6 Chapter-4: Reunion Of siblings

It was sunset. Beneath the crimson sky, stood a maiden by the lake. Hair hair was silver, which swayed in the evening wind, and shined brilliantly. Her face was so beautiful, it was like a doll, it was unreal. Her purple eyes were clear as glass, adding to her beauty. Her slim figure was stunning, while her slender arms held a silver spear. Her eyes looked determined.

"Na'er....", a voice came from behind. A voice came from behind. When the voice rang in her ears, her eyes softened, and soon tears filled. Her body began to shake slightly, as she turned around.

"Brother...", her sweet voice was shaken. As soon as she saw was behind her, she ran up to him. Tang Wulin opened his arms to recieve her, and hugged her. Na'er wrapped her slender hands around Tang Wulin and began to cry.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry....", she repeated these words as she continued to hug him and cry. Tang Wulin smiled and rubbed her head, comforting her. But his own voice was in turmoil, that he struggled not to project his memories with her due to his thought concretisation.

"It's alright Na'er, don't cry..."

It took a while for Na'er to stop crying. Then she slowly and reluctantly moved away from him. Tang Wulin was also able to sense this. He clearly remembered what she said to him at the Sea God date festival. He also knew she and Gu Yue are two split souls. But he couldn't help but view her simply as his little sister he cherished. 'But now is not the time to worry about that '.

"Na'er, why did you leave like that?", Tang Wulin asked.

"I'm sorry brother. My clan found me, and I had no choice but to return. My clan had too much faith in me for our objective. It was with my clan's special ritual, I awakened my martial soul, the Silver Dragon Spear ", Na'er said with her head down.

Tang Wulin understood the meaning behind those words. It was what she said when they reunited in his previous life. But only now was he able to understand the what it truly meant. 'You too carried way too much burden on your shoulders. And I, never bothered to ask you guys', Tang Wulin lamented in his heart.

"Na'er, remember this. If you have too much burden, I will carry it for you. Never forget, your big brother will always be there for you ", said with determined eyes. These words made Na'er's body to tremble, but she simply smiled and nodded.

"But what happened to your hair and eyes. They are so blue ", Na'er asked. She clearly remembered her brother had black hair and black eyes.

"My bloodline awakened. And this is the change brought by it", Tang Wulin replied.

"I didn't know our family had such a strong blood line. Although you are a soul grandmaster, I could still feel the strength of your bloodline. Is that why you seem different ", Na'er asked curiously.

"Different, other than my looks?", Tang Wulin raised an eyebrow, and Na'er nodded.

"Yes. Although you still seem to be your usual self, it feels as if you are not affected by the world. Your very presence seem like it's looking down on the world", Na'er said with sparkling eyes.

Tang Wulin was taken aback. Although he knew his behavior changed since he was a God, and he held back his spiritual strength, he didn't know he was emitting such a presence.

'Did my integrated mentality with the Golden Dragon King and my own God level cultivation a reason for this?", he thought.

The two sat by the lake and spoke about their life so far. Tang Wulin so her occasional change in expression when he mentioned his time with Gu Yue.

"I wish I was there with you, big brother ", she said with her head down. Tang Wulin patted her head and said with a smile, " you are with me now right ". Hearing this, Na'er nodded but, she was still feeling contemplated.

"Hey Na'er, I wanna ask you something"

"What is it brother ", Na'er look at Tang Wulin.

"If a being splits into two, would one half's thought influence the other ", Tang wulin asked still staring at the lake.

Na'er's face went pale hearing this question. But she composed herself and asked," why do you ask?".

"Just curious ", Tang Wulin said nonchalantly.

"Well, if the two are independent, they won't affect each other unless they merge back ", Na'er tried her best to remain calm.

"If the two merge, would one personality be erased? ", Tang Wulin continued.

"That would happen if one devours the other. If they are merging, all their experience while merge as well, all their thought as feelings. Merging occurs after both half agrees to combine. For one personality to be dormant, mean the other half agrees with it ", Na'er answered and Tang Wulin nodded.

"Why do you ask? ", Na'er enquired.

"You should have felt it too, right, my bloodline. It's that of the Golden Dragon King", Tang Wulin replied. Na'er looked startled but nodded.

"I could feel it has another half, and it's called the Silver Dragon King. So what would happen if we were to meet. Would we also have to devour the other?", Tang Wulin asked.

Na'er was shocked to core. She never imagined Tang Wulin would know about the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King.

"I asked you since you have the same martial soul. So I thought you felt something similar ", Tang Wulin said, acting ignorant to her emotional fluctuation.

"Brother, if something like that ever happens, I'll try my best to stop it ", Na'er said determined and balling her fists. Tang Wulin smiled and rubbed her head, " Don't get worked up. I was simply speculating. Well, I need to go meet my grand teacher ".

With that, Tang Wulin got up to leave. After a final hug, Tang Wulin left, while Na'er stared at his disappearing figures and thought, " your speculations are right brother, but I will protect you for sure " .

"So they have to merge inorder to regain their full strength, and Gu Yue also inherited Na'er's feelings as well. Na'er was alive within her but only Gu Yue's personality surfaced because Na'er agreeing, as a result of their bet ", Tang Wulin speculated as he reached his grand teacher's place. The reason he asked Na'er these things were not because his bloodline being the Golden Dragon King, but because he wanted to understand Gu Yue and Na'er's situation.

Sorting out everything he heard, Tang Wulin walked in to meet Zhuo Shi. When Tang Wulin finally met him, Zhou Shi looked as if he would tear him down any moment. But when he noticed the change in Tang Wulin, he was startled, but only for a moment.

"Brat, where did you run off to?! You've got some nerve, keeping your grand teacher waiting like this?!", he growled in anger.

"Grand teacher, I'm sorry! I only went to meet someone I know!", Tang Wulin replied, while bowing his head. This was done, not just to show his respect, but also to hide his face, filled with complicated expression. No matter how many times he told himself everything can be changed, and he could protect everyone this time, all those memories of the calamity still resurfaced.

Seeing Tang Wulin bow earnestly, Zhou Shi sighed. He couldn't never be mad at this grand disciple of his. "Alright. Now tell me about this bloodline awakening. Is this some kind of godly blood or something. It completely changed your presence".

Tang Wulin was taken aback by this. It was just like Na'er said. His aura changed. If someone else finds out he is the son of Tang San before he is strong enough, it could cause a major problem. Tang Wulin focused, at suppressed the Sea God bloodline which was coursing through his viens like the raging ocean. Subsequently, it dampen the aura he was emitting, and changed his hair and eyes back to former black color. He didn't want to be too eye catching.

"I can't control the aura I'm releasing much, since I just awakened it. Even my parents don't know anything about this, I'm sure ", Tang Wulin said, dodging the question. He didn't wanna down right lie to his grand teacher about it.

Zhou Shi and Wu Zhangkong understood that Tang wulin was hiding something, but decided not to ask. They knew him well enough to know that he wouldn't do anything without a reason.

"So you broke through huh? Gonna get your third spirit ring?", Zhou Shi asked, inorder to change the topic. Tang Wulin shook his head, " not yet. My bloodline and soul power needs to stabilize first. Only then could I get a soul ring. Grand teacher, can you arrange a pass to the ascension platform for me. I think q bit of combat training might help", Tang wulin said. He really needed to get used to this body he had.

Zhou Shi glanced at Wu Zhangkong, who nodded in understanding. After giving few guidance to Tang Wulin, and showing him the first move of the Divine Dragon Nine moves, Zhou Shi retired to rest for the day.

Tang Wulin also returned. He already knew the nine moves, so he didn't need to practice it.

'I already know the divine dragon nine moves, and I am a divine blacksmith. So in this life, I will focus solely on getting stronger. I can't let what happened in my previous life happen again'.

'And, I need to retrieve an old friend'
