10 Returning to Reinhardt City

Yannick watched as the Old Mans face paled by the second while reading the letter. He did not know the contents what the letter talked about however he was instructed by the General to give it to him, and the Old Man would come with him. After reading the letter the Old Man burned it, turning to look at me he said: "So how are we going to go back."

I was shocked by his change of heart all of a sudden and curious what the letter said that it took me some time to reply at him "Ah sorry I have already prepared a means for us to get back to Reinhardt."

"Well then what are you waiting for, let's go."

We walked out of the city and towards the forest near the city to take the carriage that I had hid. On the outside, it looked like any regular noble carriage. The carriage was silver and was made up of Silver crystals. Two Titanic Abyssinian Horses stood in the front of the carriage. A species that were known for there enormous strength and fantastic stamina at being able to cross vast distances without rest.

The one thing that made this carriage different than any other noble carriage was the coat of arms that was imprinted. It was a relatively large shield with asymmetrical zig-zagged top and asymmetrical round bottom supported by a shark and a pegasus. All of which rests on a mountainous landscape.

A fairly small crown, or coronet, rests atop the shield, it's a crown of narrow tines, it had a satin cap and an abundance of precious gems decorating the outer sides.

On top of the coronet sat a great helm, which itself supported the crest, in this case, a modest pair of wings. The crown and crest were decoratively bound by a roll of fabric, or torse, which carries the primary colours used on the shield, Gold, Black and Silver.

Lastly, tied to the helmet is a luxurious drapery, or mantling, in the shape of delicate ribbons and coloured in the primary colours, just like the torse.

The shield itself has three colours which were painted in a diagonal, symmetrically striped pattern. Two elephants serve as the emblem or charge, and a striped ribbon, positioned just below the shield, carries the words, which read: "Auguste Clan".

After we entered the carriage, I expected the Old Man to talk to me or ask me some questions regarding the Golden Horde. However, the ride back to Reindhardt was awkwardly silent between us. We finally reached The capital and stepped out of the carriage I got a look at the Capital City. It was as beautiful as always and not even Earthbury despite its beauty could compare to Reindhardt.

The city of Reindhardt was built atop a towering fjord and is genuinely an l marvel. Its uniqueness is matched by the backdrop of several waterfalls which have helped shape the city to what it is today.

The riches these waterfalls brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings incorporate the aesthetic elements of water and waterfalls, as well as the lush greenery they provide.

Reinhardt's skyline was scattered with tall skyscrapers, and each was more impressive than the next. Daily life isn't too stressful in Reindhardt, and it has attracted a lot of attention. Various cultures have left their mark not just on the architecture, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a city of little contrast has grown into an amalgamation of differences, and it's this that unites the 19 million people to this day.

The city was under the jurisdiction of the Auguste Clan and was divided into five areas. The outer area was mainly inhabited by poor people, criminals and vagrants. The inner area was the largest area of the city, it was where all the merchants and guilds were situated, one could say it was the source of money for the city. The Residential area is where the Six noble houses under the Auguste Clan lived and it was also where the manors that belonged to the children and grandchildren of the Auguste Clan existed. The military area was where the various armies that belonged to the Six Noble Houses and the Auguste Clan existed.

This was where Yannick and the Old Man were currently walking through. while passing a certain area that belonged to one of the Six Noble Clans Yannick closed his eyes. Once the two reached the area that belonged to the Golden Horde Yannick took the old man to a Red Tent and called out

"General I have brought the Old Man"

Not long after a deep voice sounded out "Let him in"
