19 The Class Tournament Begins

   The five days left for the Class Tournament spent on Training. Wulin took it upon himself to train Xie Xie and  Xu Lizhi. From his experience, he knew well what was suited for Xie Xie. In his previous life, Xie Xie's potential came out very late. Although he was strong, it was undeniable fact that he could reach his full potential.

  With that, the day for the Tournament arrived. The night before the tournament, Wulin held a strategy meeting.

"So that's our plan ", he said as he got up.

"Boss, although I am sure I am fairly strong after that Training you put me through, five days won't make too much difference. Are you sure this is enough?", Xie Xie asked. But everyone shared the same doubts. Because what Wulin suggested was completely outrageous.

"Well, you can decide, fo it or get a beating from me. Which do you choose?", Wulin said nonchalantly as if it wasn't a big deal, causing Xie Xie to sweat buckets. He knows well how scary Wulin's beating was.

"Captain, I think you are getting too confident with us ", Xi Xiaoyan said and others nodded. Well except for Gu Yue, she didn't have much opinion.

"Tang Wulin, I think you should think this through. One loss and it's out ", Ye Xinglan said. She was surprised Wulin suggested something so outrageous.

"C'mon, what's the point of we don't try something bold? If it isn't much of a challenge, how can it be interesting?", Tang Wulin said. He seemed rather excited with this plan, "beside, we can still manage if this does work right? "

"I think we could try. After all, Xie Xie and Xu Xiaoyan are too dependent on Wulin. This could help them grow as well. And I doubt any of them would think of fighting us since we have an official challenge against The ranker", Gu Yue spoke up.

"There you go again, backing up him ", Xie Xie facepalmed. "You know, you spoil Boss way too much ".

  This earned him a glare from Gu Yue. "Xie Xie, since you say I am backing him, why don't I join him in beating you up?", she asked in a cold tone.

"Sister Gu Yue, I was wrong! Please don't treat me like a punching bag like Captain does!", Xie Xie exclaimed, waving his hand in air, with a terrified expression on his face.

  With that, the meeting concluded. While others left to do their own things, Gu Yue and Tang Wulin stayed behind in the dorm.

"Wulin, someone in my clan knows about your Blue Silver Emperor. He seemed surprised hearing that you had this martial soul. He is adamant about seeing you as soon as possible ", Gu Yue said.

"Well, I could meet him tomorrow ", Wulin said with a smile. 'Guess he took the bait ', he thought.

"But don't you need to participate I the tournament as well? ", Gu Yue asked, a little surprised.

"Then we just need to finish as soon as possible ", Wulin replied. He seemed as. If he didn't care much.

"Aren't you overconfident?", Gu Yue raised an eyebrow, but her face held a slight smile.

"Nah, I am just excited to try out my new soul skill ", Tang Wulin smiled at her.

    The next day, entire Class One teams were lined up by the arena. All the teachers and elders were also present. Just like in his previous life, Elder Cai, Elder Zhou Shi and Master Feng Wuyu arrived to watch Wulin's performance. Ya Li was the Referee, who all sat by the at the front row.

    But the most attractive feature was a young girl, who sat beside Ya Li. Her Silver hair and purple eyes caught the eyes of everyone. Her face fair and so pretty, mesmerizing whoever saw her. She was like a fairy that descended on the world.

   Everyone in Class One were watching her in daze. If it was anywhere else, the boys would have surrounded her, but seeing her sitting beside the Holy Spirit Douluo, they understood her position wasn't simple.

   Under the declaration of the Holy Spirit Douluo, the tournament officially began. As Tang Wulin expected, no one was willing to face the Rankers. As for those who faced them, only the first three put up any fight. But they were defeated by Xie Xie, Xu Xiaoyan and Xu Lizhi. Wulin and Gu Yue didn't do anything!

   It was all according to how Wulin strategized. He knew well, none of his classmates valued Xu Xiaoyan and Xie Xie much. As for Xu Lizhi, he was a food type after all. They were only varied of Tang Wulin and Gu yue.

   So Tang Wulin planned on making a screen of fog with Xu Xiaoyan's soul skill, while Xie Xie would hide within. Xu Xiaoyan was really efficient in restraining her opponent, or atleast limit them since she was able to use her Starwheel staff again during the day.

  As for Xie Xie, Tang Wulin trained him to use his momentum to add up to his attack power. Xie Xie's style was insta-kill. And Tang Wulin focused on Training Xie Xie with adding his speed and sharp killer intent to completely impale his opponents. Thus was something old Tang, who regained most of Tang San's knowledge, taught him- the essence of assassination. After all, Tang San's skill in assassination was top notch.

  If any of the opponents got close to Xu Xiaoyan, Xu Lizhi was able to defend. He was adept in using Ghost Perplexed steps and Mysterious Jade Palm. This was also refined under Tang Wulin's guidance, who was in turn, instructedby old Tang. He would always catch his opponents off guard, and buy enough time for Xie Xie to finish the job.

   By the time the fog is cleared, all other could see was five bodies on the ground, knocked out. After which, they recovered their strength with Xu Lizhi's buns. But throughout the match, Gu Yue and Tang Wulin did not do anything.

  The actual reason Tang Wulin made Xu Xiaoyan and Xie Xie do the work was simply because he didn't find it fair to take part in it. His spirit shock from purple demonic eyes is enough to hospitalize the entire class in one hit.

   Even if his spiritual core crumbled when he forcefully established a connection with the Divine realm, he is still at the Spiritual domain realm and could easily use his domain, if he unsealed the sealed away spiritual consciousness.

   Tang Wulin honestly found this pointless now. So he thought, why not make it more challenging and interesting. So he decided to see how much Xie Xie and others could improve.

  With that, the final round was expectedly Tang Wulin's group vs the Rankers.

   The rankers ready got up to the arena, and lined up. But when they saw the opposite side, their eyes couldn't help but widen. Because the otherside only had two people, Tang Wulin and Gu Yue!

"Class President, why are the others not joining you?", Luo Guixing asked with his usual charming smile.

"I thought it would be too much if all of my teammates came up. It wouldn't be a challenge ", Tang Wulin replied with even more charming smile. His smile was so radiant, every girl present had their hearts skip a beat.

  But those who knew him well would have a chill run down their spine seeing it.

"This brat is definitely up to something",  Feng Wuyu and Zhou Shi, who were arguing just a minute ago facepalmed at the same time.

"What do mean?", Li asked, while Na'er also turned around. Ya Li was surprised that these to actually agreed on something.

"The more sincere he smiles, the more you should be wary of him. This brat is a devil incarnate ", Feng Wuyu admitted, while Zhou Shi also nodded.

"Seems like even the elder are wary of your brother Na'er ", Ya Li giggled as she looked at Na'er, who was pouting.

"Bastard, are you looking down on us?!", zheng Yiran shouted.

"Yup", Tang Wulin said with a smile.

"Why you... ", Zheng Yiran gritted her teeth. Others also didn't have a good expression of what he just said.

"Class President, I never knew you were so cocky ", Yang Nianxia said, with a look of surprise.

"Tang Wulin, if your teammates don't come up now, they would be counted as out of bounds and won't be allowed to participate later ", Ya Li warned. She was a little disappointed seeing Tang Wulin act so cocky.

  Ya Li declared the start of the match and the ranker quickly got into positions. Luo Guixing and Zheng Yiran at the back, with Zheng Yiran defending Luo Guixing, Wu Siduo at the front, and the other to flanking from both sides.

"Let's start Gu Yue ", Tang Wulin took his stance for battle. Just as three attackers from the opponents ran up, Tang Wulin dissappeared in a flash.

   In an instant, he appeared between Luo Guixing and Zheng Yiran, on his head was a golden -black thorny crown, followed by three Lances of Blue Silver Emperor shooting from the ground and enclosed both of them, sealing the space around them

"That should be enough for the two of you ", he simply glanced at the duo while turning around.

  Luo Guixing and Zheng Yiran found themselves completely immobilized. Even their mouth was sealed. Luo Guixing was confident he could teleport away easily from any incoming attack or binding, but now he found himself completely separated from the outside space. The speed was too fast for him to even realize.

   The thing about Tang Wulin's soul skill is that, the closer he is to the target the faster the skill works. So when he teleported near the two, he could easily capture them. But that alone wasn't enough to trap Luo Guixing. After all, he was more adept in using the space element than him.

    But that is if Tang Wulin was controlling the spacial sealing of the skill. But in truth, it was Gu Yue who was doing so. She was the one who was solidifying the space around the Luo Guixing. After all, her mentality is far higher than Luo Guixing and also her control over space was much more efficient.

   The three who charged forward were completely flabbergasted at what just happened. They expected Tang Wulin to come at them, take them out first. But they never expected Tang Wulin to have a Teleportation skill, nor did they expect him to take down Luo Guixing so easily, and even more so,with the space element itself.

  Wu Siduo took over the command now. She commanded Xi yucheng and Yang Nianxia to take out Gu Yue while she used hell rush to reach Tang Wulin.

   Tang Wulin summoned three more Lances of Blue silver emperor, but this time it was different. It didn't come out of the ground, but tore through space and revolved around him. Tang Wulin grabbed one of them while the other two rushed towards the two helpless prisoners.

   Just when the two Lances reached them, they were teleported away by Ya Li, while Tang Wulin clashed against Wu Siduo. Tang Wulin and Gu Yue could not help but get taken aback when Ya Li easily teleported away Luo Guixing and Zheng Yiran. She was not a attack type, but a healer yet she was strong enough to nullify the space sealing fortified by Tang Wulin and Gu Yue.

  As for those two who just got eliminated, they were utterly frustrated. Zheng Yiran because she couldn't do anything at all. She was completely helpless. Even releasing her martial soul wasn't possible within that sealed space

   Luo Guixing found it insulting. He was confident no one is more adept in space element than himself within the Whole class. But now he was defeated by the very space element, and by the very person he looked down on.

  As for the Class and Shen Yi, and even Wu Zhangkong, they were speechless. They never expected that Tang Wulin would finish of the two so easily. The class were at disbelief.

   Shen Yi wondered why Wu Zhangkong would give Tang Wulin a handicap by not allowing Ye Xinglan to participate. In her eyes, only Gu Yue was better than the five ranker. She didn't consider Tang Wulin any special. When she saw Tang Wulin only taking Gu Yue for the competition, she was taken aback.

  But then, she saw him take out two of them within a few seconds of the start of the match. Her mind was blank. Every evaluation she made of Tang Wulin was thrown out of the window. She subconsciously glanced at Wu Zhangkong, who stood beside her. She was surprised to see even he held shock in those cold eyes.

  Wu Zhangkong wanted to pressure Tang Wulin to his limits. But what just happened was beyond his belief. His student's improvement was heaven defying!
