30 THE END OF THE BANQUET

Among the fishes swimming in the same pond where that girl named Ming Rijen fall, Janus and Luna was happily playing.

They looked so cute as they were dipping their paws on the shallow water trying to fish out the colorful Koi fishes.

Janus was so good at fishing that in just one minute he already caught three Koi fishes in succession.

"MEOW"

[Ohh... How could you be so good at fishing?! You are so amazing! ]

Luna exclaimed admiringly to Janus.

"MEOW"

[ HEHE... small thing..] Janus smiled but he looked like he was smiling from ear to ear, as he offered Luna the freshly caught fishes.

"MEOW"

[ This is all for you, take it] he offered.

"MEOW"

[That's too much for me. I'm on a diet. We can share.]

Luna said as she casually sat on the grass.

"MEOW"

[ That would be great!]

Janus said delighted as they started to nimble on the fresh fishes.

Meanwhile, when Mu Lingxi saw that the two cats started to feast on the Koi fishes, she immediately looked back at Prince Long Fuzi, smiling awkwardly.

When Prince Long Fuzi saw the awkward expression of Mu Lingxi, he was slightly confused.

"What's the matter Lady Lingxi. Are you not feeling well?" he asked with concern written all over his face.

"HEHE,.. I'm good, no worries. Ahmm... I just wanted to ask if those Koi fishes on your pond are being counted like, does it belongs to your inventory???"

Mu Lingxi asked guiltily scratching her eyebrows as she really feel awkward at this moment.

Realizing what was bothering Lady Lingxi, and seeing where she was directing her nervous and guilty gaze, Prince Long Fuzi wanted to laugh out loud.

"Lady Lingxi, you don't have to worry at all. Your cat can take as many fishes as he want. Not a big deal. Besides, can you see that small white cat beside yours??? That is my younger brother's contracted beast. I reckoned they are getting along pretty well. We can just tell them that Luna eat all those fishes if ever... HAHA!''

Prince Long Fuzi said jokingly.

"Phew" Mu Lingxi heaved a sigh of relief and not too long later she smile back knowing that Prince Long Fuzi was trying to joke her to ease the awkwardness.

Among one of the palace chamber, Mu Yanxiao was giggling happily as she were looking at the line of dresses displayed on her sight. Just like any other normal ladies, Mu Yanxiao love fancy stuffs and dresses.

Although her grandfather doted her a lot, it was the same treatment that Mu Lingxi received so she was not satisfied at all.

But seeing those beautiful dresses all for herself and to think that all of these was gifted to her by Prince Long Yue, Mu Yanxiao was grinning foolishly like a child who have just received a treat.

She believed that she really outdone her cousin Mu Lingxi, this time.

When the banquet was about to end, Prince Long Yue asked around where Mu Yanxiao was.

When he found out that the lady was still at the chamber, he decided to go there to meet her.

Finally reaching the door where Mu Yanxiao was, Prince Long Yue straightened his back and knocked at the close door.

"Lady Yanxiao??? This is Prince Long Yue, may I come in???"

Hearing Prince Long Yue's voice, Mu Yanxiao was initially stunned but she recovered right away.

"Yes my prince come in." She answered sweetly

When Prince Long Yue opened the door, he saw Mu Yanxiao standing waiting to greet him. This lady shares the same facial feature with Mu Lingxi but they have different auras. The lady in her front look prim and proper, too lady like, just like how a typical young miss he knew.

"I'm sorry to trouble you Lady Yanxiao, but can I asked a favor?"

"Yes sure my prince, what can I do for you?"

"Uhmm... can you please help me pass this over to Lady Lingxi??? I heard from my brother that Lady Lingxi help him on getting the magical nucleus that he gifted me. That is why I would like to thank her"

Prince Long Yue handed Mu Yanxiao a clear flask containing gold liquid as he said those words.
