6 6 World Gate

The Imperial capital of heaven; the city where the Gods that rules this realm mostly resides. It is currently ruled by the Odeus family.

The Imperial capital spans thousands of miles, and is shaped like a circle that has four zones, divided by four great golden walls. The outermost circle, is where the ordinary folks of the nine heavens resides, even though they were ordinary, they were still demigods and gods. Then, the third circle, is for the nobles and those who are an official in the empire. The fourth circle, belongs to the gods that has an important position in this realm, for example, Lushen, the god who is in charge of the world gate, he resides here. And lastly, the innermost circle is where the Odeus Family lives.

The same Lushen mentioned, can now be seen greeting the people standing in the platform of the world gate located in the second inner circle: "Welcome back third prince and Old Wu." Lushen greeted them with a bow facing Enel.

When they were teleported, Lushen looked at Enel's face, he also glanced at his eyes, his soul felt he was starring at the starry sky. It was as if it contained the whole universe there. He immediately avoided his eyes by bowing, before he was lost in it. He played it cool to avoid them finding out.

After that, Lushen added with a respectful tone: "Your mother told me to expect you third prince. How was your journey to the underworld if I may ask?"

Enel looked at Lushen. Like The other imperials, he was also wearing a golden armor, but the difference of design made it evident that this old man was a high ranking one.

"It went well. Thanks to you for transporting us." Enel replied.

"It's my duty third prince. I'm glad to be of use." Lushen humbly said. Then he continued asking "How about the transportation process, was there any problem?"

"There was no problem at all. This world gate sure is convenient. Can you tell me more about it." Enel answered and asked, an ignorant look in his face. Enel has no prior knowledge of the world gate. His father and mother didn't tell him that such a thing existed; afraid, that he would get curious and use it.

"Hmmm yes, it truly is a magnificent piece of artifact. You see prince, I'm sure you know, that a person from a lower world can ascend to a higher world if he has grown to powerful for his world right?" Lushen said and asked enthusiastically. It seems topics about the world gate interest him.

"Yes, I know that" Enel answered.

Lushen, hearing his answer, continued explaining: "And that a person from a higher world can't go down easily to a lower world. It requires artifacts, item or precious techniques" Enel nodded at Lushen.

"The world gate is one such artifact. It can provides access to lower worlds at the expense of Qi in the sorroundings. This artifact, is the one that allowed your father to rule all over thousands of mortal worlds, 50 immortal worlds, 25 divine worlds, and 9 heavens" Lushen said proudly with a smug look on his face, it was as if it was his own achievements.

"That many worlds!?" Enel said, surprised. At most, he thought there would only be 9 lower worlds, like the heavens having nine worlds. His eyes began to lit up. In his thoughts: "That many world to explore"

"So, how was it built? I want one" Enel asked, then boldly declared. Enel was spoiled from birth. Anything he asked will be given to him, except for going outside the imperial palace. It will be convenient if he can put one on Beibei's back.

"That....I don't know." Lushen commented.

"What do you mean? How come you don't know?" Enel asked curiously. How can a God who's so old, has no knowledge on how was it built. Lushen was alive before even the empire existed! He was one of the oldest god serving the empire.

"The world gate is an ancient artifact, It was here before even the empire was established. The founding emperor or your mother's grandfather was the one who found it, and it took him a millennium comprehending the world gate, just to understand how to use it." Lushen explained.

Enel's mouth was open after hearing all of that. "Something more ancient than the empire built it..." He thought.

Lushen, seeing his expression, let out a chuckle, his hand on his belly., It seems the emperor and the empress only taught cultivation to the third prince. Well, it was pretty understandable, in this world where strength reign supreme, one must get strong fast, then the rest can follow.

Lushen decided to tell what he knows more about the world gate. Teaching the third prince proved to be entertaining: "In order to operate the world gate, you need this sword." Lushen proceeds to take out a sword from his Interspatial ring. The sword he took out was different from any sword Enel ever saw; the sword's blade was not made of metal, it's more like a crystal glass. Inside the glass, there were myriad of colors moving about like an aurora, he was mesmerized by it. When Enel inspected the sword he noticed that it has a dull edge:" Hmm It's not probably for fighting" he thought.

Lushen continued to speak: "With this sword you can command the world gate to do your bidding. This sword is currently soul-bound to me. I'm Lushen the Gate keeper, getting this position proved to be difficult, I first had to prove my loyalty, then swear an oath to the heavens before I was given this position."

Qingyu hearing that the sword was soul-bound was slightly disappointed. His initial eagerness to know more subsides.

" How do you teleport someone" Qingyu continued to ask, still, with a slight thirst for knowledge.

"With the sword's command, as long as the user knows or have seen the location, they can teleport themselves or they can send a teleportation beam there and teleport a target from anywhere the user wants. That's why I require you first to use a mind-reading talisman, so that I can pinpoint your location, and see where you want to go by seeing your thoughts." Lushen did his best to answer his question after seeing disappointment on this good-looking boy's face. "Third prince that's all the information I know, You should get going now, the Empress is waiting." Lushen said. It wasn't a good idea to keep him here any longer, the empress might come.

Enel nodded and cupped his hands to show thanks, then said:" Thanks for sharing your knowledge Elder. I won't take more of your time, take care of me in the future. I should hurry now since mom is probably worried about me."

"It's my pleasure Third prince" Lushen bowed with his hands cupped.

Enel nodded, then began to fly toward the imperial palace followed by his three attendants .

Before he can leave, Lushen shared another information. He shouted:

"The world gate can also be used as an offensive weapon. Imagine, teleporting someone you hold a grudge with in a public bathhouse for strong female gods wahahahaha"

Enel hearing that, just shook his head. "he probably did it that's why he knows" he thought. He then continued his way towards the Imperial palace.
