Sortilege in the Gales

The need to leave was on the tip of her fingers. She desperately tries to reach for her newfound freedom, but it doesn't work. Sadness and loneliness wrap around her like the finest silk clothes. The young mother has to hide her bruises with makeup and her tears with smiles. Looking towards her kin gave her a sense of jealousy but also a sense of determination. Although her innocence is gone, there is still a chance for them. So, she will do what she can to protect them from their wretched father. But that is easier said than done.
