16 Chapter 15: Grandmother?

"How much of a percentage would it be? 50%? 60%? 70%?" Eny began with the big numbers, he doesn't get a free ride because nothing never it's free and they may try to fool him if he makes them give him free rides, like leading him to a place he doesn't want to be. The grey sisters, Deino (Anger) was the one to hit her sister's head and make the eye fall out, Pemphredo (Wasp) was the one being hit and losing the eye, while Persis (Tempest) just watched in wonder until they lost the eye. The last time a Demigod got their tooth it wasn't good, now another Demigod got their eye as well! This is certainly bad. "70%!? SURE! But give me back the eye!" Eny, however, clicked his tongue and said: "Swear on the river Styx." Soon all the sisters stopped bickering and were between a rock and a hard place, or rather, between Scylla and Charybdis.

Eny smirked and decided to take advantage of this situation, saying: "I, Enychta Astérie, swear by the River Styx that I will give back the eye as soon as the three sisters make an oath in the name of the Styx giving me 70% in ALL of their services, promising never trick me in any way, shape, or form, forever and always. And so shall it be." Giving a little flutter to the oath was cool, but the meaning of this oath was truly terrifying to the Gray Sisters! If they did not swear on the River Styx he could keep the eye, and if they did not swear to give him 70% and follow the instruction he made in the oath, they would not meet the requirements to have him give them their eye back, because they did not meet the requirements to complete the oath.

Deino slammed her arm on the window of the car, which did not break but did crack, Pemphredo sighed and nodded, saying: "Let's take the oath, sisters. It's better than search for the eye for centuries like last time..." The mere memory made them all shiver in fear, Perseus threw their eye in that lake, the eye was eaten by a fish, the fish was fished by a fisherman, sold on the market, taken away by a peasant that found the eye, threw away the eye in disgust, the eye was on the other side of Greece and they had to walk aimlessly for centuries before someone helped them. "I agree, we should take the oath." Said Persis with a knowing frown, Deino sighed and soon all three sisters swore in unison: "We, the Gray Sisters, swear on the River Styx to give Enychta Astérie 70% of discount in all of our services, and to never trick him in any way, shape, or form. Forever and always..."

Their words soon ended with a flash of lightning and thunder, giving a more dramatic feeling than Eny's dramatic 'And so shall it be'...

"Now boy, give us the eye!" Shouted an angry Deino making Eny smile and throw the eye right into her socket, making her groan in pain and blink as she felt the eye on her face. "YES! The eye's mine!" But before she could do anything, Pemphredo sighed and took the eye out of her socket, because she was driving and needed to see. "Give me that. I am driving. Now, what was I saying before all of this happen...? Ah, yes. Get in, we will take you to the place." Eny opened the door of the back of the taxi and sat down, get the surveyor belt on so he wouldn't die, not that he could after he discovered what happens when he dies. The Minotaur killing him was a blessing in disguise because he learned the reason he is a Dark Chimera...

He is a legacy of Echidna.

How does he know that? Well, he saw it. When he died, he was brought to Tartarus as every single monster is when they die and met Echidna and their conversation was not good as Typhoon kinda blew it... Literally.

-Flashback-

Eny gasped for air, he could still feel the pain of being bisected by the giant ax of the Minotaur, he touched his chest to ser thy he was translucent... Like golden dust forming a spectral body that was him. He looked around and although he could feel nothing, he felt a calling, something wanting him near. He turned his head around and saw a woman with snake green skin and scales in her body, her legs were gone and her snake lower half was so long he could not see the end of it... "Oh?" The woman looked down at Eny, who suddenly felt a hand grabbing him, he looked down just to see one of the woman's hands holding him carefully like a human holds a baby kitten. "Oh... Another son? But I do not remember giving birth to you, tell me, Demigod, how are you- Oh, I remember now." The woman's mouth unhinged as she smiled creepily, all of her rows and rows of black teeth expanded as she cackled in delight.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA" Her hysterical echoed through the darkness of Tartarus. "I never knew that it would work! It was a great idea to rape that man and giving birth to a human child and wait for generations, just to have this abomination in my hands! I am truly the mother of monsters! And now, I have the most horrendous elimination to my list of creations! A Monster Demigod hybrid!" Eny felt uncomfortable as her hold tightened, but due to her words, he knew why his Lycanthrope form mutated into a Dark Chimera and why he can integrate monsters into his body. He is a Legacy of Echidna, the mother of all monsters and the wife of Typhoon.

As if by just thinking of that name, a very deep voice echoed through: "Echidna... Why are you laughing!?" The voice was male, soon accompanied by a gigantic eldritch-horror-like entity, the unmistakable Typhoon! "WHO IS THIS CHILD!?" Shouted Typhoon, Eny didn't know why but this felt like a Mexican Novella right now, the drama could be tasted in the air. Typhoon, the Father of Monsters finds Echidna, the Mother of Monsters, with a child that is hers but not his... He of course will think of cheating. He raised his gigantic arm and brought it down towards Eny, but before it could hit him, he vanished as his time down on Tartarus was done and he found himself back at the World of Above, his body was regenerating, and his cut halves had been reattached.

His flesh and muscle closed his wounds as he felt tired, it was taking his stamina to heal.

[Legacy or Echidna]

For being the Legacy of the Mother of Monsters, you get this boon. It also comes with a flaw!

Boon: [Rebirth from Tartarus]

Flaw: [Family comes First]

[Rebirth from Tartarus]: When you die, your soul is transported to Tartarus while your body regenerates, when your body is fully regenerated or regenerated enough for you, you are sent back.

This boon activates automatically after death and it has a cooldown of once per day.

[Family comes First]: You will do anything for your family, those you consider your family is your priority! They need to be protected by you, and you shall be protected by them.

Family sticks together, and if one of them may want to leave it will be hard to let go, and you have a hard time letting them live their own life or have their privacy... You are sticky to your family.
