Since that fateful night for his balls, France had pretty much stayed away from me like the plague, and my Sophomore year managed to end with no more trouble from him. I was very satisfied about that.

Yes, I still saw him in the hallways, at the gym during flag raising and lowering, or sometimes at the parking lot, but the poor prick never looked at me again or even dared to smirk in my direction. I'd believed that that night I dared to put him in his place would finally mark the end of his terrorizing days.

But now...

Now that it was a new school year and he transferred in my section, I honestly had no idea what to expect. So far, he hasn't done anything yet, but it might still be too early to say. It was only the second day of class, after all. Was he just biding his time to strike again?

And what bothered me more than anything, was he going to take his revenge on me? Was that why he transferred in the first place? Not that I was saying his world revolved around me or something ridiculous like that, but I mean, who transferred from the first section to the second section unless he had a very valid, very compelling reason to do so?

Say, a vendetta against an enemy.

And who else was his enemy in this school but me? I did knee him in the forbidden area, for goodness' sake! If that didn't make me an enemy in his eyes, then I didn't know what did.

Ugh, I really had no idea, that's why I couldn't stay put or keep my cool during the next subjects. Everytime I would catch him looking at me, all I could think of was, He's going to avenge his balls, he's going to avenge his balls, then I would always avert my gaze like a guilty criminal or something.

Why did I even feel guilty, huh? France deserved it, he truly deserved it for every horrible thing he had done to me without even uttering one, simple, insincere apology! And what was he trying to achieve by being such a mean jerk? Was he born a natural sadist and he had inadvertently chosen me to perform all the evil tricks he had up his sleeves?

Regardless, and whatever was running through that thick skull of his, I couldn't afford to be complacent and trust that he wouldn't try anything again. I might have already taught him a lesson but that didn't necessarily mean he learned.

So my guard was going to be as high up as Mount Mayon, and my shields would be as impenetrable as the strongest metal on earth. I would never, ever, allow France Kinsley to get to me, and he best realize that early, if he didn't want to put his precious balls in the line of fire again.

Because I swear I wouldn't hesitate to hurt him again a second time.
