9 9 Trouble

Zhirou, Eril, and Enel made their way to the royal family's feast room. Enel also change into an all black robe with golden linings like his hooded puppet; speaking of it he was still accompanied by the two.

After a time it takes an incense stick to burn, they finally arrived at the dinner place. In that place, there was a long dinner table that can fit around fifty people. The table was filled with different meals fit for the Gods. If a mortal ate any of the dishes served, they will surely have an increase in cultivation. Also, Gods don't really need to eat but if they do, there are two reasons; they eat for pleasure, or they just can't remove that from their life when they were still a mortal.

It seems they were not the first to arrive in that place. In the table, five seats were already taken. A man in blue robes and four girls can be seen seating while flirting. The man was good looking, but compared to Enel, it was nothing. He was surrounded by the four beautiful girls, two to each side, if similarly compared to Eril, they were heaven and earth. Comparing them to Enel and Eril was really unfair from the start, because those two were on a whole another level.

They then sat on the table, with Zhirou being in the left most corner closes to where the seat of the emperor is located; to her right, was Enel, and to his right was Eril. Eril wasn't sure where to sit so she just followed them.

Zhirou then greeted the man on the opposite of the table, with a smile that was also not a smile, as if she was reprimanding him:"Eros my son, it seems you are really busy taking care of your wives that you didn't even notice us." Eros was the second prince. He was also the only married prince; having four wives, he was clearly a womanizer.

"Mother, of course I took good care of them. I noticed you way before you even came here in the room. With my little brother's innate body, I would notice him even if he was outside of the palace hahaha. I just waited for you to get seated so that we can talk properly." Eros commented. "Greetings to you mother and my little bro. ohhhhhh who's this fairy?" Eros added after noticing Eril.

When Eros saw Eril, he can't help but admire her beauty, her wives was nothing compared to this silver haired fairy. He can't help but have thoughts towards her.

Zhirou, seeing him like that, decided to put him back to his place:" This is your future sister in law. So restrain yourself, this is your older brother's future wife"

"Damn that lucky bastard" Eros then jealously commented.

The topic of the conversation, just sat there coldly, as if she didn't hear anything.

Enel on the other hand, greeted his brother and his brother's wives with a bow and then stayed quiet. Though he has no experience in this kind of topic,

Enel understand his second brother; Eril was really cute just like beibei, he really wanted to pinch her cheeks, his brother must have felt the same way.

Afterwards, the two just sat there in their own world. They were like a pair, if someone doesn't know them and then met them for the first time, they would think that they were husband and wife.

"Greetings to mother" Eros' wives uniformly said with respect. They then turned to Enel: "Greetings to our cute little brother hehe." They greeted Enel with a smile. It was really obvious that they were fond of their little brother.

Though Zhi Rou didn't like the idea of having multiple wives, she doesn't hate her daughter in laws. Those poor girls were only victims of his philandering son. And she can see that those girls really loved her son. That's why, she easily came to terms with them. It can also be said that she and them had a very good relationship. She then respond in a sweet lecturing voice with a playful tone:" You four, aii as his wives you must restrain him properly, so that he don't go and get more girls, alright ? Tsk tsk."

The four girls seeing their mother in law like that made a come back: "Don't worry mom, we clearly restrain Eros hehe; we restrain him in bed and tire him out so that he won't have the energy to find more girls hehe." That was also said in a playful tone.

"Aiiiii youuu four! this philandering son clearly corrupted you!" Zhirou commented.

A voice then suddenly rang out across from the entrance, clearly amused: "HAHAHAHA! Zhirou how about you also tiring me? You don't know, I might go out and also find some beauties!." From the entrance, Hao and Eto stood. Hao was laughing while Eto was just staring at Eril sitting besides his little brother, a frown in his face.

"You shameless! Hmph, try it if you dare, let's see what will happen. You, Eto, don't be like your younger brother and wrong Eril ok" Zhi Rou retorted and warned.

Of course Hao was only joking, he was too loyal, and most of all, he hates seeing his wife being wronged. Hao then sat at the grandest chair near his wife, while Eto sat besides Eril.

"Don't worry mother, with my Fiancée's beauty, I will be satisfied for a lifetime" Eto replied passionately, while looking at Eril. His eyes were shining as if he was was looking at the most precious thing in the universe.

Since Enel was besides her, he easily felt how she tensed up when his brother sat down besides her. "Weird" he said in his mind while his eye brows were creased.

As they were readying to eat, Hao suddenly spoke: "Before we eat, I have some serious matters to discuss with you all, regarding a recent problem in our domain." His face has a serious expression; the once joking vibe of him was gone.

All of them acknowledged him and began to listen.

"You all know that there has been abductions that happened over the past years in our domain right?" Hao stated.

All of them nodded and said: "yes."

All the people living in the capital probably knows of this. Thousands of people suddenly disappearing; the main targets were mostly young people with talent and solid cultivation base. The exact reason on how it happens is unknown. There is a common occurrence though, in all the abductions, people in the area where it happens says that there was a huge volume of fog on the day an abduction happens. Also, there have been witnesses who came up and said, that the culprits they saw were ghostly beings shrouded in fog, they grab a hold of their victim and then vanishes into the fog, after a while, the fog then disperse, along with the culprit and the victim. That's how it goes.

"Itseems the perpetrators are getting bolder and bolder!" Hao angrily yelled.

All of them had an inquiring look on their face when Hao said that. Then, Eto spoke out for all of them:

"What do you mean father?"

"They changed their methods, instead of abducting, they are now murdering their victims, furthermore, all of their targets now are powerful high-ranking officials and nobles of our empire. They even managed to kill Liam, the general of the 7th legion" Hao explained

Hao then added, obviously frustrated:"We still don't know the reason and their motive for doing this. Heck we don't even know who they are!"

"Hmmm, maybe it truly is a doing of a ghost" Eros commented

"That's also our first conclusion, but ghosts emits a strong yin aura which can easily be detected by gods. Also, a ghost can never defeat a cultivator that has reached god stage. So we ruled that out." Hao retorted.

Enel, based on his outside appearance, looks like he didn't care about the problem at all, but that wasn't the case, he was a prince, so naturally he has a sense of duty for the well being of the citizens under their rule.

In his mind, he was already pondering about it. "What's their motive? To weaken the empire maybe? That's ridiculous, father said that there's no other power that comes close with us in this realm.....unless there is."

"Then how did they managed to remain undetected till now? Father's spiritual sense can easily cover the entire empire. They were probably using a special item or techniques to hide their cultivation and presence. Also, even if father can't sense the perpetrators he can sense the victim. He can use his spiritual sense to see any Erratic Qi of a cultivator that is at battle; the victims will at least put up a fight right? The only problem is there are probably millions of conflicts that is happening at any given time in this domain, however, he can easily recognize his own Generals Qi and presence, so why did he not?"

"Then, there's also the issue of suddenly vanishing with their victims. According to father, all the victims were found outside the capital, so they probably teleported themselves and their victim far away to avoid detection and ruckus." Enel has a bad feeling about this. The perpetrators were so prepared on this scheme of theirs. They must be planning this for a long time.

Anyhow, he still believes that those evil doers won't succeed on their act. With his father at the reign, they can easily destroy them with brute force if they reveal themselves.

Enel was so engrossed on what he was doing that he didn't notice that his father was asking for his opinion.

"Enel, Enel, your mind is wandering again." Haochen said it like it was a common occurrence.

By the time Enel notice, everyone is already looking at him. He then said: "I'm sorry father, I was lost in my thoughts, what was that again?"

"Your father asked for your opinion on what to do. He already asked your two brothers." Zhirou warmly said.

Enel thanked his mother for that and then spoke: "Since it was reported that it only happens when it's foggy, how about sending a warning to the citizens to be alert when there's a large volume of fog present, make an alert or signal that will tell them to be cautious and stay inside.

We can also send guards there if that happens. Also, we can distribute ghost warding talisman to the citizens, just in case our opponents are indeed ghost, we can never be to sure. Father, it seems to me that the culprits in all of this maybe planning this for a long time since they are so prepared. We must prepare and expect that some large thing will happen soon." Enel said his last two statement in a grave tone.

All the people in the room except for Eril, were a little surprise to see Enel serious and talking so much. Eril new here; she doesn't know much about him that's why she was not surprised.

Afterwards, Hao nodded. Hao always ask his three son's opinion when there's a problem, It's a preparation and training for the future.

He then concluded their discussion: " Hmmm alright then, I'll consider that. And lastly, you girls, be careful ok, the abduction did indeed stopped but it seems there are still some occasional reports that it happens, with the targets being beautiful female cultivators."

Eto suddenly grabbed Eril's hand from under the table while he passionately commented. " Don't worry father, I will not let anyone steal my wife away from me."

Eril on the other hand, immediately break away from his hold and put her hands from where he can't reach. Enel saw all of this from the periphery of his vision.

"What's wrong with you? Stop it! I'm not used to you being so passionate like that! It makes my stomach churn!" Eros said in a ridiculing tone while making an expression of vomiting.

"You!!!" Angrily yelled by Eto. He was already in a bad-mood after what Eril did.

Zhirou quickly reprimanded them before it escalate: "Stop bickering! Didn't I teach you two table manners! We're in the presence of food. I don't want my food to be filled with spits. Let's eat now, it's bad to keep the food waiting for so long. Also, it's your younger brother's first time going on the underworld, let him tell his stories."

Zhirou then urge Enel to tell his adventures:"Enel would you kindly tell us your trip? Look, even your 4 sister in laws are interested"

Enel sighed he didn't want to, but after seeing his mother's and Sister in laws expecting gaze, he just couldn't say no.

Eril also looked at him at the corner of her eyes expectingly.

And with that, he told his adventures while they were having their dinner.
