6 Chapter 6: Business

Yuhao and his mother were sitting in the back of the auction room. They have waited for an hour for the auction to start and the room who was empty when they entered was now full.

The auction started from 10 minutes now and three items have already been auctioned.

Yuhao wasn't interested in the items as all of them were trash in the eyes of the modern man from Earth.

The diver's plants or rocks presented like treasures from nature were useless if you don't have others one or the skill to process them.

The Spirit Soul Weapons and tools were just downgraded version of the one on Earth and can't even be used by normal people.

The actual technology of this world is pretty much like the industrial revolution, well without the coal and with just the Spirit Master. As the number of Spirit masters was low, the progress was slow as it takes them a century to arrive at what it takes just some years on Earth.

So for someone from Earth and that has been pretty much interested in mechanical and energical engineering, the actual technological level of Douluo continent was just too pitiful. Sure they have some telephone portable and camera but it only works with Soul Power and its cost so much to produce....

Then arrived the time for his dagger to be auctioned.

"Spirit Soul Weapon, Rank 5, Dagger type. Starting price 10 000 Gold coins." Announced the seller.

" 11 000 "

"12 000 "

"13 000 "

"14 000 "

And so the price was rising but it was way too slow for him.

Looking at the armchair were was the buttons to place his bet, he says something to his mother and then he entered a price.

" 50 000 "

The hall was silent, the price was just nearly 20 000 gold coins and someone bid 2.5X that.

Yun Er stunned for a moment recovered and do like she was told.

"Hey what are you doing." She says in a low voice, but as the room was full of Spirit masters, all hearing her.

"But Mom, I want this dagger." Answered Yuhao like a spoiled child.

"You can't, I have just taken 55 000 gold coin with me, if you take it we won't have anything for the other items."

"But mom~"

"No but. Hopefully for you, someone will make another bid !" She says with a serious face.

In the hall, the other bitters were cursing to the spoiled child but calmed after some seconds. The value of the dagger was between 50 000 and 60 000 so a direct bid of 50 000 was nothing and just helped to gain some time.

" Purple53 have betted 50 000 gold coin, is there someone who want to place another bid?"

"51 000"

"53 000"

"55 000"

"59 000"

After that bid, nobodies raised the price again and so the dagger was sell.

And so the auction continued but they didn't rest to see it to the end.

On the Retirement Hall, where the sellers come to take their money, it was Yuhuo and his mother turn. There are some other clients in the room but they were good people and let her pass before them.

She thanked them and showed her certificate.

The receptionist received it and after a moment give Yun Er five 10 000 crystal cards and three 1000 crystal card.

"Thank you for using our Auction House, Here your 53 000 gold, please pass a good day-"

"One minute !" Yelled Yuhao.

The people in the room were stunned by his cry."

"What is kid?" Questioned the receptionist.

"Our item has been sold 59 000 gold coins and the tax of your Auction House is 10% so we should receive 53 100 gold coins. There are 100 gold coins missing." He explained with a high voice so all in the room can hear him.

Behind him, the other clients calculated in their heads and after a moment some exclaimed.

"The kid is right!", "Good Job boy!", "He is intelligent for his age."

"What happened here?" Sound a big voice.
