"Can you try it again on a monster next?"

Byeol agreed to his request. Yoonho dashed away and returned a few seconds later with a monster in his hand.

The wolf-like monster kept on moving violently. Desperately trying to escape from Yoonho's grip, but that was a futile effort. He presented the still alive monster to Byeol and asked him to do the same thing as before.

Byeol placed his sword on the monster and nothing happened. This time he wished for killing the monster and it instantly disappeared.

"Ow!" Yoonho, who was holding the monster, shouted in pain as he looked at his hand and saw that it was severely burnt. He looked towards Byeol and nodded his head.

Byeol took out the notepad and wrote down, "Conditional burning".

Yoonho looked towards the deeper parts of the dungeon and asked, "Can you hear the sound of monsters? Or smell them?"

Byeol sniffed the air but couldn't feel anything different. He then tried to listen for signs of monsters but couldn't hear anything. He shook his head.

"Looks like you don't have enhanced hearing or smell. Now for this." Saying this Yoonho approached Byeol and made a small cut on his arm. Suddenly the cut closed up and healed up completely.

"Regeneration. Good God. Aren't you something else, huh? I don't think there is anything else to test. So would you like to kill them or should I?"

"I think I will. It shouldn't take that long."

"Wrong. It will take some time. I've got to show you how to properly kill them to maximize your profits. Now follow me."

"Always try to fight a little far from those colourful marks that you are seeing in the wall. Those are filled with Mana Crystals and can be easily damaged by physical impact. Understood?"

"Yes."

"Hmm. I don't think there is anything more to teach you anymore except a few little tidbits. Let's go to the boss room. How long has it been since we were here?"

"Ummm. About 4 hours."

"Hmm. It has taken quite a lot of time. Let's go."

Both of them walked towards a large room. It was the only room that was not touched by them.

"You used to be a Hunter for the Fiend Guild. What made you create your own guild?" Byeol asked. He tried to make some casual conversation with him.

"Their Guild Master, Lim Tae Gyu."

"What? Was he a bad person? Or a slave driver?"

"No no! He is a good person. A great person, infact. His ranged skills are also deserving of S-Rank. But the thing is that he is not a good leader."

"Oh? Overconfident?"

"It is actually the entire opposite. He is not confident in himself nor his guild members. You know that Raids are a team effort, and when the leader is a person who is not confident in their own team, it becomes quite difficult to work like that. So I thought of creating my own Guild along with some people who agreed with me."

"Interesting. I didn't know about that."

"Really? I thought it was quite common knowledge."

"Nope. The news outlets kept on saying how Tae Gyu must have had a huge fight against you and now due to your resentment over him, you have created a new guild."

"*Sigh* A pack of lying wolves. Always trying to get the first scoop about something, no matter the method and if that fails, then writing some false news that will attract the attention of the public."

"I know right?"

"You must have it harder than me, right? With your own large company and you being the son of the Chairman."

"Kind of. I mean, though it might be a little irritating sometimes, my PR Team is talented enough to handle all kinds of situations."

"Makes sense." Yoonho was about to say something more but stopped himself when he saw that they were in the boss room.

"When you are in Dungeons, after killing every single monster. You exit the gate and wait for the mining team to finish their work. It usually takes almost 6 hours to get the job done. Let's do it."

The boss monster was a twenty meter tall wolf. The monster woke up from its slumber and snarled towards the both of them but suddenly seemed to calm down a little when it saw Byeol's wings.

It's eyes turned completely red and gave out a loud roar. It started the fight in the "Rage Mode". Without waiting for Yoonho, Byeol flapped his wings and appeared on top of the wolf. He raised his sword over his head and slashed downwards.

*Shing* with a sound of cutting air the sword cut through. The wolf disintegrated immediately. The stone walls and the air vaporized and turned into plasma which exploded shortly.

"Oh sh-!" Byeol realised his mistake but by then it was already too late. A loud and extremely violent explosion took place.

Suddenly, his entire surrounding slowed down to a standstill. The fire, the smoke, the debris, everything stopped. Time had stopped. Only Byeol could move in this place.

He immediately turned around and flapped his wings. He arrived in front of Yoonho who had raised his arms up in defense, while his hairs turned white and his body seemed to grow. He picked up Yoonho and flew outwards.

Within a few moments he could see the gate in his sight. He looked behind and saw that everything was still frozen in place. He increased his speed and exited the gate.

But suddenly he came face to face with hundreds of concrete barriers. The barriers that were placed to seal off the gate from the general public. He turned himself towards the sky and flew upwards.

Finally after slowing himself down he maintained his height. Time slowly started moving again. A loud explosion was heard. Some of the force of the explosion seemed to slip out of the gate before the gate slowly closed up.

"Wha- what?!" Yoonho asked, bewildered. He was inside the dungeon a moment ago. Trying to protect himself from the explosion. But now he was outside the gate, a few hundreds of metres in the sky, while being carried by Byeol.

Byeol released Yoonho, who started falling down towards the ground from hundreds of metres in the sky. But instead of panicking, Yoonho oriented himself and landed on the ground with a boom.

He looked in front and saw Byeol landing down. Both of them maintained a stoic face for a few seconds before laughing hysterically.

"Hahahahah! Been through so many gates in my life! But that was a first even for me!"

"Man! You wouldn't imagine your face when the explosion was happening! Hahaha!"

Both of them kept on laughing. Though for different reasons.

They had managed to turn into friends.

"If you ever want to go to a Gate with me just call my Guild and tell your name. They would hook you up with me."

"I will be working for my Father in the Korean Hunter's Association. So if you ever need me, you know where you will find me."

They shook hands and then went their separate ways.

Byeol thought to himself, 'Being a Hunter is surprisingly fun!'
