9 This can't be

Dinner time went by very slowly and Hee Joo could feel like everyone's eyes were on her. No one at the table talks or anything. Everyone was just peacefully eating their food.

After dinner was over, Hee Joo went over to the living room and sat on the couch. She opens the tv and skips through channels. Nothing is really interesting to her, so at last she closes the tv and stares outside. A plane fly passes and Hee Joo just admires it, while laying down. 'Today's night sky is more different than the other days,' as she mummers to herself. Once the plane passes by and can no longer see it anymore, she looks at how beautiful the stars are. It was the same as the first time she saw them when she first got here.

As she was admiring it, footsteps came into the living room, but Hee Joo was into the view that she didn't notice.

"Don't fall asleep here. I won't carry you back to your room," as a voice called out. Hee Joo quickly got up to see who it was and it was Yoo Jin. She fixed her postures and said, "I wasn't going to sleep. I was just thinking and admiring the view. Plus, if I do fall asleep here, I wouldn't need you to carry me back to my room." Hee Joo stretches her neck and arms before she starts heading back upstairs. Before she could leave the room, Yoo Jin stopped her. "What is it now?" as she stares at him. "Drink this before going back," as he hands her a cup of warm milk. Hee Joo looks at it, and gives a very unsatisfying look. "What? Are you scared that I'll poison you?" as Yoo Jin asked. Hee Joo quietly saids no. "Then what is it?" Yoo Jin looks at her.

She slightly pushed the milk away from her and said, "I don't really like to drink milk. Can I not drink it?" Yoo Jin's eyes are on her, "you think we can discuss that? No, you have to drink it." He puts it in front of her. "Hold it and drink it."

Hee Joo looks at him with a sad and angry face, "can I not? Just this once?"

"Don't make me pin you down and feed you it, and plus being picky will cause bad sins" Yoo Jin's voice was firm and didn't try to backoff.

She sighs and looks at him desperately, but he doesn't say anything. She got no choice but to take the cup and gulped it down her throat. She squinted her eyes and made a weird face.

"See was it that hard?" as Yoo Jin takes the cup back. Hee Joo looks at him angrily, "watch out Yoo Jin, I'll make you pay for this." She turns around and walks back upstairs. Yoo Jin smiles and watches as Hee Joo disappears through the stairs.

"I can't let him go like this," as Hee Joo thought. As Hee Joo was walking back to her room, she saw Son-ho walking towards her and an idea just came to her. "Son-ho, hi. Can I ask you something?" Son-ho smiles and is gladly to answer whatever she asks. "Can I ask you what Yoo Jin hates to eat or drink?" Hee Joo saw that Son-ho was kinda doubting to say it. "Don't worry, I won't do anything to him. I was just asking because I want to cook you guys breakfast tomorrow and I need to know what he hates or dislikes, so I wouldn't make those." Son-ho nods, "if that's the case, Mr. Yoo doesn't like to eat fish, cheese, and tomatoes. And as for drinks, he doesn't like to drink apple juice and soy milk." After saying it, Hee Joo was pretty shocked. "He is a picky eater." Son-ho laughs, "Mr. Yoo wasn't a picky eater before, but…" He didn't finish his sentence and just walked off.

Hee Joo walks back to her room and jots the stuff down. "Yoo Jin, it's your turn to suffer now."

The next morning, Hee Joo wakes up earlier than usual. She quickly walked down the kitchen and told Auntie Lee that she'll be making breakfast today. In less than 30 minutes, she finishes making everything and places each of the plates on the table. "Wow, Hee Joo you made this?" as Ra-Yi and Jung-Hwa came down at the same time. Hee Joo nodded and told them to sit down. Yoo Jin came in last and sat down too. Hee Joo watches him as he looks at the food.

Hee Joo wanted to laugh, but held it in. "What is it?" as Jung-Hwa asks. "Nothing. Brother try my sandwich that I made today." Jung-Hwa took a bite and was satisfied with it. "It's good, but there's tomatoes in it. Doesn't Yoo Jin doesn't eat them?" Hee Joo puts on an innocent face and acts like she didn't know. "Well, I didn't know. But I don't think he's that picky right because I heard someone say that ' being picky will cause bad sins.' She saids it while looking at Yoo Jin.

Yoo Jin looks at her like he's gonna kill her, but Hee Joo just smiles at him. "Isn't this soy milk?" as Ra-Yi asks. Hee Joo nods, "Yup." Jung-Hwa looks at Yoo Jin and back at Hee Joo. "Did both of you get into a fight or something?" Hee Joo shakes her head, "No brother, why do you ask?" Jung-Hwa responded back and said, "nothing, but something between you both seems weird."

Hee Joo looks at Yoo Jin who hasn't touched his food yet. "Aren't you going to start eating?" as Hee Joo looks at him. "Or do you not like my cooking?" Everyone stares at Yoo Jin and he stares at the sandwich which has a tomato sticking out. He picked it up and took a bite while staring hardly at Hee Joo. But Hee Joo just gave him a smile.

"See you did it. It wasn't that bad right?" Hee Joo picks up his glass of soy milk and hands it over to him. "Drink some, it's very healthy."

'Kim Hee Joo, I see how it is. You want to play hard then we'll do it,' as Yoo Jin stares at her and takes the glass from her.

Watching Yoo Jin eat and drink the things he hates, makes Jung-Hwa stunned. "Wow Hee Joo, you really got a thing. You made him eat tomatoes and drink soy milk. This is the first time." Jung-Hwa claps and Hee Joo looks at Yoo Jin.

As everyone was finishing their breakfast, Son-ho came in. "General, your parents and Miss Kim's parents came over." Watching Jung-Hwa and Yoo Jin putting down their food, and putting a serious face on, Hee Joo wonders who they are.

Hee Joo followed them out and saw them sitting in the living room waiting for them. "Mom, dad. What brought you here today?" as Jung-Hwa walks over to them. "Must there be something for us to come over?" as his mom answered. Jung-Hwa didn't say anything else.

Yoo Jin walks over to his parents and slightly bows to them. "Yoo Jin, come over and sit here," as his mom takes his hand and makes him sit next to her.

"Today we invited your uncle Kim and auntie Kim over to talk about you and Hee Joo's marriage."

'My what? Me marrying him? This can't be' as Hee Joo's eyes wide open and a face of disbelief.
