Starting to Plant

In the morning, Song Tian wakes up as he heard his phone rang. Looked at the caller ID, he answered, "Fatty Wang, what's up?" he said.

"Brother, chicken coop almost finished. There's still left over oak, and I decided to build with the left over. Is that okay with you?" Wang Hai voice could be heard on the phone.

Song Tian pondered for a moment, "Sure, just build it in the backyard near the river. Also, I planned to build a greenhouse next. I don't know when, but I will contact you later," he said.

"Alright, I'll tell my workers to works on it after done with finishing touch on the chicken coop," Wang Hai said, and the calls ended.

Song Tian took a shower and went to the dining table to have his breakfast.

On his way to the dining room, Song Tian surprised to see his elder sister, "Wow, it's rare for you to have breakfast with us sister," he said.

Song Xue laughed, "Today Sister Ling going to takes over my work, and I had lots of free time to rest," she said.

Song Tian relieved to see his sister finally get some time to rest, "Good, take your time to rest. I'm planning to go now, probably back in the evening. Do you want me to buy anything?" he said.

Song Xue nodded, "I heard yesterday you bought ice cream cakes, but when I got the chance to eat it. There's only a tiny bit left," she said.

Song Xue laughed, "It's definitely eaten by Xiao Xia," she said.

Song Tian laughed, "Alright, I will buy that after I'm done with my work at the farm," he said.

After Song Tian finished breakfast with his family, he went to the garage to get his mom's car and went to his farm.

Zhu Mei looked at the car, disappeared slowly from her sight, sighed, "Xiao Xue, look at your little brother. I always tell him if he wants a car, he can just tell me, and I'll any car he wants. But he always insists that he only wants pocket money," she said.

Song Xue smiled, "Don't worry mom, he just didn't want to rely on you too much. Tomorrow I'm going to buy him a car for a surprise. If the car is already there, he can't say anything about it," she said.

Zhu Mei eyes lit up, "Why I didn't think any of that. But don't you remember when I bought him a car last year, he just sells it and returns the money to my bank account?" she said.

Song Xue laughed, "Haha this time I will convince him, mom. I know one of his favorite games which involved in a lot of cars. I will buy one similar to the car in his favorite games," she said.

Zhu Mei eyes lit up, "What car is it? Is it sports cars? Or what?" she couldn't help but ask.

Song Xue answered, "It's not a sports car, mom. From what I've seen so far, he likes offroad kinds of cars and trucks. I've seen him once broadcast on Sphere while playing that games," she said.

Song Xue continued, "Xiao Tian rarely posted a video or streaming on it, but once he does, I got the notification. I even told my workers to keep an eye on his account," she said.

Sphere is a platform for a content creator to upload and stream their videos, and Song Xue is the owner of the company.

Song Xia, who just came from morning training, looked at Zhu Mei, "Mom, where did brother go?" she asked.

Zhu Mei answered, "You just missed him, he's on his way to his farm," she said.

Song Xia sighed, "Ah, I want him to pick me up in the evening. I have a plan with my new friend to the cake shop today," she said.

Zhu Mei laughed, "Look at you, you already eat many cakes, and you still want more? Your brother will buy the cakes after he's done with his farm in the evening," she said.

Song Xia giggled, "It just too delicious mom. Oh, evening? I will text him, then," she said.

After several moments later, Song Tian arrived at his farm. He looked at the chicken coop, which almost finished, and he saw Wang Hai waved his hand.

Song Tian went to where Wang Hai is, laughed "Fatty Wang, as expected of you. It's not even a month yet, and the works almost finished," he said.

Wang Hai laughed, "Of course, you can't find any construction company faster than us. Oh, I remember you also want to build a greenhouse. Don't forget to let me know once you want to build it," he said smugly.

Song Tian smiled, "Sure, I'll let you know once I'm done with the design. I need to start working now, take your time. Just let me know if there's anything," he said.

Wang Hai nodded, "I'm free anyway, might as well going with you to see your work," he said.

Song Tian laughed, "Come on, I'm going to plant some fruit and vegetable. It might take a while since I'm doing it with the traditional way," he said as he went to his cabin.

On the planted area, he looked at Wang Hai, "Brother, take a closer look at how I till the soil," he said.

Wang Hai looked at Song Tian as he grabbed the hoe and raising his arm high to the air, "What's he doing to raise hoe high in the air like that," he thought.

Suddenly Wang Hai saw Song Tian tilling his hoe really fast, in less than seconds the soil already tilled in a 3x3 and perfectly aligned to each other.

Wang Hai jaw widened, not only Song Tian tilling the soil is really fast, but it's also done meticulously to make such perfect rounds shape aligned next to each other.

Wang Hai immediately asked, "Brother, did you just apply your martial art to till the soil just now?" he said.

Song Tian laughed, "Yes, I applied martial art skill to till this soil. How is it?" he said.

Wang Hai eyes lit up, "Damn brother, didn't know martial art can be applied like this. It's really fast, can I record it to see the slow motion of it?" he said.

Song Tian pondered for a moment, and he can hear Song Yi's voice, "Master, let him record it. The slow-motion result will be just you tilling the soil in a round shape with careful manner," she said.

Song Tian nodded, "Sure, make sure to record my face too, haha," he said.

Wang Hai took out his phone from his pocket and opened the camera app. Pointing the phone at Song Tian, "I'm ready, brother," he said.

Song Tian went to till the soil with 3x3 again, after that he looked at Wang Hai, asked, "Okay, did you record it? Let me see the slow motion of it," he said.

Wang Hai nodded eagerly, "Yes, it's already recorded. Let's see the slow motion of it," he said.

After watching the slow motion of it, Song Tian sighed in relief as the result of the video is the same as to what Song Yi told him.

Song Tian grinned, "I don't have to hide how I work to the other people," he thought.

Song Tian went back to till the soil for a while.

Looked at 100 tilled soils in front of him, Song Tian went to pick the seeds.

Song Tian took the cabbage seeds and asked, "Xiao Yi, so I just spread this in each round randomly without any fixed amount?" he said.

Song Yi answered, "Yes, for now, you can only randomly spread the seeds, and it will produce random quantity once you harvest it," she said.

Song Tian pondered for a moment, and suddenly, he had an idea. He went to his mom's car and picks the water bottle.

After emptying the bottle, Song Tian cuts the middle part of the bottle horizontally.

Song Tian takes a closer look at it, and he cuts more until it became 3cm in height.

Song Tian pours the cabbage seeds enough to fill the bottle he just cut, "Hmm I think one of this is enough for one round of tilled soil," he muttered.

Song Tian went to the tilled soil and pours the seeds with the bottle he just cut. Suddenly, the seeds one by one absorbed into the ground, which makes him surprised.

Song Yi voice could be heard, "This is normal if you're going to put the seeds over the tilled soil by the system tools. The seeds will immediately be absorbed. After pouring the seeds, you just have to water it once," she said.

Song Yi continued, "Too bad you're still level one, you can't see the stats of the crops at the moment," she said.

Song Tian smiled, and he continued to pour all the soil he tilled with cabbages and strawberries. It took him almost an hour to finish all of this.

Song Tian went back to the cabin to get his Basic Watering Can and smelled something delicious.

Song Tian looked at Wang Hai eating on the chair and laughed, "Damn, where did you get that food? Are you bringing the food from home or what?" he said.

Wang Hai swallowed his food, "No, there's a small restaurant nearby. Go to the right after you're out of this farm and you'll see a small restaurant in 20 meters. It's so delicious and cheap," he said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly, "I don't even know there is a small restaurant nearby, I will go later on. You continue eating your stuff, I'm going to water my new plants," he said.

Song Tian picked his Basic Watering Can and went to the planted area. He's using the 3x3 technique on it straight away.

Several minutes later, Song Tian finished all his work for today. He went straight to the bathroom.

Sitting on the chair in the front of the cabin, Wang Hai who's been watching Song Tian work from start to finish sighed, "It seems my brother really serious on taking this business," he muttered.

Since he knew Song Tian ever since they're a kid, Wang Hai knew his brother's mindset.

At first, he though Song Tian only trying to test the water. After watching his brother work and even applied martial art on it, Wang Hai surely knew that his brother's really serious on this.

Wang Hai sighed, "Well, whatever he's doing. I'm going to support him all the way till the end," he thought.

Several moments later, Song Tian looked at Wang Hai still sitting on the chair, "I'm going to the new restaurant nearby, where is the plate? I might as well return it for you since I'm going to eat my lunch there," he said.

Wang Hai laughed, "That's great, thanks, brother. I'm too lazy to get up right now. Here's the plate," He said as he took the plate and handed it to Song Tian.

After Song Tian walked for several meters, he saw the two-story house with the first floor as a restaurant. The restaurant has simple decorating and clean.

He walked toward the middle-aged woman in her forties, "Aunty, this is a plate from my friend who ordered the spicy chicken," he said.

The middle-aged woman smiled and took the plate, "Well, it's rare to see a new customer. Are you planning to eat here or bringing the plate outside?" she said.

Song Tian smiled, "I'm new here, aunty. I'm the new owner at the empty land nearby. My name is Song Tian, I might come here often since I will be living in this area once my cabin is ready. Also, I'm going to eat here, aunty," he said.

The middle-aged woman surprised to see such a young neighbor, laughed, "My name is Gao Zhao, you can just call me Aunty Zhao. Do you also want spicy chicken? Take a look at the menu," she said as she handed the menu to Song Tian.

Song Tian looked at the menu, there are a lot of varieties of spicy foods, "Aunty Zhao, I'm going to order two plates of spicy chicken with rice, five pork soup dumpling and two glass of iced coffee," he said.

Gao Zhao smiled as if it's what she expects and asked, "Are you sure you can eat all of them? That's a lot of foods you know," she said.

Song Tian laughed, "That's my normal portion of foods. I always train my body, so it requires me to eat a lot of foods to replenish my energy. Don't worry aunty, you will see clean plates after I'm finished," he said.

Gao Zhao smiled to see how energetic young man these days and went to the kitchen to make the foods.

After the food is ready, Song Tian devours his food swiftly, which makes Gao Zhao who saw this smiled and satisfied to see such a young man enjoys to eat the food she makes.

Not long after, Song Tian finished all the foods and leaving the clean plates behind.

Gao Zhao looked at the young man satisfied face, smiled, "If you ever have a problem, come to here. People who live around here know me," she said.

Song Tian nodded, "Sure, aunty. Thanks for the delicious foods. Just call me Xiao Tian. See you, aunty!" he said.

Gao Zhao looked at the young man who walked away, sighed, "It's rare to see such a young man with that amount of qi on this mortal world," she thought.

At the farm, Wang Hai just about to leave and saw Song Tian walked toward him, "Brother, I'm going to leave now. The chicken coop is ready, Don't forget to tell me once you're ready to build the greenhouse," he said as he bid farewell to Song Tian.

Song Tian sat on the chair in front of his cabin, opening the social media, and there are a lot of notifications from the photo he previously posted inside the cabin.

A lot of it came from his friend from high school. He smiled and replying one by one.

After several minutes of browsing, his phone suddenly rang with an unknown number. Song Tian answered, "Hello, who is it?"

"Brother, pick me up at the cake shop. I'm using Sister Wen phone right now, my battery already died," Song Xia voice could be heard on his phone.

Song Tian laughed, "Alright, wait for me. I also had to go there anyway to buy Sister Xue ice cream cakes," he said.

Song Tian ended the call and went to the cake shop to pick his little sister.

Arrived at the parking lot, Song Tian walked to the cake shop. He can see his sister and Su Wen sat there.

Song Xia waved her hand to her brother, "Brother, here! Here!" she said.

Song Tian sat beside Song Xia, smiled, "Look at you, we just ate one not long ago, and you already here to eat them again," he said.

Song Xia giggled, "I can't help, it's so delicious. I'm glad Sister Wen come with me. It'd be awkward if I were alone," she said.

Song Tian smiled, "Do you want to order again? How about you, Su Wen?" he asked.

Su Wen smiled embarrassingly, "Just before you came, we've already ordered more cakes. Now we're waiting for it," she said.

Song Tian was speechless, he ordered one for him and another for his family at home.

Song Xia looked at her brother curiously, "Brother, did you buy one for me too?" she asked.

Song Tian laughed, "Of course if I left your portion. You would ignore me for a day," he said.

Song Xia giggled, "Brother is the best," she said.

Song Tian then looked at Su Wen, smiled apologetically, "Sorry if my sister troubling you," he said.

Su Wen smiled, "It's fine, I'm the one who asked her to come here with me anyway," she said.

Song Tian asked, "Is there any boy coming to approach my sister?" he said.

Song Tian might not look like it, but he's really overprotective when it came to his siblings.

There's even one college guy trying to approach his little sister back then in her middle school, and that guy ended up with both his shoulders dislocated.

Ever since then, no one's even dares to approach his little sister.

Su Wen laughed, "Don't worry, there are two of them. But your little sister didn't even bother with them, and they've left not long after. Probably feeling awkward for being ignored," she said.

Song Tian relieved to hear that.

Song Xia looked at his brother, "Don't worry brother, I can take care of that. If I left it to you, you might be doing too much to them," she said.

Su Wen shocked heard what Song Xia said since she didn't know what Song Tian would do to the guys who approached Song Xia a moment ago.

After all of them finished with their activities at the cake shop, Song Tian looked at Su Wen, "Where is your home? Do you want me to take you there?" he said.

Su Wen smiled, "Don't worry, I already called my driver to pick me up," she said.

Song Tian nodded, "Alright, see you soon," he said as he bid farewell to Su Wen.

Song Xia waved her hand, "Bye, sister!" she said.

Arrived at home, Song Tian handed the cakes to Song Xue and headed straight to his bedroom.

Turning on his PC, Song Tian starting to look for the plants and greenhouse related guide.
