17 Chapter 16: Gifts

The reason Eny didn't want Pruno to know is that he would think of him as a monster if he ever knows he goes to Tartarus after he dies, and Eny doesn't want to be thought of as a monster. It makes him uncomfortable for some reason that he doesn't like, so no, he doesn't want to be called a monster. He was lost in thought and only woke up from it when Deino, Persis, and Pemphredo all said at the same time: "We've arrived at your destination. I will be 3 Drachmas." All their voices were full of poison and anger, Eny just smiled and gave them 3 Golden Drachmas before leaving the taxi, he turned around and said: "Stay here, when I'm back, I will wish to go back from where I started, I still have places to be and drachmas to spend."

The only eye that Pemphredo had in her face shone with greed as he mentioned more money, she just nodded her head and stood there, Eny finally moved his head and stared at the building, it looked like a normal bank, but above it had the sing [Transactions], but it had a bit of Mist above that sign so no mortal could see the [Transactions: Mortal and Immortal], above the sign there was also the symbol of Hades to show that this bank was his.

Holding close the bag with mortal money, Eny separated what he would take and began to use [Skill] Mist Control to create an illusion to mortals so they wouldn't see the kid, but a tall adult wearing a tuxedo and carrying a suitcase, he walked forward and climbed the stairs to enter the bank. He slowly walked forward so as not to catch anyone's attention, why would someone run to a bank? As soon as he entered the place, he saw a sign showing the exchange from Dollar to Drachma:

1 Dollar = 1 Copper Drachma

10 Dollars = 1 Silver Drachma

100 Dollars = 1 Golden Drachma

He frowned, he didn't know the exact price for Ambrosia and Nectar or any magical item that he wanted to buy, like an extra Celestial Bronze sword! He looked at the only receptionist everyone seemed to ignore and walked up towards her, he politely caught her attention and soon saw the feathers under her arms as she wore her formal black sleeveless dress. A Harpy, Eny avoided her eyes and said politely: "Hello, I would like to exchange dollars for Drachmas. This quantity, 60 Golden Drachmas, 5 Silver Drachmas, and 3 Copper Drachmas, please." The woman took the money Eny placed on the counter and smiled politely saying: "Right away sir, please wait for a few seconds." As she went back, Eny began to plan a possible scenario if she attacks him, the mist would change the vision of the mortals that would probably see him hitting a harmless woman but he doesn't care.

He is just getting ready if she attacks him, he doesn't trust her like he doesn't trust anyone he first meets.

"Here you go sir, please always come back to Hades Transactions: Mortal and Immortal." Eny took the money and quickly left, he had now 60 Golden Drachmas, 5 Silver Drachmas, and 3 Copper Drachmas. He has 4,000 Dollars left because he is also going shopping with Pruno soon as he promised him once. He soon entered the Grey Taxi also known as Carriage of Damnation and gave them his ext destination: "Take me to the nearest place that sells Ambrosia and Nectar that isn't Olympus." The three sisters eyed each other for a second, even though only one had the eye, and sighed before driving.

They began driving and soon he arrived at his destination. this taxi drove like the Knight Bus of the Harry Potter Universe, between cars and other ways of locomotion, going a straight line towards its destination, going through even buildings as the vehicle and those inside phased through everything, damn, the taxi could even go through water!

Eny got out and gave the same warning after paying the sisters another 4 Golden Drachmas, with 56 now he entered the shop he was taken to. It was a small shop squeezed between two skyscrapers in the middle of Washington, D.C. Eny looked at the mortals ignoring it, and entered the shop, he soon frowned as he smelt monster inside the shop and a creepy voice greeted him: "Welcome~ How can I help you, little Demigod?" He looked at the old Cyclops that was looking at him with his mouth-watering as if he was ready to eat him. Eny smirked and the Cyclops froze when he felt something piercing his heart, he looked down to see the scorpion tail going through his stomach and felt the poison on his body.

Eny looked at the now-dead Cyclops and shrugged, he wanted to eat him, so he should be ready to be eaten too... Although this one looks like it has some sort of disease or something, so he won't eat him. Eny sighed and looked around... Well, this place was full of strange things here and there, they looked magical as well, so he might take them once he knows they are 100% safe. For now, he will take the Ambrosia and Nectar... But someone might come in here and take everything, so he should take what he can with him and then see if they are dangerous. He hasn't died today yet, so he can be reborn once, and his body will regenerate too. This sounds so masochistic.

Eny searched for a while and found interesting things, lucky for him the items had a nametag with price... And the price was peculiar.

[Leprechaun Shoes: These beauties are amazing, they can fit any feet, never get cold, never get dirty, and they make you able to walk on walls!]

[Price: A Human Liver or 50 Golden Drachmas]

[Hunting Daggers: These daggers are nasty, they can kill a lot of monsters easily, they are also very sharp, one of Hephaestus works, don't ask me how I got it.]

[Price: Demigod's Heart or 100 Golden Drachmas and 15 Silver Drachmas]

[Nectar (10 Bottles): They taste like what you love the most, don't drink it too much or else you will get hot.]

[Ambrosia (10 Bags): They taste like your favorite thing and heal you, don't eat too much, or else you burn.]

[Price: Demigod Liver or 9 Golden Drachmas]

[Price: 10 Humans eyes, 35 Golden Drachmas, 14 Silver Drachmas, and 3 Copper Drachmas]

Eny continued to look through the items and found interesting things, so he took them with him. Can't leave them here, can he? He found some cursed items that he left behind, he doesn't want to be cursed, so he left them behind. He entered the Gray Sister's taxi with a bag full of items that he got, he smiled and said: "Take me to where I was at the begging of the afternoon." The Gray Sisters did not say anything but drove him there, he smiled at them and gave them the same 3 Golden Drachmas.

Now he has 53 Golden Drachmas, 5 Silver, and 3 Copper.

He took fly with the new things he had, it was time for them to settle down for a little while as he looks through the things he borough, of course, it was not too many things because he still wants to go around the country hinting monsters to eat them.

Now... Which gift should he give to Pruno?
