao reminisced about the days where he had visited the wilderness. The numerous years where he had spent traveling to the edges of the world had become one of his only happy memories after Fu Lao had scarred the rest.

With his remembrance of Fu Lao, Yuhao's mood dipped severely. A perfectly good moment had been ruined just like that.

He tried to distract himself from his thoughts, but thankfully, an intruder had arrived to do the job for him

"How fragrant!"

A happy and delicate cry echoed out at that moment.

He looked towards the source of the sound and saw two people walking along the side of the stream. The person walking in front was a girl who looked to be around fifteen or sixteen and had long black hair that was tied into a ponytail behind her. She wore a set of light blue, form-fitting warrior's robes, which seemed to outline her budding and delicate body that was filled with youth.

She had phoenix-like eyes, which were both big and bright. She also had a raised nose, an almost perfect oval face, and a pretty and delicate face that was slightly happy as she fixed her gaze on Huo Yuhao's roasted fish.

The person following behind her was a youth that seemed to be of the same age as her. His slender body was tall and straight, whilst his short, deep blue hair shone with a jade-like luster under the sunlight. Although he wasn't old, he gave people a sort of scholarly feeling. His handsome face had a lazy yet warm smile on it, and his hands were rested on the back of his head. He also gazed in Huo Yuhao's direction with an interested look. However, he wasn't looking at the roasted fish, but at Huo Yuhao himself.
