Let start a little earlier when Yue Yang left the group.

Ye Kong, Fatty Hai, and the Lie brothers started to fight the ants. Fatty used his Bronze ranked Rhinoceros to taunt the ant then the two brothers, strengthened by their Bronze ranked Snow Wolfs, take the sides and struck the ant's feets with the Silver ranked swords Yue Yang gifted them for deducing it's mobility and then Ye Kong with his Bronze ranked Demon Titan Kong, mash the ant's head. After killing an ant, they retreated and were healed by Yue Yu. Hui Tai Lang was next to her and killed all the beast who approched too much. She fought too with the help of her Flying Waterfall.

They repeated this process some times but they could only kill 6 ants before the ants became furious. Considering they were just good at dying a month ago, killing six gold ranked beasts was an exploit but sadly they knew that Yue Yang will punish them for not completing their task and they were really afraid.

Qian Qian found a spot were multiple beasts were and taunted them. The beasts attacked her. At first, she could only escape or counter but her stamina wasn't able to sustain such effort. Little by little she started to make smaller moves, deviate the attacks instead of blocking them. After two hours, she was able to evade all the attacks without using her sword and then she started to see the gaps in the moves of the beast and found fail in their defense. She then understands why Yue Yang assigned her this training. Her moves were powerful but lacked technique and fluidity. That training let her understand how to make the most use of small moves and forced her to think of how using her sword the best way. But that training really stressed her as she wanted to let out some slash.

Yue Bing was the most productive. With her Wood Dragon that has a heigh of 5 meters, she tanked the ants and mashed the smaller beast. The claws, tooths and tail of the dragon released her Intense Poison Inherent Skill making the beast weaker from the first wound and so. The Wood Dragon was able to release a Poison Breath that she used when fighting multiple enemies. When the dragon was hurt, it took root in the ground and absorbed the energy to heal itself. Like this, Yue Bing killed more than thirty ants and a hundred smaller beast as she was seen by the surrounding adventurer like a goddess of death. With her continual use of her Inherent Skill, it has leveled up to level 3 and she was happy because her big brother will compliment her. As she was joyful at that thought she noticed an increase in the number of ants and their furious behavior.

Yi Nan was really bored, her beasts weren't strong enough to fight in this valley and she can only look at the other. She was a Level 4 Champion but she was even more useless than four Level two...

Yue Yang had told her she has a great talent for the mental energy but that he can't train her and adviced her to return look for her aunt so she can train her but she didn't want to leave him...no leaving him for a time was fine, but now that Qian Qian was here she was afraid that Yue Yang become disinterested in her. She knew it was an unfounded fear but she can't stop being afraid.

When the beast tide started, she regrouped with the others as they fight together.
