I realized I liked girls at age 13, after watching a movie with Zendaya in it. Liking girls took me a while to accept, and I still struggle with it. Nobody knows.

"Georgia, come on! We are late to school!" I heard my mom scream.

"Shit!" I yelled as I grabbed my bag and sprinted downstairs.

"Georgia, can I ask you something?" My mother asked as we both climbed into the car.

"Sure." I responded.

"While you were at Cassidy's the other day, I headed into your room to grab something and noticed a rainbow flag. Are you one of them?" My mother asked.

"What do you mean one of them?" I snapped.

"Watch the attitude! Are you gay?" My mother asked rudely,

"Yes.. and I am proud. Nothing you say or do will convince me to change the way I am. You shouldn't treat me any different, I am still your daughter." I replied nervously.

"You are no daughter of mine! As soon as you get home from school, I want you to pack your stuff up and leave!" My mom yelled.

"I have nowhere to go," I said with tears in my eyes.

"I don't care." My mom said madly.

"Mom, please think about what you are doing. Me liking girls shouldn't change anything." I cried.

"It isn't natural." My mom stated.

"I thought you loved me." I sobbed.

"I would never love someone like you." My mom snapped.

"Wow, thanks." I sobbed.

"You're welcome." My mom laughed. The rest of the ride to school was silent, and I sat there holding back tears. The second I left the car, I erupted into tears.

"Georgia, are you okay?" I heard Cassidy pipe up from behind me.

"L-Leave me a-alone." I cried.

"No, stop pretending to be strong. I can tell you need to talk to someone, so let's go find somewhere private and talk through this." Cassidy said firmly. Cassidy and I stood there and waited until everybody headed inside. Once everyone was inside, Cassidy pulled me towards a nearby bench.

I sat down and stared at my shoes, I hated having others see my cry.

"What happened?" Cassidy asked.

"I came out to my mom and she kicked me out of the house." I sobbed.

"Oh, Georgia, I'm so sorry. You can stay with me." Cassidy assured me.

"Thanks, but I'm not gonna intrude on you and your family" I sniffled.

"Georgia, I'm not taking no for an answer." Cassidy snapped.

"Fine." I muttered.

"Girls! Why aren't you in class!" A voice shouted from a distance.

"Sorry, Mrs. Williams!" Cassidy shouted.

"Sorry isn't going to work. I want both of you to join me in my office now!" Mrs. Williams yelled. I quickly tried to wipe my tears as we headed inside. Cassidy, who noticed what I was doing, squeezed my hand for comfort.

"Why weren't you two in class?" Mrs. Williams questioned.

"That's none of your business." Cassidy said madly.

"Mind the attitude, Miss Thomas!" Mrs. Williams said angrily.

"Since you two obviously don't want to answer my question, I will be contacting both of your parents and giving both of you a week of after school detention." Mrs. Williams explained. I sat there in fear while Mrs. Williams grabbed her phone. Without thinking, I grabbed the phone from Mrs. Williams' hand.

"Miss Summers! What do you think you're doing?" Mrs. Williams yelled.

"Georgia, knock it off!" Cassidy yelled as she ripped the phone out of my hand and handed it back to Mrs. Williams. Tears began to fall down my cheeks as Mrs. Williams stood there on the phone.

"Miss Thomas, your mother is on her way, Miss Summers, why is your mother telling me she no longer has a daughter?" Mrs. Williams asked worriedly.

"She disowned me after I came out to her." I explained as I burst into tears.

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry sweetie. Do you need somewhere to stay?" Mrs. Williams asked.

"I'm going to stay with Cassidy." I responded.

"Okay, honey. You can go back to class now. Miss Thomas I want you to stay." Mrs. Williams said firmly. I quickly headed to the choir.

After the longest day of school I had ever experienced, I headed outside and fearfully climbed into my mother's car. Once I arrived home, I quickly packed up everything I could fit into my three backpacks and then ran outside. Once I got outside, I saw my mom standing there with my pride flag in her hand. I quickly ripped it out of her hand and shoved it into one of my bags and then ran off. I knew that if I wouldn't have grabbed it, she would have done something bad to it.

It took me two hours to get to Cassidy's house, and once I arrived, I sat outside and cried. I grabbed a piece of glass that was laying next to me and began to slice my wrist.

"GEORGIA, STOP!" I heard Cassidy scream. Five seconds later, I was being dragged upstairs. The second we got in Cassidy's bedroom, I fell to the floor sobbing.

"Georgia, I get that you are going through a lot right now, but hurting yourself isn't going to do anything." Cassidy lectured.

"Sorry." I said quietly.

"It's okay." Cassidy assured me as she put some bandaids on my cut.

"Should we head downstairs and get some food?" Cassidy offered. I wiped my tears and followed Cassidy downstairs.

"Georgia, I heard about what happened and we have contacted the cops. They are coming to pick you up and take you to a foster home. I'm sorry, I just don't think I'll be able to take care of you." Cassidy's mother sadly said.

"Did you know about this?" I madly asked Cassidy.

"Y-ye-yes" Cassidy said nervously.

"Wow! Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse, my best friend's family kicked me out too!" I yelled as I broke down crying.

"Georgia, it's not like that!" Cassidy yelled.

"Whatever!" I yelled as I sprinted upstairs, grabbed my stuff and then ran outside crying.

"Georgia, wait!" Cassidy cried as she ran outside after me.

"Leave me the hell alone!" I sobbed. Before Cassidy was able to respond, I watched as a cop car pulled into the driveway.

"Please don't take me!" I sobbed.

"Georgia, we want to help you. We are going to make sure you get the family you deserve." The officer assured me.

"I don't want a new family, I just want my old family back." I sobbed.

"I know it's hard, and we won't rest until you have a family that will love and support you." The officer soothed.

"Where is the foster home?" I asked.

"It's twenty minutes away from here." The officer explained.

"I really don't want to go, I don't want to be part of a new family." I said fearfully.

"Please don't be scared. Just come with us so we can help you." The officer pleaded.

"I'm not going! Cassidy don't let them take me!" I sobbed.

"Georgia, it's okay, let them help you please." Cassidy said.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled through tears as the officer gently grabbed my wrist.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." The officer comforted. I sighed, grabbed my bags and followed the officer to his car, "You can put your bags in the trunk." I nodded and put my bags in his trunk and then climbed into the car, "Georgia, before we head to the foster home, I'm gonna take you to the human services agency so you can talk to a social worker." The officer explained.

"Okay." I sniffled. The ride to the human services agency was painfully silent. Once we arrived, I was led inside and to a counter.

"Hello, what seems to be the problem?" The receptionist asked.

"She needs to talk to a social worker." The officer explained.

"Alright, please follow me." The receptionist said. I nervously followed the receptionist and the officer into a small room, "The social worker will be with you shortly."

"Thanks." I said with a small smile.

"You're welcome." The receptionist replied. The social worker came into the room ten minutes later.

"Hello, I'm Hailey."

"I'm Georgia." I said quietly.

"Nice to meet you, Georgia. Do you wanna talk about what's been going on?" Hailey asked.

"My mother disowned me after I came out." I said as I erupted into tears.

"I'm sorry honey. Just know that even though I don't know you, I support you 100%." Hailey soothed.

"Thanks." I sniffled.

"You are very welcome." Hailey said.

"Can I go now?" I cried.

"Not yet, let's talk about this together. Have you done any harm to yourself?" Hailey asked. My sadness turned into fear as I looked down at my bandaged wrist.

"No…" I answered nervously.

"Can I see your wrists?" Hailey asked.

"NO!" I yelled.

"Georgia, calm down!" Hailey yelled as she gently grabbed my wrist.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled fearfully. The officer headed over and grabbed my other wrist. I stared down at my feet feeling ashamed, "I'm so sorry.." I muttered.

"Hey, it's alright, you don't need to apologize for being upset." Hailey said kindly, "I'm gonna have you come here once a week for techniques to help through this tough time and to make sure you are okay."

"Thanks." I responded as I followed the officer back to the car. Once we arrived at the foster home, I was greeted by a very welcoming man.

"Hello, you must be Georgia. I'm Daniel." Daniel exclaimed.

"Hi." I mumbled as I grabbed my bags out of the car and headed inside.

"You must be the new girl, I'm Heather!" A blue eyed girl with short blonde hair said as she shook my hand. I pushed past her, headed into the bathroom, locked the door and then broke down sobbing. I pulled my flag out of my bag and wrapped it around me for comfort. I was tired of having everybody I loved just leave me. I was tired of being hated for being myself. I want someone to hold me and comfort me, "Are you okay?!" Heather asked.

"No.." I responded as I unlocked the door.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Heather asked.

"No." I said as I grabbed my stuff and headed outside. When I arrived I was surprised to see Daniel talking to my mother.

"Georgia, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have kicked you out. I've been thinking and even though I don't really support you, I'm ready to welcome you back in the house." My Mother explained.

"YOU ARE A MONSTER! BECAUSE OF YOU I HAVE FOUND MYSELF UNABLE TO STOP CRYING! BECAUSE OF YOU I DID HARM TO MYSELF! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!" I screamed as I began to attack my mom.

"Georgia stop!" Daniel yelled as he shoved me off of my mother. I watched from the corner of my eye as all the other kids ran outside.

"Georgia, I'm sorry, okay. Please give me another chance." My mother begged.

"No." I said angrily as I sent my mother the middle finger and then headed inside.

"Dude, are you aware that you just assaulted your mother." Heather asked fearfully.

"I didn't mean to, I was just so angry." I nervously replied.

"Georgia, can I have a word with you?" Daniel asked as he headed inside.

"Yeah, I guess." I responded.

"What you did was very irresponsible. I get that she upset you, but that doesn't give you a right to attack her." Daniel scolded.

"I'm sorry." I said sadly.

"It's fine, but I'm worried about you, so I'm gonna have you sleep downstairs so I can be here if you need comfort. My room is down the hall, I'll make you a spot in the living room." Daniel explained.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"You're welcome." Daniel said kindly. I spent the rest of the day writing in my journal and hanging out with Heather. After a week at the foster home, I began to feel a little better. I spent a lot of time with Heather, we went for walks and watched the sunset every night together. When I was with her, I felt happy, If I had to be totally honest, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

"Georgia you have a visitor!" Daniel yelled.

"Okay!" I shouted back as I finished getting ready and sprinted downstairs.

"Hello, Georgia." Cassidy said nervously.

"Hi, Cass." I said happily.

"Are you still mad at me?" Cassidy asked.

"A little, but I'll get over it. Any particular reason you decided to visit?" I asked.

"I wanted to see how you were doing and I also have some news." Cassidy explained.

"Alright." I said as I followed Cassidy outside. I led Cassidy to the spot Heather and I watched the Sunset at, "I'm doing a little better. I met a girl! Her name is Heather." I explained.

"That's wonderful." Cassidy said happily.

"I can go get her if you want." I said.

"I'm good. Georgia, your mother is trying to win back custody of you. She wants to see you in court Saturday at 3:00 pm." Cassidy explained.

"How do you know this?" I asked.

"My mom told me about it this morning, she was on the phone with your mom for two hours." Cassidy explained. The tears began to flow. I was terrified. I couldn't go back, I wanted to go somewhere I would be loved and supported for the way I was. I noticed Heather running outside, and before I could do anything, she was holding me in her arms and telling me everything was going to be okay.

"What happens if I don't go?" I sniffled.

"You have no choice, the cops are gonna come here if you choose not to go." Cassidy explained. I let out a loud sob which caused Cassidy to help Heather comfort me.

"I think I need some alone time." I cried.

"We aren't leaving you alone. Whenever we leave you alone when you're sad you end up harming yourself." Cassidy stated.

"What?!" Heather said madly.

"Sorry, I was going to tell you when I felt ready." I snapped as I elbowed Cassidy in the ribs.

"We'll talk about this later." Heather said firmly.

"Okay." I said through tears.

"Georgia, the officer is here to take you to see your social worker!" Daniel yelled. My time with the Social Worker went well, I was given many tips that would help me out so much When I arrived back to the foster home I was greeted by a very angry Heather.

"Georgia let's go to our spot and talk." Heather said madly as she dragged me towards the top of the nearby hill (our spot).

"Why didn't you tell me about this?!" Heather yelled.

"It isn't that bad." I replied.

"You physically harmed yourself, stop saying you're fine and that what you are going through isn't a big deal, it's okay not to be okay Georgia." Heather stated madly.

'I need help." I said quietly.

"Let's go." Heather said. I nodded and followed her inside.

"Daniel, can we borrow your car, I'm gonna drive to Georgia to get some help?" Heather asked.

"What kind of help? Georgia are you alright?" Daniel asked fearfully.

"No.. I can't stop crying and I just wanna feel better. I cried.

"Alright. Heather please keep me updated and Georgia please feel better." Daniel said.

"K" Heather said.

Heather and I headed into her car and drove to the closest hospital we could find. By the time we arrived I was sobbing, I hated having Heather see me cry, it was super embarrassing.

"Is everything alright?" One of the hospital receptionists asked.

"No, she won't stop crying, she says she needs help." Heather explained.

"I want Cassidy." I sobbed.

"I'll call her in a little bit okay." Heather assured.

"Sweetie, how about you tell me about what is going on." The receptionist said as she pulled up a chair next to her. Heather stood behind me and grabbed my hand. I took a deep breath, wiped the tears and began to talk…

"I feel like wherever I go, I leave ghosts behind. Everyone I care about lets go of my hand before I can even begin to grasp theirs. I can't even be myself anymore, I get shamed for everything I choose to do. I feel so distant from my mind, and it's driving me insane. It feels as if I'm watching myself from above making all these right decisions that aren't that right after all. Maybe I should've kept to myself about my sexuality. I wouldn't be in this situation if I would've kept my mouth shut. I can't take it anymore. The rights are slowly turning wrong, and I can't take it. I'm running out of reasons to stay. I've lost my mom, my best friend for the longest time. Cassidy couldn't take me in and only bears bad news. Heather is the only thing keeping me going." I look to Heather and let a tear fall. I watch as she lets her head fall to look at her shoes, a frown forming on her face and slowly on mine as well. At that moment I knew she didn't feel the same way. She was only being nice to the newbie.

"Georgia did you actually think I liked you?" Heather said quietly.

'Y-Yes." I cried.

"I was just trying to make you comfortable, because I knew you'd be staying for a while." Heather explained.

"How could you lead me on like that?" I cried.

"I didn't mean to." Heather responded with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so frickin stupid, I can't beleive I actually thought we had a thing." I cried.

"I can't either." Heather said as she let out a small laugh.

"Why are you laughing?! Nothing about this is funny!" I cried.

"I'm sorry, I just can't believe you thought I would ever date you." Heather replied.

"STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!" I yelled.

I watched Heather look at me with fear and guilt in her eyes, seconds later she sprinted out of the hospital sobbing.

"Georgia, you need to calm down, come with me, we are going somewhere quiet." The receptionist said as she led me to a room with a small bed and a window.

"There are cameras so if you harm yourself or worse I'll know, a nurse will be with you shortly." The receptionist said as she left locking the door.

I instantly threw myself on the small bed and began sobbing. After 10 minutes of sobbing I grabbed a nearby paperclip and began to cut my wrist. I didn't care if she saw, I was in too much pain to care. I watched the nurse sprint into the room and rip the paperclip out of my hand. She then pulled me into a hug and told me everything was going to be okay.

"Sorry.." I sobbed.

"Hey it's okay... I just want you to know that there are other options that don't involve harming yourself." The nurse soothed.

"Like what?" I asked through tears.

"Well first of all I will be prescribing you some medicine to help you feel better, second of all you I'm hiring a therapist for you and finally I will be signing you up for our hospital's big sister program so that you can have a way to forget the pain and get out and have fun." The nurse explained.

"I already have a social worker, do I really need to have a therapist on top of it." I complained as I wiped my tears.

"Yes." The nurse replied firmly.

"Your big sister will be here tomorrow morning." The nurse added.

"Okay." I replied.

"Can I use your phone?" I asked.

"Of course." The nurse responded.

I grabbed the nurse's phone and called Cassidy.

"My best friend is coming in an hour, is that okay?" I asked

"Yes." The nurse said kindly.

"Alright." I said with a small smile.

*One Hour Later*

I was laying in bed reading when I heard Cassidy loudly knock on the hospital door.

"Hi Cass." I said with a small smile.

"Hi Georgia, I have got good news, your mother does not want to have a court trial anymore!" Cassidy said happily.

"That's great!" I happily replied.

"How are you?" Cassidy asked.

"I'm alright at the moment." I said.

"That's good." Cassidy smiled.

I watched as the hospital room door opened to reveal my mother.

"I forgot to tell you, I told your mom you were here." Cassidy said guiltily.

"Georgia, are you okay!?" My mother fearfully asked.

"Drop the Bullshit! Do you really think being all caring is gonna do anything, You said so yourself I'm not your daughter so stop treating me like your daughter. This whole thing is your fault!" I yelled.

"Georgia, I said I was sorry." My mother cried.

"I don't give a crap, you hurt me really bad!" I yelled.

"Georgia calm down." Cassidy said.

I ignored Cassidy and continued to yell at my mom.

"Cassidy go get the nurse!" My mother yelled.

"I'm fine!" I yelled.

"I'm getting the nurse!" Cassidy yelled fearfully.

"I SAID I'M FINE!" I screamed as I shoved Cassidy away from the door.

"What's with all the yelling, oh my gosh what happened?!" The nurse asked as she entered the hospital room.

I looked by the door to notice Cassidy's head was bloody, she must've hit something when I shoved her.

"I shoved her." I muttered angrily.

"Why?" The nurse asked angrily.

"I was mad because my mother is being a jerk." I replied as I sent my mother the middle finger.

"Hey! I get you are upset but being angry isn't gonna do anything about it, so go sit down so we all can work this out." The nurse demanded.

"Whatever." I muttered as I sat down on my hospital bed.

"I just wanted to apologize for what I did to her." My mother explained.

"Don't you get sorry doesn't always fix things you piece o_

"Enough Georgia!" The nurse yelled.

"How about you do your job and help Cass." I snapped.

"I'm fine it's just a cut." Cassidy said from behind me.

"Georgia, please come with me, I'm taking you somewhere quiet to calm down." The nurse ordered.

"Goodbye Georgia." My mother said as she and Cassidy left with tears in their eyes.

"Bye." I said as I fought back my incoming tears.

"Georgia, let's go." The nurse said as she motioned for me to follow her.

I followed the nurse outside into a beautiful yard, I watched the nurse sit down nearby, I walked over to the grass and lye there staring at the clouds letting the tears run down my face.,

I stayed outside for 2 hours and by the time we headed back inside I felt a lot better, I plopped on my bed and instantly fell asleep.

*The Next Day*

"Georgia, your big sister for the big sister- big brother program is here." The nurse stated.

I got dressed and headed to the hospital lobby, where a tall redheaded girl was waiting.

"Hi you must be Georgia, my name is Ellie, feel free to think of me as a mentor." Ellie said happily.

"I appreciate what you are doing but I really don't want anyone new to enter my life. It's nothing against you but I don't wanna be left behind again." I said sadly.

"Hey listen I completely understand but give me a chance, I swear you won't regret it and I promise you I won't ever leave you behind." Ellie said.

"Alright." I replied nervously.

"Do you wanna go somewhere?" Ellie asked.

"I'm allowed to leave for a little bit?" I said confusedly.

"Yes as long as you are back by nighttime." The nurse said.

"Cool thanks." I said with a big smile.

"No problem." The nurse replied.

"Where do u wanna go?" Ellie asked.

"The winter carnival." I said nervously.

"Alright let's go." Ellie said happily.

"Nurse may I have my phone back so I can bring it with me?" I asked.

"Sure." The nurse replied kindly.

I grabbed my phone and followed Ellie to her car.

"Thank you for doing this for me." I said happily.

"You welcome Georgia." Ellie responded.

"Do u want to tell me about yourself?" Ellie asked.

"Sure, I'm 16, I love writing and animals, that's pretty much it.." I explained.

"Cool." Ellie stated.

"Thanks." I responded.

Once we arrived Ellie smiled and gave me some money and let me go off and have fun. I headed over to the dart game because I knew how skilled I used to be at it. During my first try I won a small stuffed blue penguin whom I named Waddles. I spent the rest of my day riding rides, playing games and hanging out with this girl I met. Her name was Maddie. She was beautiful and so much fun to be around.

"Hey Maddie I've got to go find my friend Ellie." I told Maddie.

"Here let me give you my number." Maddie said kindly as she gave me a slip of paper with her number. I said thanks and headed towards Ellie squealing with excitement.

"You look happy, did you have fun?" Ellie asked.

"Yes!" I responded.

"You wanna get Ice cream on the way home?" Ellie asked.

"Sure." I said as I followed Ellie into the car.

"Wait!" I heard a voice yell from behind me. I looked behind me and was instantly filled with anger, it was Heather.

"What do you want!"" I yelled.

"I'm sorry okay…" Heather Said sadly.

"You should be!" I yelled as I punched her hard in the face.

"Georgia!" Ellie yelled as she ripped me off of Heather.

Heather threw herself on top of me and began to attack, I fought back not caring about how much trouble I would be in.

Ellie with the help of 3 strangers ripped me and Heather apart. Both Heather and I had bloody noses Heather and had a black eye.

"I'm so sorry… Can't you just try to be my friend?" Heather begged.

"Nope." I said as I flipped Heather off.

"Come on, we are going to find your mom." One of the strangers said as they dragged Heather away.

"Georgia, you are in so much trouble, let's head back to the hospital." Ellie yelled.

"Ellie I'm sorry." I said guiltily.

"I don't wanna hear it." Ellie snapped.

The ride back to the hospital was so miserable. Once we got back Ellie led me inside and straight to my nurse.

"Omg! Georgia what happened?" The nurse fearfully asked.

"Nothing." I said as I walked away.

"It's not nothing, she started a fight!" Ellie said as she grabbed my wrist to prevent me from walking any farther.

"Wow, Georgia I can't believe you right now, you just lost your ability to leave and you can't have any visitors for a week, let me have your phone please." The nurse screamed.

I gave The nurse my phone and ran off to my room. Once I was in my room I began to clean up my bloody nose. I then flopped on my bed and burst into tears.

"Hey Georgia, I'm sorry to say this but I've decided that I will be contacting the police since this is the second time you've acted out." The nurse said as she headed into the hospital room

My tears turned into sobs and my whole body began to shake in fear as the nurse talked on the phone.

"They are on their way." The nurse said.

I nodded, grabbed my stuff and headed outside. By the time we got outside the cops were at the hospital.

"We've received a complaint about one of your patients." The officer said.

"Yep, this is Georgia." The nurse said madly.

"Oh I've had problems with her." The officer said.

"What'd she do?" The officer asked.

"She has physically attacked two people." The nurse explained.

"They deserved it.." I muttered through tears.

"Officer just a heads up, Georgia's mental health is very bad so if you were to take her with you please keep an eye on her." The nurse stated.

"Alright, Georgia you are under arrest for assault." The officer said.

"That's Bullshit they deserved it!" I yelled through tears.

"I'll bring Cassidy and Heather in tomorrow and let them tell their side of the story." The officer said.

My heart sank and my stomach had that butterfly feeling you get on roller coasters before the big drop, I was terrified.

"Shit." I said quietly.

"Let's get going." The officer said as he placed handcuffs on me and put me in his car.

"What about my bag?" I asked.

"One second." The officer replied as he grabbed my bag.

"You now have the right to remain silent." The officer ordered as he headed to the police station. I sat there shaking with fear.

"Georgia I'll check on you in the morning." The officer stated as he removed my hand cuffs and shoved me into a cell. I took a seat on my hard and very uncomfortable bed and burst into tears.

*The Next Day*

After a very long sleepless night I was woken up at 7:00am and led to a room where Heather and Cassidy were patiently waiting.

I gave Heather a furious glare as the officer shoved me into a chair and proceeded to cuff me to it.

He then sat next to me while Heather and Cassidy sat across from us.

"So I've brought you two in here to tell me about what Georgia did to you." The officer explained.

"Well Georgia was upset at me because I wouldn't leave her alone, she was trying to leave the hospital room, I wouldn't let her and then she shoved me and I hit my head." Cassidy explained.

"Thank you Cassidy, what did she do to you Heather?" The officer asked.

"She attacked me." Heather said madly.

"It was for a good reason." I responded.

"Not wanting to date you isn't a good reason!" Heather yelled.

"Alright that's all I wanted to ask you, you two may go." The officer said.

Cassidy and Heather happily left and I was left sitting there filled with guilt and shame.

"Georgia, you are gonna be spending some time in juvie for assault and lying to an officer." The officer said as he uncuffed me and took me to his car.

"I'm so sorry…" I Sobbed.

"It's fine." The officer responded.

The ride to the juvenile correction facility was very scary and unreal, I couldn't believe how idiotic I was.

"Go get yourself some lunch." The officer ordered as he uncuffed me. I sighed and headed to the cafeteria.

"Hi Newbie, what'd you do?" One of the girls said as they happily ran up to me. I ignored her and headed to a table by myself sobbing. 10 minutes later I was being teased by every last inmate, I couldn't take it anymore. I sprinted out of the cafeteria. The instant I got into the hallway I was grabbed and taken back to my cell.

"You have lost cafeteria privileges." The officer said angrily as he threw me into the cell.

"Can I have my bag?" I asked.

"Fine." The officer replied as he threw my bag at me.

*3 hours later*

"Georgia, you have a visitor." The officer stated.

I put my diary down and headed towards the cell door. I was disappointed when I saw the visitor was my mother.

"Georgia, Cassidy called me and told me everything that happened, I have come to bail you out." my mother explained.

"I guess it's your lucky day, behave yourself Georgia." The officer scolded as he opened my cell. I sat on my bed refusing to move, there was no way I was going with my mom.

"Let's go Georgia." My mother ordered.

"No." I said stubbornly. My mother sighed and grabbed my bag and then grabbed me by the ear and dragged me to her car.

"Georgia are you serious right now you got yourself arrested!" My mother yelled.

I ignored my mother and burst into tears.

"Why can't you just support me?" I sobbed.

"Georgia, I love you so much, but I'm not supporting that, you can still live in my house." My mom explained.

I sighed and stared out the window crying.

"Can we stop at the hospital so I can get my phone?" I asked.

"Yeah." My mother replied.

"You stay in the car, I'll go get your phone." My mother said.

I sat in the car staring out the window.

"Hey Georgia, the receptionist wants a word with you real quick." My mom told me.

I nodded and ran inside.

"Hey Georgia, you can go home but I want you to come here once a week so you can talk to your therapist." The receptionist said.

"Alright see u next week." I replied as I headed back outside.

"When we get home we are going to have a long talk." My mother said.

"I'm not doing anything with you."I responded.

"You better fix that attitude of yours."My mother snapped.

"Not until you stop being a jerk." I stated.

"If you're gonna be like that we'll talk now."My mother stated.

"Fine." I sighed.

"Well, you are grounded for a year, no phone, no leaving the house and no having friends over." My mother explained.

"I've got therapy and counseling mom." I snapped.

"I don't care, you aren't leaving." My mom replied.

"I hate you!" I yelled.

"DROP THE ATTITUDE!" My mom screamed as she slapped me hard in the face.

"How could you!" I yelled through tears.

"Maybe that will teach you to fix your attitude." My mom said.

I grabbed my bag and threw open the car door and ran out crying. My mother swerved her car and to my utter horror she slammed into a nearby tree. I listened to my mother scream in pain, I called 911 and then left.

While walking down the road I got a phone call, it was Cassidy.

'Hi what do you want?" I asked.

"Well I got good news, Heather and I are dating." Cassidy responded happily.

I was filled with betrayal, I instantly threw my phone onto the blistering cement smashing it into little pieces of glass and useless technology, I then stood in shock and disbelief as I watched my mother from afar get dragged away by the ambulance. I was overwhelmed with the feeling of hurt, but the pain was so unbearable that it caused me to go numb.

It has become a familiar feeling.

The debris from my mother's vehicle was getting cleaned up by some frontline workers, and the ambulance carrying my mother was long gone. I can't believe I did nothing. But when you feel nothing, you can't do anything but nothing.

With no other option I walked back to the hospital. My mind was so empty yet boggled with thousands of thoughts, I couldn't feel my feet moving underneath of me. It was a long walk, but I was so fear stricken, it didn't faze me.

After 20 minutes of walking endlessly through my small town, I reached the hospital. The motion sensory doors opened in front of me, allowing me to drag myself inside the building. Covered in my own blood and scars, I walked up to the receptionist counter. I spoke quietly, nothing above than a whisper.

"Help me."
