Another Heiress

"Are you ready son?" Dad asked from behind while I was checking out my suit.

"Sadly yes" I sigh out.

"You and your two girlfriends have avoided gatherings like this ever since that one time you went to the annual youth devil gathering." dad said.

Ah yes, the annual youth devil gathering. I attended it once, only because I wanted to meet a few people, I didn't get to meet the people I wanted to meet and it was so boring so I went home even before halfway through the event and never went to attend another one ever since.

"I do hope you manage to stay until the end for this particular one" he continued.

"I can't say I will" I replied.

"If this is your reaction to an event like this, I'm glad me and your mother didn't send you to school" he said chuckling a bit.

I shiver at the thought of going to a high class devil school, all that ego and pride in one classroom. Ugh I would have gone insane during the first month there.

...

"Well you two looked absolutely dashing!" mom said as she made her way towards us. Dad just looked at her in awe as it was rare for her to dress up and I really can't blame him, she looked absolutely stunning.

"Ready?" she asked as both dad and I nodded and we teleported away.

'Damn this sucks' I thought bitterly as I waited for the arrival of Rias and Sona. I was standing on the far corners, mostly hidden as mom and dad got political and started socializing. I just finished talking to them through the necklaces telling me they'll be arriving soon.

A few minutes later, Sona, along with her sister, father and mother arrived and Sona immediately went towards me. It seems her sister also wanted to come my way but was drag along by her father.

"It's always a pleasure seeing you" I said as I kissed the back of her hand in greeting.

"The pleasure is all mine Savion" she replied with a smile. "But please don't go all formal with me, it really doesn't suit you" she continued.

"Aah, good to see you finally getting it, instead of always scolding me." I said with a smirk.

"When I figured out you were just being formal with lord Lucifer just so you could see his reaction, I see no point in scolding you anymore" she replied with a small glare.

I chuckled and just as I was about to reply "It seems Rias and her family has arrived" I suddenly said.

"I still can't believe you went and learn Senjutsu even with the dangerous risk" she commented as we wait for the Gremory's to enter the hall.

"It all went well at the end didn't it?"

"It did, you were really lucky" she said

'Lucky Indeed' I thought as the figure of the entity that reincarnated me flash across my mind.

...

"There she comes" Sona said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry I'm late" Rias immediately apologized.

"Don't be, we didn't wait long" I said taking her hand and kissing the back of it like I did with Sona.

"I really don't wanna be here" Rias commented.

"Same, but when an event is hosted by the lord Bael himself, refusing would leave a very bad aftermath to our budding reputation." I replied.

"Indeed Savion is right, I honestly believe such an event like this is totally unnecessary" Sona added.

"Here comes one of the reason I hate such a gathering" I said as I watch a fellow green haired devil but a lot less handsome, Diodora, coming our way.

...

"Well if it the three most secretive young devils of the newest generation, I personally and honestly expected none of you three would turn up, so color me surprised seeing the three of you here, especially you, Son of Beelzebub" He said a bit bitterly, putting emphasis on the last three words which drew quite a bit of attention to us.

'He already so hostile, well I guess he never did like the fact that I can challenge him for the title of heir anytime I want does he?' I thought in amusement.

"It's practically an honor to be personally invited to an event by Lord Bael himself, so anyone with a bit of common sense would immediately accept the invitation. So I don't know why you're so surprised? I'm sure a prominent heir like you possessed SOME common sense as well" I replied as sweetly and innocently as possible.

"Indeed heir Astaroth, it would have been extremely foolish of us to even think of declining such an invitation. I'm sure no one would be Idiotic enough to even think that someone would decline an invitation to an event such as this" Sona added.

Rias was stoic but I could see little twitches in her lips, clearly trying to hold in her laugh.

Meanwhile Diodora was making a very convincing impression of a hungry goldfish, trying to come up with a good comback.

'I'm sure he'll come up with one later, while he's taking a shower or something' I thought, chuckling internally.

He was saved from further embarrassment when someone I did not expect to even approach us started approaching us.

"Greetings and pardon the intrusion, my name is Seekvaira Agares, heiress to the Agares clan."

We introduced ourselves as well, though it really wasn't needed.

"What brings you here miss Agares?" I asked.

"I apologize if it seems rude, but I figured that the elusive son of Beelzebub as well as the heiress Gremory and heiress Sitri would finally make their appearance considering what the kind of event this is, so I was thinking I'd introduce myself and try to make acquaintances with you all" she said very seriously, unknowingly insulting Diodora, who immediately left after that. I don't even think the girls know that he's gone.

"Very straightforward, I like it and don't worry, it's nothing to apologize for" I assured her.

"Savion is right, but I do have a question, are we really known as the most secretive trio?" Rias asked.

"Yes, you've been called that for quite sometimes now and have been the subject of quite a few gossips and rumors." she replied.

"Really?! now you've gotten me curious miss Seekvaira" Sona spoke up.

And just like that the conversation started flowing.

Apparently a lot of weird rumors about me and my girlfriends have floated around the underworld. Some say that we were too powerful and are being locked up in case something bad happens. Others are the exact opposite saying that we were too weak and are too embarrassed to show our faces to the outside.

The one that irks me the most is the rumor that I was born SO ugly that my parents had to hide me.

Rias and Sona having a great laugh out of it and Seekvaira saying I wasn't ugly in total seriousness was the only sliver lining.

It was another surprise how little

political subjects were touch during the conversation, I guess she really did just want to introduce herself, maybe make some new friends in the process.

"I'm surprised I'm not the only one that didn't bring any peerage member." Seekvaira suddenly said.

"I didn't see the need to do so" Rias replied.

"I gave the same mindset as Rias, but I do believe we should take them to the next youth gathering to get them use to it, just in case an event like this happens again" Sona added.

'That is true, as much as I hate the idea, getting Raynare, Ayame, Akeno and Tsubaki and Shirone used to the custom and culture of the underworld is a needed.' I thought.

"Mine are sadly currently not in the underworld." I replied to her question before I get too deep in my thoughts again.

"Oh, that's quite unusual" she said in surprised.

Before I could comment I sense someone or something and immediately turned towards the location.

The three girls, surprised by my sudden action followed my line of sight.

"That's Sairaorg Bael and his queen Kuisha Abaddon" Seekvaira spoke up. "I'm sure you've heard a bit about him"

"He's strong" I thought out loud. She seems surprised by my comment.

"Don't be so surprised, I know about his predicament but trust me, he's powerful."

"Please believe me when I say I'm not the kind to discriminate but surely you're joking"

"*chuckle* I believe you don't worry, but I'm not joking" I replied. She looked a doubtful but I can't blame her, she'll see his strength very soon when he challenge his half brother for the title of Heir.

...

Seemingly sensing my gaze Sairaorg turn towards me, with curious eyes. I stared directly at him and slowly release my touki.

His eyes widen in shock for a brief moment before calming himself down and immediately made his way towards me along with his queen.
