11 Chapter 10: Fateful Meeting

The child ran, he has been praying to his father to help him but his prayers were unanswered as he felt pain in his left leg as the pincer of the Giant Scorpion hit him. He cried out in pain and dodged another pincer as the second Giant Scorpion jumped towards him. He felt pain as the tail hit his back and he was launched forward, successfully able to roll and get up and start running again. He was very fast, supernaturally fast some would say, but because he could not control his gift he did not know how to run faster. Soon he also saw it, three Hellhounds were running after him, they were big... Bigger than a pickup truck, and they were fast and we're getting faster and faster, the boy kept running as his feet blurred with afterimages of lower moving half.

He was panting for air as his lungs were hurting badly, he was poisoned by the Giant Scorpion as well, so he was getting more and more tired as time went on. He once again desperately tried to call for his father's help, Hermes, God of Traveler and Thieves, but he did not answer. He was weak for he lost too much blood and he would need a transfusion, that would be the case if he was a mortal. But because he is a Demigod, all he will need is Ambrosia and Nectar. Lots of It... What had happened was that Eny was observing the boy run, soon he noticed how fast the boy was and although he had read the books, he did not remember.

You see, fast adaptation to reincarnation makes you see your memories like a movie, as soon as you regain your consciousness, you see both your memories of your past life and current life, which makes you not feel much about it. So as soon as Eny saw the boy and recognized him, he thought it would be for the best if he could change his fate, and what better opportunity than to let him die here? Oh well, his 'little brother' could not have it, he saw the boy that was his age and he pointed his arms towards him, soon a vine came from the earth and grappled Luke's body, pulling him towards both Eny and Pruno. As soon as they were far enough from the ground, the monsters arrived at the place they were seconds ago. Eny was alert, he was suspicious there would be some Harpies and he wants to eat chicken today! His nose picked the scent of Harpies and he warned Pruno by saying: "Pruno, flying chickens are near."

Pruno made his meanest face, which was adorable, but he thought it looked scary. Enyctha couldn't help but laugh at that face as his arms turned into two Harpy wings as he flapped them together with his bat wings, of course, he did not drop Luke, he was placed in the same net that Pruno was in, Eny just had to use his thread and wrap him in a thick thread and slowly held him down to Pruno who got him on the U net dangling from Eny's feet. It was not heavy as Eny could carry way heavier stuff, so he flew till he could no longer smell any monster. He landed in a small forest and to be sure, changed his facial features into his Lycanthrope to smell better. His nose caught no scent other than animals and theirs, he soon began the treatment of Luke who was now stable and would not die.

He estimated he would need a week to fully heal the boy if he constantly used his healing. it would take 5 days with Ambrosia, and 4 days with Ambrosia and Nectar. Ambrosia and Nectar enchant each other's healing properties if used together! But healing magic it is.
