9 Cards on the Table

A few weeks passed and 2 things became annoyingly clear. 1: don't mess with the ship Captain, and 2: the bigger group always eats first...unless you happen to be a son of the big three. Zeus, Posideon, and Hades. And guess what, the lucky guy just happened to be surprise-surprise Rick! yay right? No. You see, I wouldn't mind eating last but with the crazy training they make us do I would expect, no I want great food to be a reward. Is that too much to ask huh? So here we are. The last group since were the smallest eating what looks to be leftover fish sticks.More mashed then mashed potatoes are supposed to be and a really really oily gravy. Gods have mercy.

Not gonna lie a few times abandoning ship looked really good....like really really good.like soooo good but...okay listen here. I'm not a quitter and.... I can't swim so yeah there's that. Well to be honest I never even touched water except maybe to take a shower haha. So yeah im a veteran in the water yup.

"Attention all students at Camp Gai, as You may know the war is getting more intense as the days go by. We have reason to believe the north army has been totally wiped out. I ask all children of Zeus and Dioneses to step into the war tent to discuss battle plans we have 64 hours till we come under fire. Thank you, that is all". The captain sat back down to eat but eating was the last thing on are minds. I looked around and saw a few people arguing and getting riled up.

"Well be right back, don't wait for us". Stirr and James got up to leave james leading ahead. I wasn't even paying attention to be honest. What I'm thinking Is Im in one big shit hole. Im pretty sure no one can become war ready in 5 weeks. I mean I'm getting a little toned and my arms are a little more appealing but that's about it. Vin's mouth was moving but I wasn't here to listen. "Wait what?" Vin went on. "I said when the war starts do you want to team up with me. Most lower rank demigods team up to stay alive, plus I'm in the healing group so we don't see much war".

Wow that actually sounds a lot better I'd have to say. I think Vin is my new favorite friend. "That sounds awesome! What I'm I gonna be doing, I don't have healing powers? do I". Hoping he saw something I didn't see. He scratched his chin thinking it over. "Hmm well want to check right now? There is a way to see but I gonna warn you it will certainly hurt haha". I got up excited to see what he had in store. "Times of the essence mate, right now sounds like a great idea". He smiled and grabbed my shoulder. "Well let's get to it aye".

When I assumed how this um test was gonna go down I uhhh thought something a little more exciting was about to happen. So when we went into a room and sat down with a small Razer...let's just say I expected a little more.

"Okay so this is how it works there's 3 type of healers. 1 is automatically there. They don't need to do anything to heal. This is the ideal healing and the most wanted. The 2nd is a bit weirder in which you have to command when you want healing, that's where I fall in the healing spectrum. For example I can choose how much is healed and if I want to save power so healing doesn't take it all away just to fix my body. Anyway the last is a last resort and is the worse by far.

When your in danger and it's a life and death situation your body heals its self but only once. Kinda like a respawn or refresh. But its really bad because sometimes it doesn't work. Well enough talk let's get to it right". "Wait so what you saying is there's even ranking amongst the healers?". he grabbed my hand getting ready to cut me " you know I never thought of it that way...but yeah pretty much I guess. Sucks for people who don't have powerful parents haha". I frowned. "Thats not funny."
