1 Hikaru

"Get Out! We don't need trash like you working for our clan!".

Hikaru was being held by his hair and was being dragged out of the clan like a dirty mutt, being dragged in front of the entire clan.

The looks of disdain and contempt could be seen in the eyes of all of the clan members as they saw this little "dirty mutt" was being dragged out by senior elder Wuchen, and being thrown out of the entrance of the clan smashing into the ground leaving the clan grounds bloody.

Hikaru was born deaf, he had no way of cultivating, and no parents, Hikaru was a slave bought by the Wu Clan a few months ago but the moment they realised they had bought a useless slave who couldn't even do the simplest of chores, they decided there was no need for him.

Who is Hikaru? He is a nobody, his life as long as he could remember had been the same, being a slave one day, being bought the next, and being thrown back out the next. Every time Hikaru got kicked out he would go back to the slave trade auction and stand in line, as long as he could remember this was the only way he had lived.

"Look he's back, get him out of here!" yelled one of the slave masters to his subordinates. Hikaru was picked up by his tiny blonde hair and dragged yet again out like a dirty mutt…

Hikaru could feel the pain but couldn't express it, he could feel his heart tearing to millions of pieces but didn't know what it meant to have a heart break. Picking himself up, he started walking, not knowing where his destination would lead him. He soon arrived at the gates of the city and walked out without anybody noticing, his destination? The Divine Forest. (Note: Hikaru at this point has no clue where he is going/ you could say that he is blindly walking a path that not even he knows.)

Few days after Hikaru's departure, a giant shadow a few hundred kilometers away could be seen rushing towards the direction of the city. If someone could closely inspect this creature, they would realize how terrifying this creature was, just from the aura radiating from it could make even the strongest practitioners of the city kneel down for mercy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After walking for a few days Hikaru turned around and stared at the tall bushes blocking his view, this was the first time Hikaru had ever left the confines of the city, yet he had no regret in his heart. What startled Hikaru the most was that he couldn't see any living creature within the Divine Forest, he would always see the faces of the warriors that would come back from the Divine Forest, and yet he had no clue that a mere mortal like him would have been killed days ago...yet nothing….

Walking….Walking...Hikaru didn't know how long he had been walking, yet it felt like he didn't make any progress since the beginning of his entrance to the Divine Forest.

"Bzzz…...Bzzz" Hikaru stopped in his tracks ...the world around Hikaru started to warp, a blinding light illuminates from the surroundings caused Hikaru's vision to get blurred, followed by a stinging pain in his head "Bzzzzz...Bzzzzz". Not being able to endure the pain, Hikaru fainted on the spot.

Slowly regaining his consciousness Hikaru slowly opened his eyes, what shook him the most, was that he couldn't feel his body.

After closer examination he realized that he didn't have a body, yet he could still see his surroundings.

Startled and scared Hikaru looked around and found himself in an icy cave, the illuminating lights of the angelic blue crystals hanging from the ceilings like chandeliers made everything seem royal in the truest sense.

Looking closely Hikaru saw multiple balls of light slowly congealing towards him. Bewildered Hikaru didn't know what to do since he couldn't move. A few balls of light shot towards Hikaru, causing him to close his eyes due to fear. After a second he slowly opened his eyes to see that the balls of light were slowly entering his body from every pore. What bewildered him the most was that the pain he expected to feel wasn't there. Instead he felt a warm feeling that he had never felt before.

Suddenly Hikaru's vision went black, followed by a ray of light which covered his vision

Hikaru had no idea what was going on but he could see himself within a memory of a little boy around his age running up to a woman who seemed to be in her early twenties, giving her a kiss on her cheek and cuddling in her arms. This feeling made Hikaru's heart feel in such a way for the first time in his life, mainly because the vision he saw was through the eyes of the little boy and feeling, the craziest thing of all was he felt everything from the emotion to the warmth.

Soon more balls of light started shooting towards Hikaru leading him to have more memories. Even though he couldn't hear what was going on in these visions he could tell, see, and learn from the actions and effects caused by these memories.

Days would pass by as Hikaru's speed of contemplating and memorizing these memories increased, soon months, followed by years...those years turning into decades which turned into millenia.

After his first thousand years of memories Hikaru came to realized that he could cultivate his current soul using a method created by a peerless Immortal named Sora, Hikaru didn't know what this method was called but he could recall the immortal using his connection with the world and all things living to cultivate his soul to the point where with just a thought he could leave a deep crater the size of the biggest of kingdoms in the biggest of planes.

Soon Hikaru trained in various soul techniques he learned from the memories of the millions of soul based cultivators whose lives Hikaru had seen and even lived ranging from young to old, weak to strong, rich to poor.

Dragonborn Continent

'Rumble ...Rumble' the grounds within the Divine Forest start to shake uncontrollably, leaving every creature ranging from weak to strong startled and scared. As intensity of the quake increased, multiple minute cracks could be seen forming all around the grounds of the Divine Forest, these cracks were leading to a single point of origin within the epicenter of the Divine Forest. "Ssss" blood colored mist could be seen seeping from these cracks.

All the monsters within the Divine Forest where courageous enough to get even within a 100 meters of these cracks were turned to dust. It didn't matter if you were the strongest beast within the Divine Forest, or even the Continent, nobody had the power to withstand such a mist.

Within the center of the Divine forest a door appeared, a dark gold door, which if seen closely small texts could be seen all around the door, making it seem ominous and stunning at the same time. The dark gold door was releasing an aura which could bend space and time, it seemed to be something which not even the heavens could lay a hand on.

'Creak…' slowly the door started to open, bringing from within a pressure that instantly suppressed anything within a 100 meters of it but the weirdest thing of all was the pressure remained compressed within the 100 meter radius, any living being outside of this 100 meter radius wouldn't be able to sense even the minutest of pressure from this door

----------

The Continent in which Hikaru had lived was called Dragonborn Continent, one of the smallest continents and weakest of the thirteen continents of this world. yet it spanned 100 Million Kilometers (The area of Asia is roughly 17.21 Million square kilometers just to reference or something along that line ...maybe...) so you could say that Dragonblood Continent can hold its own ...maybe ...probably not...Sigh…

Within this world only the strongest are given respect while the weakest are just the 'Waste'.

If you have strength you can kill anybody weak without any repercussions. Why? Because the rule of the jungle is what applies within this dangerous but prospering world.

When it comes to cultivation there are multiple paths warriors can take to reach the pinnacle of existence, yet reaching such peaks in power isn't something everybody can do.

To choose their paths every immortal has to start from the same juncture and that is to go through the first five realms of mortality, then can a mortal have a chance to set foot within the world of immortals and choose their paths, or let the paths choose them.

First Realm - Seed Realm

Second Realm - Nurturing Realm

Third Realm - Blooming Realm

Fourth Realm - Petal Realm

Fifth Realm - Life Realm

That's enough of a lesson, let's move back to the main story….

--------

Throughout the Dragonblood Continent, all the Prophets and Followers of Divinity felt a faint but dangerous premonition being sent by their gods from the High Heavens, warning them of a looming danger That not even the gods themselves can locate. Going by these assumptions most Prophets assumed it was another deity being awakened within the realm. (Any cultivator above the Five realms of mortality are called Deity by the cultivators of the world but not many know the capabilities of such beings except the true experts of the world really know what these beings are capable of.).

Every big faction and all the big cities within the Dragonblood Continent were put on high alert, since nobody knew if this deity level existence was human or beast, friend or foe.

Within the divine forest, a small blue ball surrounded by red mist slowly exited the dark golden door, this was no other than Hikaru's soul! Startled, Hikaru himself didn't realize what was going on or how this door managed to magically appear in front of him. Slowly he retracted his soul which he used moments ago to peek through the cracks of the door to figure out what was on the opposite side. After being able to sense that this was the world in which he barely managed to remember from so long ago he decided to open the door and make his way out.

The moment he reached outside the door Hikaru realized that golden lights were surrounding his soul, these lights seemed to be falling from the heavens making them seem majestic. Feeling like he was being embraced by a mother, causing Hikaru to relax, feeling that his soul was connected with the world, Hikaru got extremely excited, without thinking he decided to shut himself from his surroundings to cultivate, as to why? Prior to his exiting the cave Hikaru felt that he was at the peak of his cultivation of the soul due to the fact that he could no longer feel the presence of the world.

Within an Hour of his cultivation, Hikaru's soul started to lose its color from its pure dark blue colors. Slowly the soul became pure white, but it didn't stop there, it seemed as if red mist surrounded Hikaru's soul before merging into it. Soon Hikaru's soul became translucent to the point of almost becoming barely visible to the naked eye, yet releasing an even more frightening aura than before.

Within an hour the golden light surrounding Hikaru dissipates showing the body of a teenage boy seeming to be around 14 years of age.

Opening his eyes, Hikaru uses his soul to see what had happened to him. Starled Hikaru realizes that he has a body. A body of a boy with translucent Pure blue eyes, short blonde hair, and seeming to be as fragile as a stick. yet he couldn't feel any energy within his dantians.

"Chirp..Chirp" Startled Hikaru's mind goes blank, he doesn't know what that was, he doesn't know how that sound came to his ears. "Chirp chirp" Hikaru tries to locate this weird sound not knowing what is happening, and soon sees a small bird flying through the empty and broken landscape surrounding him….

Hikaru felt his heart beating faster and faster. "Badump...badump...badump..badump.badump". The Blood rushing through his system like a typhoon, followed by Pure Qi from the cosmos rushing into his dantian like a vortex, not expecting the process Hikaru faints due to the extreme pain caused by these powers being forged into his body.

A Few days later Hikaru wakes up from his slumber, looking around realizing there are a bunch of rabbits and deer sleeping next to him, some even having their heads on his stomach. Dumbfounded Hikaru gets up and Recollects himself. "Well it is a strange feeling, going from being someone who views the world through the memories of others, I can finally be one who creates the following memories of my own life" Causing Hikaru to have a wide grin, in anticipation of the things to come.
