Chapter 5: Arrived at destination

After the accident in the village, Yuhao and his mother take the road again.

In the next month, they walked and walked, the time between each pause they take were much longer as the days passed.

They crossed many villages and some incident happened but nothing Yuhao wasn't able to solve.

And so, after one month, they arrived at their destination: Shrek City.

The day they arrived, Yuhao used all their money to buy some clothes like the one they have were damaged.

The next place on their list was the auction house.

Upon entering, they were greeted by a beautiful woman.

"Hello and welcome to the Luxuries Pavillon, what can we do for you?" She says with a smile.

"Hello, we want to sell an item, is it possible?" Questioned Yuhuo's mother.

"Yes! Take the left hall. At the end, there is a case where you can have your item examined."

"I see, thank you."

When they entered the room, they were the only one but a man entered from the opposite direction.

"Hello, are you here to sell an item? I am Jioug Wan, pleased to meet you, it is me who appraise the items our auction sells. Can i see the item?" He greeted.

"Pleased to meet you Mr. Jioug." saluted

"Hello, mister." Says Yuhao, shyly.

"Here the item." Huo Yun Er takes a dagger from her waist and presented it to the appraiser.

"Ho~ It's a very interesting item."

"Spirit Soul Weapon, Rank 5. Its price should be over 50 000 gold coin, right ?"

"I see that madam know exactly what it is. You are right and it's in a perfect state, it was never used so the price should be able to go to 60 000. As you probably know, our auction takes a 10% tax. So are you sure you want to sell this item with us?"

"Yes."

"Can I please know how did you obtain this dagger? If you don't want to say, it's doesn't matter, it won't impact the sale, it's just my own curiosity."

"It's okay. I received it from the father of my son. Now that he awakened Soul Power, he needs resources and money." She explained simply.

"Oh- I see. In that case, do you want to participate in the auction? It will start in one hour."

She was hesitating, not knowing what to do when "Mom~"Yuhao call her.

"What is it dear?"

"I want to see it, please."

She knows his son acted like a little kid in order to deceive the people who can want to hurt them and seeing him act like that made her happy.

Yuhao had always been far mature than the other kid but in the presence of others he never shows his true self and acted like he was even more innocent than the other.

She was happy that her son was so intelligent but sad that he can't be himself.

On the other hand, when he was acting, she was able to see a son that needs her love more than anything and it's warming her heart because, in the end, he was doing that for her.

Hearing the words of her son, Yun Er smiled.

"Ok, we will take a look."

Mr. Jioug, hearing her, smiled and give her a small document that he had just finished to fill.

"It's proof that you are selling the item and that you entrust us with the sale. There is a description of the item and its appraised value. Can you sign it?"

She takes the paper and read it after making sure that Yuhao can read it too.

"Mom, can you sign it quickly, I want to see the auction~"

Hearing his words, she knew it was safe but for the appearance,

"You little- it's will start in an hour so you will have to wait."

And then she signed.
