By the time Afton had the martini cocktail stirred and ready to pour, Devlin had arrived, wearing a ribbed turtleneck with a dark sports jacket and slacks.

"So, what's going on, sis?"

"Well, besides drinks and appetizers, we just began to discuss Mr. Volkes' new literary endeavor. I believe it has to do with witchcraft among us here."

"Oh, really." With a knowing smile, Dev took a seat on the arm of the sofa next to his aunt. "How very, very intriguing."

"Mr. Volkes... Lenny, this is my brother, Devlin," Afton quickly introduced as she brought over the filled martini glasses on a tray. "Dev, this is Lenny Volkes, or just plain Lenny."

Dev nodded. "Nice to meet you. So, you're the writer of The Witches of West Hollywood."

Volkes smiled. "Some say I spelled the title wrong. Instead of the W, it should have been a B. But then I would have had ten times more subjects to interview."
