Prologue

Six million years ago, the Universe changed. Aether energy from the countless stars and planets was gathered together and compressed. Slowly, for nearly 6 million years, the Aether condensed into the figure of a human infant. Energy from the stars gathered together in a splendid array of colors that faded into a candescent frost white and united with the body. Throughout the process, the light emanating from the baby refused to fade. Even the Cosmos marveled at her creation. Back on Earth, people began to notice this shimmering glow and called it the North star, as it shone brightest in the night sky.

Eventually, the light withdrew, and the creation was complete. The boy was released from the core and set on a course towards Earth. If anyone happened to look up at the night sky at that moment, they would have noticed the lone shooting star traversing it. The boy would only be found nearly 3 months after his birth and picked up to be raised by a man, his wife, and their unborn daughter.
