1 Introduction

Something in the Woods! is a book I wanted to have fun with. Each short chapter has a different character who are telling their experiences in different ways.

(Mikey's chapters are him talking into his camera, so you'll have to be imaginative with his chapters.)

To get to know the characters better let me tell you a bit about them.

Kylie is a poetic character. She is in tune with nature and loves the beauty of life. She is horrified to talk to anyone she meets. Kylie usually likes to be by herself and wrote her poems to calm her anxiety attacks. Even though she barley talks, people can see who she is through her poems.

Michael is a vlog enthusiast. Anything that happens he is ready to film, even when his life is at risk, because he's "Gotta get those views." Michale calls his viewers, "Mikeys." He always tries to see the bright side of things, but can be a bit annoying when he gets excited.

Natasha and Kat are sisters. Natasha is the one who writes in her diary to calm herself whenever she can. She is usually scared, but puts a brave face on for her younger sister, Kat. Natasha is pretty sassy, but very sweet.

Dane writes letters to his brother, Zane, who is at college in New York. Dane's family were country folk who have moved to California. Since he and Zane are so close, Dane writes letters to ease his nerves, even though he has no way of sending them. Dane is a very caring and comforting guy who wants to protect anyone he will find.
