3 3) Got A Secret Can You Keep It.....

When they got to Jayden's house the girls turned one of his bathrooms into their own personal salon with makeup and hair products all over the counters, the place was a total mess but they didn't seem to notice it. He didn't say anything either but watched a basketball game that was on TV while waiting for them he was ready thirty minutes ago but of course they were still in the process of getting ready so he had nothing better to do but watch this rerun of the game. After waiting another twenty minutes they finally came out making him sigh in relief he didn't want to have to wait any longer it was like they all planned this just to torture him, he swore to never do this again.

When they got downstairs he lead them to the car he hired for the night since he didn't want to take them into the subway and have an idiot do something stupid and him have to seriously injure that person. They planned to meet the guys half way where they would go and buy Mary Janes and Jeans fake ID's, Harry was already waiting with the guy who did the fake ID's so they just needed to buy it before going to the club. Showing up there was four people waiting one guy with brown hair, one with blonde and the last had black hair it was like they were only friends because they had different hair colors, when they saw Jayden they scowled a little.

Jayden didn't mind though and just stood next to the car while Liz and Mary Jane went forward Jean decided to stay by his side it was calmer for her that way, but it made the blonde frown deeply. Jayden could only sigh hopefully this didn't turn into a big thing he didn't really want to fight with people who aren't even in his life, hell most likely after tonight he might not see any of these three people ever again, well not entirely true Harry might become the green goblin if it was that Spider-Man story.

After getting the ID's the five made there way over to Jean and Jayden luckily Jayden got a SUV so they didn't have to worry about space in the car, after getting in he sat down closing his eyes. He could feel the hostility in the air directed at him but he didn't mind it at all. Jean took the chance though to introduce him to the guys in the car, "Harry, Flash, Jason this is my friend Jayden.... Jayden this is—— hey Jayden pay attention!" Jean scolded seeing his eyes were closed.

"Don't wanna." He said keeping his eyes closed cause he knew she would be giving him the puppy dog eyes if he opened them.

Growling in frustration which he found a little sexy he chuckled a little when she held one of his arms that was crossed over his chest, "Meanie!"

He didn't say anything but there was the tiniest of smiles on his face with her in his life it was a little funnier of course he knew it was going to get more chaotic when later but with her powers she could keep up so he wouldn't leave her behind. The car was quiet and a little awkward Liz and Mary Jane could see the looks that Flash was sending towards Jean and Jayden but didn't say anything and Harry and Jason were trying to scheme of a way to get rid of Jayden. Jean was oblivious for it all and was trying to act her cutest so she could get Jayden to open his eyes and pay attention to her friends, which he would never do.

After the weirdest car ride he had ever been apart of they all stepped out to the club which was called, 'The Stream', it had a long line that wrapped around to the side which they would have to wait in. Harry had other plans though he walked right up to the bouncer slipping the guy three hundred and they were able to enter causing the line to get a little rowdy but with a simple threat they all shut up not saying anything. Once inside the pounding of the music was loud drowning out the chance to even speak to each other, Jean who had let go of Jayden hand took it back quick because combined with the music and endless thoughts she almost passed out from the pain in her head.

Jayden could now tell what was wrong so he decided to take a day when he was free and try and help her, first he would try and see if he could make anything that could take away the voices like he did. Walking along they found a table and since they had gotten over twenty one wrist bands they were able to get drinks delivered the moment they went in, while everyone was drinking he got a sprite though he had a bad feeling about tonight. Although Jean pouted when he told her he ddI it to protect her from some drunk person so she could have fun she let out a megawatt smile giving him a quick hug before pulling back and talking with the girls.

None of the guys wanted to talk to him and that was fine with him since he was scanning the place making sure nothing happen to him, while he was doing that Flash took the chance to ask Jean to dance. "Jean mind if I get the first dance." He said flashing her a smile that he probably uses on all the girls.

"Sure." She said with a smile, she hadn't heard any of his thoughts tonight and with so many people it was hard to zone in on his so she didn't know what he was thinking.

Jayden saw his smile which looked more predatory then friendly but he would stop anything if he tried to much so he didn't stop it and just continued to look around, he already saw something he didn't like but didn't do anything about it. There was multiple guys with tattoos with the number 405 which was a street gang that pushed drugs, but since they didn't mess with him or his friends he didn't stop them it was their turf anyway from what he could see.

On the dance floor Jean was dancing with Flash and having a joyous time, although she was away from Jayden after holding his hand for awhile her mind was able to calm down so it was easier to be in the club without her mind splitting. While dancing with Flash she thought that it was just a simple dance but he started to get a little handsy and when she tried to pull his hands off her butt he put strength into it keeping them in place. Her powers started to flare up which Jayden felt sighing he got up and walked over to the two, ever since he awoke with his new powers he was more sensitive to power around him so he quickly walked over to the two.

Jean saw him and relaxed a little but at the same time Flash caught him coming over and scowled moving away from Jean he didn't want to start anything right now he was going to wait until they left so he didn't ruin the night for everyone. Seeing him move away Jayden pulled Jean into him who went willingly and sighed into his chest she was feeling a lot more ease in his arms than in Flash's, although the song wasn't one for a slow dance that is what they did. "He's and ass." Was Jayden said after they had been dancing for a moment.

"I didn't think that he would be. He's always so nice whenever we're together with everyone else. Do you think it's the drinking?" Jean asked looking up at him with those eyes but he didn't let it effect what he said next.

"We both know that isn't it. He is an ass who was trying to take advantage of you since you danced with him. Your my friend but I'm not going to help you if you try and act like that didn't just happen." He said sternly to her making her nod quickly.

"I know it's just... I expected more, I've known him for two years and thought maybe now was the time to give him a shot but..... I guess I was wrong." She leaned her head on Jaydens chest just listening to his heart beat while letting out a deep sigh.

Jayden kept swaying with her in his arms he wasn't mad at her but he was protective of her he saw her as a sister and didn't want anything and to happen to her even if he wasn't around. While he kept his distance from most people she had worked her way into his heart in these short few days, although it was just some text messaging when they were free it still made them a lot closer. When her feet started to get tired he took her back to the table exchanging the drink that was already because Flash was at the table alone and he already didn't trust the guy so he was going to change the drink that was left alone with him.

Jean smiled she could tell why he did that but didn't say anything but squeeze his hand under the table, Jayden also didn't acknowledge it he was just looking out for her she was now first in his heart since he had no one else. The night blew by and every time Jean wanted to dance it was either a group thing with the girls or it was with Jayden who only did it so Flash wouldn't try anything on her again since he had taken to drinking becoming drunk in a short amount of time. It was a pretty fun night until a guy with a tattoo of 405 stopped near the girls trying to sell them some white powder seeing it Jayden went over right when he tried to grab Jeans arm who was trying to walk away.

"Leave it alone man they don't want anything." Jayden said pulling Jean into his chest while glaring at the guy who flared back but backed off, they could sell in the club but couldn't cause trouble since it would attract police. "You're going to be bringing me a lot of trouble aren't you Jean?" He said taking her hand with the other girls following.

"I'm sorry." She said holding his hand tight it was true that she had brought him trouble more than once tonight.

"Don't be I would do it in a heartbeat. You already know I'm an Orphan and don't have many people I'm close to. No family and your really my only friend so I will always support and protect you, so just stay safe okay?" He said not looking at he but he could feel her eyes on him.

"Yes I promise." She said hugging his waist this time though they were leaving the club the guys still inside he didn't care to tell them and just wanted to get the girls out.

Outside the club he could feel a little hostility directed towards him and sighed using his petals secretly he sent them to kill off the guys who were hiding waiting for them, luckily the girls didn't see it. When they got into the car Jean took Jaydens hand and leaned on his shoulder in contempt, she looked at their connected hands with a smile while also admiring his tattoo. "Why did you get this tattoo?"

He didn't open his eyes but answered her anyway, "The Rose is my favorite flower I just thought it looked good so I got it. Why want to get a matching one?" He joked.

Jean thought about it before shaking her head, "No it's to big I want something small and personal though. Can we get it tonight?"

Jayden opened his eyes and looked at her, he took out his phone and looked up a good rated Tattoo parlor and then told the driver to take them there, Liz and Mary Jane were surprised but went along with it. The place wasn't to far away so they got there in twenty minutes, the tattoo artist was a girl with dyed green hair and full sleeve tattoos her and Jean talked in private before moving over behind a curtain to do it. Jayden tried to follow but he was told by her to wait over by the door which he found strange but nodded and did, the girls followed Jean giggling as the tattoo gun went.

He didn't know what it was but she would show or tell him when she wanted to for now though he looked out the window, he had thought about what he needed to do in the next week and it was packed. He had plans to join Baxter Building to get close to the Fantastic Four and then work more with his powers, he also planned to train and tell Jean, while also getting things ready for Thor's arrival. Sighing he thought about everything from Marvel and knew he needed to become smarter he would always be stuck at where he was if he didn't do something, his biggest plan was still for outer space and he didn't see that happening with his current intelligence so he needed allies. He was hoping with Thor's help he could visit Asgard.

While waiting the girls came out Jean with a slight blush on her face but she didn't say anything about tattoo, raising an eyebrow at her she just shook her head pulling him out the place after he paid for it. The girls planned to stay at Jaydens since they all told their parents that they were staying at each other's houses, Jayden could only sigh at it he didn't mind though each room had a bed and since he had three bedrooms he didn't have to worry. That night though he didn't get to sleep until four a.m because the girls decided to play monopoly which turned into a fierce game real quick, Jean may look like a helpless doe but she is a cut throat business person.

He shivered at the thought and promised to never play with her again that girl only knew background deals and hiking up prices, she was a demon with beautiful electric light blue eyes.

*Next Day*

They didn't wake up until midday the next day the girls leaving one by one Jean staying the longest she even cleaned up their mess and washed his dishes looking like a little house wife. After making Jayden promise to text her later she took off leaving him alone in his place, he saw the time and thought about yesterday seeing the silver haired girl and took out his laptop. It only took him moments to find what he was looking for Felicia Hardy daughter of Lydia Hardy a high class defense lawyer, he didn't know if she started her Black Cat ways but he was excited to find out.

He also found Gwen Stacey which made him laugh there was officially three girls Spider-Man dates yet he isn't with any of them at the time instead he is focused on being a hero, wonder if he will end up with one of them? Jayden dismisses it since it was just one other thing about the world that he was going to find out about sooner or later, for the rest of his day he hacked into some criminals bank accounts and such syphoning money slowly out raising his bank account.

Since he was finished for the day he decided to cal over Jean it was time to discuss the whole mutant thing and powers he already trusted her enough the real question was wether she was ready to tell him the truth or not. It didn't take long for her to show up skipping into his house happily, seeing the serious mood of Jayden though she quickly calmed down and took the seat across from him. "Is everything okay?" She was worried that something might have happen and wasn't expecting his next words.

"Are you a mutant?" He asked straight up already knowing the answer though he just wanted to make her squirm a little.

Jean froze for a moment then she started panicking which made her powers go haywire making little objects float in the room, Jayden just raised an eyebrow at all this making her realize her mistake. "Please don't hate me!!" She cried out tears already rolling down her face, she wasn't a stranger to what people said about mutants and hoped he wouldn't push her away.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Well.... the truth is.... I-I am a m-mutant so please just don't hate me." POW! Puppy dog eyes which she didn't even need since he wouldn't hate her in the first place, but the tears she let out hurt him a bit.

Moving next to her he wiped the tears from her face kissing her cheek, "Stop crying I swear it's like you are trying to break my heart with these cute eyes. Look here," he lifted his palm making the petals appear but now there was ten of them his mind had strengthened enough where he could control more, "I have powers too, but who is to say I am a mutant or not what if this just a gift. Who says you are a mutant people just say that because they are jealous that you have a gift and they don't." He said comforting her pulling her into a hug.

She was the closest person to him he knew about everything that could happen in this world and who the villains are, she might one day be controlled by the Phoenix but for now she was just Jean Grey his best friend. When she calmed down enough from hearing his words he spoke again, "Don't listen to what others have to say cause even if the whole world is against you I will be by your side to support you. Trust me Jean I will never and probably could never hurt you."

Jean smiled lightly at him and for the next hour they talked about their powers and her fears, hearing that he would help her learn to control them only made her cry again.
