4 03: Meal

The howls of the Hellhounds grew stronger as time passed, soon they became impatient and decided to enter the sewers, the leader went first followed by his smaller but equally too big to the walls of this sewer, had to squeeze to move. With his huge body pressed against the walls of the sewer, the hellhound could not escape easily. So, what would it do? It would try to Shadow Travel, but before he could, a bite was received on its throat.

Then came the scent of lavender, and below, on the Hellhound's throat was a small, wolf-like child. This was Astéri Enychta or Eny for short, he just now activated his [Night Beast Form], which was a Lycanthrope. His muscles bulged unnaturally as his teeth and nails grew strongly, they were also magical, which meant they had the same properties as Celestial Bronze and could also damage immortals and mortals alike. His skin was covered in dark, black fur for stealth, his eyes were purple, his teeth were shining white that could blind anyone that looked directly at it. Then the tail, he had a strange different tail... it was somewhat scaly, and long, curving... Almost like a scorpion tail. It was at that moment the Hellhound noticed something else, the creature had wings and a second mouth, just below his maw was a smaller mouth, which was smiling as a black liquid dripped from it.

This was Eny's night beast form, a Dark Chimera. Enychta is the son of Nyx, Nyx is a Primordial Goddess, just like Gaia is, Typhoon is Gaia's creation, Cerberus is Echidna's children together with the Chimera and Nemean Lion with Typhoon... Typhoon is the son of a Primordial Goddess, so Eny can be considered a half-monster too, or a little bit monster because of his Primordial parent. The abilities he gets from this form are simply three:

As a Dark Chimera, your body naturally creates venom, which is very lethal to both monsters and Demigods, it also works on mortals! Albeit slower.

As a Dark Chimera and being part of Lycanthrope, Scorpion, Bat, and Viper, you can change between them at will (or fully transform) while in human form, however, it may make tired maintaining a form for too long, not while its night or when in full form.

The Hellhounds could not react when Eny suddenly used his scorpion sting to hit the left one while unhinging his smaller mouth, which turned out to be a viper mouth, spitting a black sphere of venom on the left one's face and eyes, the venom had a slight acidic property which burned the flesh of the left one, burning its eyes also. With its throat hurt, the middle one tried to attack, but he was only met with ridicule as Eny began to trash and bite, faster and faster, tearing out the Hellhound's skin and flesh and eating it. The lycanthrope-like creature was moving faster and faster as its claws dug deeply into the Hellhound flesh and pulling out the tendons and eating. For some reason, the Hellhound was not turning into smoke and vanishing even after its heart was dug out and eaten by Eny. The other two Hellhounds were too weak, e venom acted fast and made them weak, and it was slowly killing them also because they were weak they couldn't Shadow Travel.

Now you may think how did Eny just kill three Hellhounds alone? Well, he didn't do it alone, the Servant Hellhound was there to help. What did he do? Distraction, he bit the back of the leader Hellhound that quickly tried to attack what bit him, which made the other two look behind, giving Eny enough time to get out of his hiding spot and bit the middle Hellhound, the leader. With the leader unable to use his throat as Eny bit the place where the vocal cords should be it didn't work but made the leader howl loudly in pain, which stunned the other two for a second, then he would react a second later, also the pain spell stunned them and Eny bit him more than one time, he only felt the last because the pain faded at that moment. Not only did he bit, but he also applied venom to him and the other two Hellhounds, they just didn't felt the sting of his scorpion tail.

Now, as Eny bit the Hellhound, he started to enjoy the feeling of cutting the creature's flesh and bone, which made him ignore his previously weak state and attack faster as adrenaline rushed through his veins, he laughed internally as his claws and teeth tore the flesh of the Hellhound's body and eating it borough energy for him. He also ate the heart, and when eating it, his proficiency on [Night Beast Stomach] grew up to [5%], followed by [Night Beast Natural Weapons], [Night Beast Brutality], [Night Camouflage], [Dark Chimera Venom], [Dark Chimera Forms], and [Dark Chimera Flight] all received 0,5% of Proficiency.

As for what happened after he ate the Hellhound's heart? Nothing. He just got his belly full.
