1 Intro/Chapter 1: The Lone Wolf

The Man on the Lake Prologue

"Sing to me...the song of the stars" a whisper to my ear, on memories I don't remember.

"Huh?" I said, as I fall asleep again? I just sigh and look at my blonde hair and green eyes in the mirror. I run away from my glamourous home, because I want to prove to dad, I am capable of myself, without all his money... No, I am here to find someone... That man, I was enamored with. It was a year ago. He was riding his big bike as he takes my handbag from a thief. He accidentally drop a picture. I never knew his face, until I saw the picture. The deep Blue eyes, pale-ish skin, he was handsome, very handsome... I want to return this. He is the near the Astral Singer Steel Manufacturing Company.

I stand up and stretch my body... Here in Banff,Canada. The view was always breathtaking, the lake, the mountains and rivers...But I must keep going. I look at my fake I.D. Card, with make fake name, Shane Green. I'm a 24 year old New Yorker, who left home to pursue this handsome fella.

I wear my pink t-shirt and green jeans. I must move. I hitched a ride with an old couple. "Are you going to Alberta?" I asked. "Yes dear... Want to join us?" asked the old lady, probably in her 50's. "So, what a pretty, pretty lady like you travelling alone,eh?" asked the Oldman. "Probably, visiting Alberta... That place looks nice..." I said. "Oh... Alberta is nice... Especially our place in Jasper!" said by the woman. I was fascinated of this Person, named David. David V. Star II, written at the back of the picture.

Then we arrived at Jasper few hours later. "Thank you!" said to them. I arrived in the streets. What a lovely town with a mountain view. I go to a nearby inn. "Good morning, nice day for hiking, eh? Hue, hue!" said by the innkeeper. He looks kinda... extra happy, Kinda cute and muscle-y as he rubs his brown hair. For some unknown reason, I feel irritated near him and his rare amber eyes too.

I drop a picture on my bag accidentally. He picks it. "Oh! David?" asked him. "You know this guy?" I asked. "Well, his a celebrity... He lives near Lake Patricia. He's quite a handsome fella, even I can say, Nohomo...Well, he is but...ordinary." replied by him. "Okay...Can I go to the mountains?" I persuaded. "Yeah... sure. He's the acting sheriff anyways... so, you are, safe." Replied him as he looks at me from head to toe. "You are quite a pretty lady... do I know you?" asked him.

"Uhm, thanks, but,uhm...I need a room, for one person..." I said to him. He gives me a key. I give him a credit card. He swipes it. The denying bleep echoes the lobby. "Oof...Sorry miss, denied." This is embarrassing... I dashed outside. I have read camping materials before anyways. Now, I end up in a crystal clear lake in the mountain sides. It was cold... But I am lucky it was summer right now, or I will freeze to death. Achoo! Still it's colder though. I kinda stink too.. Lucky, there is a lake nearby. Lucky me. I remove my clothes and bathe in the lake. It' was cold, but I feel clean. How wonderful the moon is. Like a lovely ghost, floating in the sky, leaving trails of stars. I look back. I see a muscular pale man, 10 feet away. The very short Black hair, the nicely alluring short beard, he is gorgeous.

Wait... He is naked... I am naked.. I can feel the blood pumping unto my veins, as the man looks at me in his sapphire blue eyes. He looked away. I turn away. "Sorry, I didn't see you..." said by him. I just heard a loud splashing sound. It piqued my curiosity so I look back. He was gone.I look at the Moon as I see the Naked man's muscular body. He landed on the forest. Am I dreaming?

Chapter 1: The Lone Wolf

1.) It was morning and It's chilly, I crawl out my sleeping bag, this sucks. I miss my soft bed. I miss my rich, princess life. No! I am here to prove dad... I am... What really am I proving? I am just too curious for that guy in the lake and this David dude! Oh Shane...Shane...Shane. I can barely see his face, but his eyes, the moonlight striking it. He is quite handsome. I stand up and pack my things, That David guy seems to be a sheriff of some sorts. Maybe, If I wonder around... I would see him... He's here somewhere...

2.) I started to wonder, and look at the beauty of the wilderness. This trail is a reserve park, It was a lush beautiful town of lakes and forests, I was lucky that they don't have predatory animals here or somewhere. It was just few miles away from a town! Oh! A cabin! There is a lumberjack in his typical Red Plaid Long sleeved shirt.

3.) "Hello! Good Morning!" I said. He faces me. Wait. I look at the picture , and look at him. "You are that David guy?" I asked. He looked shocked. He blushes as he turns away. He has some gorgeous wild looking short beard and Deep Sapphire Blue eyes! Wait! I have been up all night fantasizing about that naked man on the lake! He is somewhat intimidating, in a hot way... like, he will eat your soul. Gobble,gobble. Rawr.

4.) You! It was you yesterday?!" I shouted as I go in front of him. He looks very handsome the closer and closer you look.. He was pale-ish, but he was also quite Red. Though with blushing red ears and cheeks. "Hey, you don't remember me don't you? We accidentally bathe together yesterday! Also, last year... you, kinda... Save my handbag and Pooch-pooch inside..." I said.

5.) He was avoiding my gaze as he and says, "Go away..." in a deep manly voice. I sigh. "Okay..." I replied. He looks at me. Is he... going to gobble my soul now? He looks like he wants to say something, but something holds him back. I look a little further, the lake hare is connected to the other lake I swam yesterday. "Dude! I swam in that place yesterday! I am naked because, I thought I was alone!" I said. This guy sighs again as he puts down his axe. The radio starts to speak up.

6.) "Sheriff... We got another missing case, it is near the Inn..." said by someone on the radio. He speaks to it. "Sheriff David reporting, I'll go there, give me a sec!" said by him. He really is David! He takes a bag as he sprints and jump very, very, very high. Amazing! He really is some sort of superhuman or something. I walk down to the village. It was few miles away. I see David in his in a Red Sheriff uniform near the Inn, listing notes. He was with a Chinese looking guy with an Orange sheriff uniform. I notice the others, have a certain set of uniform.

7.) Why is he wearing a red Sheriff uniform? Look like a cross between a Mountie's uniform with Police pants. Kinda cool looking, he has a tall-muscle type physique, where his uniform is tucked in, making him... yum. Wait! Why is he here on the village?! David sees me. I wave at him. His deputy sheriff friends look like they are teasing him. He punched one in the shoulder, tossing him 10 feet away. "Aw! Chief!" shouted by him. The Orange uniformed Asian guy goes to him. They are talking about a metal ball of some sorts. It started to ring. They look alarmed as David looks at me again. I wink at him. He faces away. The orange uniformed guy goes back inside a car and drives away. The Inn Keeper was listening to his headset as he punches David softly in the Shoulder. They are talking about something.

8.) A Lady in her early fifties looks at me. "Dear, I'm sorry.... But you look, vaguely familiar." She said. David looks at us. "Oh my goodness! Baby Boy! It's your childhood sweetheart!" said by her as she hugs me. Uhm, what? She looks at my face, "Wow! You are very,very pretty! Dabby! Dabby! Look! It's Shane! Oh please, forgive Dabby, he's quite shy!" she said. "I'm so sorry, but...I can't remember you..." I said. Uhm, again. What? I don't remember...This Place. "Oh Shane Victoria Drazel... It's me! Selena Villalobos. I'm your neighbor when you are about 4, I think... Dabby was 5 that time and that... who is that other boy?Anyways! Your mother, Victoria was a friend of mines... You should come with us!" said Selena

9.) We walk few meters away. "Welcome dearest! This is my house..." she said. It was a lovely house with three floors. "You grow up so pretty! I can't believe it! You got your mother's eyes and Jonas-boi's eyes!" she said. We go inside. It was a lovely warm, cabin-like house. There is a Picture of David's dad...I presume. He looks a lot like his dad but his dad has gray eyes and Black hair. It also looks like, he had an Older sister... Wait, This is looks like Dad's secretary, Rose Villalobos. "Oh! Rosey was working along with your dad... She's kind of your dad's protégé. Though, Rosey was managing... what was that Manufacturing company again?"

10.) David's dad was not around the other pictures in later years. Just a red-haired Teenage girl and a small boy along with Rose, this one must be her ex-husband kinda a burly-macho man with dark brown hair and green eyes. He looks like an army guy, then Selena, then a teenage girl and the boy and then David, Towering over them.

11.) David a very handsome guy, but he... never smiles. He either look serious or scary. A Motorbike seems to park outside. David goes inside. He goes inside the kitchen. "Dabby! Aren't you happy?! She's back! And She is more beautiful than ever!" said Selena. "Aun... Mom! I'm a little busy, I just need to, report another case like this..." said David in his Stern deep voice.Selena and I sat down in the couch. "Here! I have an album to show you!" said Selena. She opens toddler pictures of David. He was cute and very white. His eyes are very blue too. So cute, looks like he was very shy and about to cry. Hey, that's me in the far background.

12.) She lifts the page. It was me and him. He looks very shy. "You too used to play together... Look at your dad, Jonas... He was so young here..." said Selena as she goes to us. He puts French toast with marinara at the sides. "Dabby, she's your puppy love! Your childhood sweetheart! You cry your eyes for 3 whole months when she move to U.S.A. 20 years ago! Stay here for a while..." said Selena. David looks like he is frustrated and mad as he exhales and says "Fine." Softly. He sits down on the chair. "Wait... so we are, technically...Exes..." I asked.

13.) I look at David again. David avoids looking at me. "Oh come on! You even bathe together!" said Selena. "Mom!" said David. She knew! We actually , and accidentally, swam naked in the lake yesterday? I hid my face. "No! You two bathe together... Look at this!" said Selena as she opens a page in the album.

14.) Oh! It was a toddler me and David, naked David was fidgeting and flustered like a red tomato. She opens another page. Baby David was crying. And the Baby me was smiling , we are still both naked. "Shane just kissed Baby David's pee-pee to get out the bum-bum!" she says.I realized it, making everything...cringy! David and I screams in embarrassment and agony. David just jump off the ceiling, leaving a hole in the ceiling and the roof. "Dabby! I just fixed that two months ago!" shouted by her. Why is this guy, jumping around like some sort of human grasshopper.

15.) You two were too cute that time! David accidentally bumps on the ceiling floor, hurting his pee-pee. He cried and you say, Don't cry, I'll kiss that so bum-bum will goes away. Your Mother,and I was shocked and take the picture of it. David goes back inside, and looking, as if he turns 2 times paler.

16.) "Dabby! Come here! I never told her that you said, 'Where is your pee-pee, and he just touch her, vajay-jay out of curiosity and say, 'Yuck, moist!' That was so funny!" said Selena as she laughs. My inner screaming continues. I never knew, I have...Erotic tendencies... David sighs and gets his jacket and say, "I going! I can't take this anymore!" as he goes away, being flustered very much and literally steam coming out of his forehead. "You should stay for the night or two! Or maybe... FOREVER!" said by her. I don't want to, but, I got no choice. The woods is kind off cold and dangerous. I go inside a room, it has a soft sofa...making me snooze.

17.) Later that day, I unpack my things, in a room. It was very neat and tidy. I cover my face. "Dabby! You promised you will be staying home!" said Selena. "Ma, I am still investigating dozens of missing people! Wanted criminals mostly..." said David. "Your dear old mom needs to go back to Montreal, your Uncle Bernard just called me...So guard the house! And this lady! I like her already! So, DON'T MESS UP!" warned Selena. "Ugh!" said David as he looks uncomfortable. Selene Punches him. "I basically raise you dummy! Also, I have a guest... Treat her well, OR ELSE!" said Selena in an ominous tone. Imagine a 6'05" lumberjack-y sheriff, afraid of his mom.

18.) "You better protect this beauty!" said Selena. "Okay, mom...geez, no need to be violent..." replied David. "You have been in the woods so much, that you distance yourself from me... you always cry when you are little and hiding at my back, saying Mommy...What happened to my baby boy..."I smirked. David looks at me.

19.) "Seriously?!" exclaimed David. "Hey! What's wrong with me?! You barely speak up!" I said. Selena jumps a little and slap David's head. "Never be rude Dabby! Say sorry! I did not raise my cute baby boy to be rude!" shouted Selena. David sighs as he opens the window and jumps outside. "You better not avoid this again Dabby! Gee... When it comes to women he likes... he always avoid everything!" said Selena. Women...he likes... women...he likes...Huh? My heart beat starts to run faster.

20.) I sat down. I mean, he's, Physically impressive. We have an awkward childhood moments, which is basically. We are EXES. "You also kissed him before when he was crying...You said, I won't marry you someday if you kept crying" said Selena. That makes me explode in cuteness and say, "O past me, you have really delectable tastes on men!" Selena laughs as she adds, "You do! You know, may baby boy is so cute when he smiles, doing his resting face looks like he's going to eat someone's soul!"
