2 Chapter 2: A new life
Yuhao was looking at the rising sun today too. It was exactly six years ago he born in this world and the thing that he missed the most between his death and rebirth was the warm of the sun.
Letting the first ray of the day enter his eyes, a warm purple light invaded his view.
That light was a special energy that his eyes devoured like a glutton. As more and more energy was absorbed, his mind became more and more clear and refreshed.
When the horizon ceased to release the purple light, Yuhao stopped looking at the sun and focused his mind.
Like all the past days, he was now able to see things with more precision and his ability to think was faster.
Over the past years, Yuhao has done his best to train his body but the food was limited and so was he grow.
As a son of the duke White Tiger, he should have received more resources but as his mother wasn't the legal wife, the true one, the Duchess, who was sickly jealousy, give to him and his mother the strict minimum.
Today, was a special day. It was the day of the Spirit awakening ceremony.
As the son of the Duke White Tiger, Yuhao should awaken the White Tiger spirit but he knows it wouldn't.
When the time was right, the ceremony started. All the six years old kids from the Duke estate were here, safe the son of the Duchess who has already take it one day ago.
All the kids passed before him as he was the last. When his turn came he walked inside the rune engraved circle on the floor. The Spirit master in charge injected his Soul Power and the circle started glowing.
Yuhao fells energy flowing into him. The pressure was so high that he feels like he is going to explode.
Suddenly, he sensed the energy gathering in two places of his body before his mind shock.
His eyes were like burning and he suffered for seconds before it calmed down.
The Spirit Master in front of him frowned. In front of him was the illegitimate son of his master who the bloodline passed generation after generation the White Tiger Spirit who was recognizable by a change in hair color and the formation of heterochromia but the kid, apart from his eyes who changed to a gold color from black, no change can be seen.
'His eyes changed so the spirit must have mutated...'
Not showing anything on his face he handed a crystal ball to Yuhao who put his hand on it before it shined with a weak light.
"Soul Power rank 1!"
As the word fells, the people around started talking between themselves. Some laugh, some pointed him with their finger and others looked at him with disdain but Yuhao didn't care at all.
No, he didn't care, or maybe it's was more precise to say that he didn't take notice of them.
His mind was on something else.
As he was thinking, things around him changed without his notice. From the people, it was like he was dispirited as he moved as they tell him to do without saying anything.
When he started again to become aware of his surroundings he realized he was in the arm of his mother.
"He~ Mother, for how long I am here?" He questioned, stunned.
"Silly kid, the awakening ceremony ended four hours ago." She says gently.
"Is that so?"
"How have you been so inattentive?"
"I was experimenting the change my Spirit has made in my body."
"And what is your Spirit?"
"My eyes, named Spirit Eyes.' Half lied Yuhao.
