Chapter 25:

One year later.

It has been a year since Yuhao entered the Academy and became a disciple of the engineering department.

His training is well advanced and his soul power is now at rank 10.

Reaching rank 10 in just 1 year, even with the resources used by Shrek is pretty incredible but there is no secret to that. Yuhao is trained hard every day, his body has become strong enough for him to absorb a 3000-year-old soul ring as his first and his spiritual power has increased a lot to match a spirit Emperor.

Despite his enormous progress, Yuhao refused to get his first soul ring, the reasons being:

1- He wants to train his body until he can absorb a soul ring of 10,000 years.

2- He wants to try to trigger the second awakening of his 'spirits' before obtaining his first soul ring.

3- Thanks to his duet training, his 'soul power' is incredibly pure and dense but still wants to improve it.

4- Thanks to the elementary attribute he has 'received', he now has the attributes Fire, Ice, Wind, Light, and the rarest Space. He wants to master his element to perfection.

5- He wants to train even more the control of his soul power and create his own soul skills.

6- And he knows where and when the perfect 'soul ring' will appear.

Initially, Sin Lin Er did not agree to postpone obtaining her soul ring but when Yuhao explained her reasons, she finally agreed. If Yuaho can really get a 10,000-year-old 'Soul ring' as his first, then he will become invincible in his rank. He is already able to defeat a grandmaster soul thanks to his physique that equals a soul elder and his soul power which is so dense that it allows him to compete in terms of power with a spirit grandmaster. In addition to his many self-created soul skills, he dominates his opponents without giving them a chance.

Among the elements he has obtained, Fire, Ice, and Light have reached the absolute, although he has not revealed it to anyone, not even Sin Lin Er.

During the creation of his soul skills, he helped Tang Ya and BeiBei create their own. He learned from BeiBei how to use his lightning to create electromagnetic fields thus allowing him to protect himself against the projectiles in metals.

For Tang Ya, he helped her increase her spiritual power and communicate with the plants to ask for help while she meditates, thanks to which she gained a 10% increase in her cultivation speed allowing her to reach rank 10 faster but under the guidance of Yuhao, she is also waiting to get her soul ring but not exactly for the same reasons.

Yuhao has theorized through his research on spirits is that when they absorb soul ring, they undergo accelerated aging, copying the cultivation process of spirit beasts whose power increases with age. During the process, the age of the ring determines how much the spirit is going to be old and therefore strengthen but another factor is to take into account, the soul power.

Soul power is what feeds the spirit during the process and that is why going from a 9 to 10, 19 to 20 rank is very difficult for most spirit masters. Soul power must have certain purity and density. The higher the quality of soul power, the stronger the spirit will be during the process and have a better chance of achieving higher ranks.

For the spirit of the plant type, it is the same thing. Soul power is comparable to the nutrients the plant absorbs to grow. The more nutrients are rich and the more resistant the plant will grow.

For this, Tang Ya agreed to delay obtaining her first soul ring a few months and today is the day she leaves the academy with BeiBei and Yuhao in the direction of Star Dou Forest.

After three days of running, they finally arrived at the outer peripheries of the forest but they needed to walk more in it because with the training Tang Ya had under Yuhao care, her body was stronger and could absorb a 1000 years old soul ring so they search for a one thousand years old Datura Snake. Finding such a precise soul beast in this gigantic forest is nearly impossible but it was necessary for Tang Ya.

After searching for two days, they finally encountered what they were looking for, a pink snake around 1 meter long.

"Yuhao, are you sure we can fight it? It's a 1000 years old beast." Asked BeiBei as the pressure from the beast affected him.

"It's ok senior brother, I will take care of it." Answered Yuhao.

He walked forward while thinking about what to do. He wanted to test some things he couldn't inside the academy.

'For now, let's test that skill I learned from Meidao.'

Yuhao attacked the datura snake with a mental wave that affected its capacity to think, making him enraged.

Under the rage, the snake becomes berserk and attacked immediately. He rushed toward Yuhao at full speed and opened his mouth with the intention to bite him.

Yuhao smirked.

'1000 years old beast should be intelligent but that one easily falls. Well, I can affect a spirit Emperor so a 1000 years old beast his just too pitiful.'

He dodged the charge with an incredible speed using the Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track and took place on the flank of the snake, then punched it with a fusion of soul power and spiritual power, on the face.

The punch of a spirit scholar like Yuhao shouldn't do any damage to the datura snake that lived in the forest, hunting soul beasts, but Yuhao body was the equal of a Spirit Elder and the Fist Intent he released was great. His punch stoke the snake, broking its skull.

It was still alive but the damage was too great, it couldn't do anything. Even while he was on the ground unmoved, Yuhao continued to attack him mentally. The hate inside the snake didn't stop to increase at each second. Yuhao made a sign at Tang Ya to approach and kill it.

It was the first time she had to kill so she didn't feel good but the will to become stronger was stronger than any remorse. In a single move of the hand, she took a hidden weapon from her sleeve and killed the snake.

"Woah, little Yuhao, killing such a beast should be difficult even for a spirit Elder, how come you can beat it so easily. That punch was so terrifying." Commented Tang Ya.

"Self-created skill. But don't mind that, absorb that soul ring. I will use my spiritual power to observe the process to be sure you are okay. I will stop and take out the excess energy if you can't handle."

Tang Ya sit in the lotus position and started.

Actually, what he said to her was bullsh*t! Her body is perfectly able to absorb the soul ring without any problem but Yuhao wanted to analyze the process to see if he can learn something.

All his sens were concentrated on Tang Ya, the soul ring and the snake corpse.

He detected a little bit of remain of the snake consciousness inside the ring but it was disappearing little by little as Tang Ya absorbed it.

Toward the end, he sensed a weird fluctuation of energy. A part of the energy inside the ring didn't go in Tang Ya Blue silver grass but in her body, in her skin, across all her body.
