82 Chapter 77- Chaos in the school

Jin-Woo reached the high school where Haru and Jinah studied after he heard the report from the Surveillance Chief.

It seemed like a gate was breached and several high-ranking monsters had ambushed the students. The number of casualties was still uncertain but the way Haru disappeared in a panic, stated that this matter was severe.

Flying across the sky, on his wyvern, it only took three minutes before Jin-Woo's eyes landed on the school. There was a crowd of people along with police near the entrance, but the students were nowhere to be seen. The on-ground Association unit has sealed the location, which means that they know about the hunter's arrival.

Using his senses it didn't take long for Jin-Woo to identify several inhumane presences inside the school building. Their quantity was increasing which meant the gate wasn't dealt with and the Boss monster still lives…which was extremely startling given that the strongest Korean hunter was currently inside that building.

'Is he…no, what am I…' Since Jin-Woo couldn't sense Haru's presence, made him a little concerned. But soon he discarded such thoughts.

Jin-Woo already has assessed how strong Haru was. And if something could hurt him, then this whole nation or maybe this world was in danger.

---------------

Reaching the rooftop of the school building, Jin-Woo called back his ride inside his shadow and used his shared vision with the shadow knight he had left with Song-Yi.

'Hmm…' The scene that came into view, made Jin-Woo frown.

It seemed every student was currently inside the auditorium with the orcs nearby since Song-Yi was trembling in fear while holding a cleaning mop in her grip while facing the entrance. The other students weren't in great shape…but what caught Jin-Woo's utmost attention was Haru, who currently was tending to the students.

'How are they still alive….' Some of the students were missing their limbs, and some parts of their faces, and some of them had their bodies smashed messily. However, to Jin-Woo's utter shock, Haru was able to heal each one of them back to health like he was bestowing a miracle on them.

Jin-Woo was…left speechless.

However, considering the severity of the matter, Jin-Woo didn't ponder for long and readied himself.

"it seems Haru is prioritizing saving those victims…" Conjuring his Demon King's daggers from his inventory, Jin-Woo's eyes turned chilly as some words left his throat, "…I better clean up some trash until then."

[Outside the school]

"But Chief, is it really alright to leave only two hunters for this raid…I mean, we have received some disturbing radiation from the school." The bespectacled Administrator who was present outside the school, couldn't help panicking slightly after she heard from her superior to hold any kind of action.

The chaos was elevating passing each minute with all the parents whose children were stuck inside, shouting and complaining to the Hunter Association for not doing anything.

However, despite her plea the Association staff received the same command from the other side that she received some minutes ago,

[The two hunters inside would most probably get hindered by any support so just stand by and handle the public.]

"....understood, sir."

*******

[Inside the auditorium]

Despite the initial panic, all the students seemed more composed now, since it had been already ten minutes yet none of the orcs were able to break the door and walk inside the place.

It was startling how Haru carried every student toward the auditorium since the entrance was heavily guarded and also picked the near-dead victims of the initial onslaught.

However, the fact that more than fifty orcs were all around the school and the fact that the auditorium was in the center of it, was keeping every student at the edges of their seats.

Song-Yi, who was guarding the door (being the only awakened in the crowd except for Haru ) neared Haru who was actively treating the injured students and bringing them to their health.

Her weapon (?) remained tightly held in her grip as she slid her way toward Haru and asked in a low tone, "Hey, Haru…why aren't they walking in?"

Haru didn't stop healing the patient with his Reverse Cursed Energy—since this one was just facing some concussion—before he replied, "Do you want to face some A-ranked brutality, Han Song-Yi."

Not only the person in question but the people around them, gasped in astonishment.

A-rank?!

Song-Yi immediately made her way back to her post, no longer in her mind to continue the conversation.

She better does not need to use her weapon…

Outside the auditorium, the Orc unit commander was having a hard time keeping its calm.

The said Orc was getting pressurized by the tribe chief about the ambush and all the humans who were near the spawn point…however, the commander didn't have an answer to it.

Reason?

Despite the monsters trying to kill all the students, suddenly something pulled them away from their grasp, and more so, the entry of this fort was also sealed up by an invisible barrier which even ten Orcs weren't able to break, even if they hit at the same time.

Neither the humans inside the fort nor the ones outside…the orcs seemed to be contained inside a cell.

But for how long…?

Like, just to answer the question of the Orc commander, a strange yet ominous energy began to advance toward them.

[Prepare!]

The Orc commander gave out an immediate call before all the Orcs raised their weapons along with their cries. They desired the blood and gore of the humans whom they loathed the most.

However, little did any of them think, what kind of calamity was approaching.

[At the same time]

[Federal Bureau of Hunters, America]

Sat around a large conference room table were the high-ranking officials of the American Hunter Bureau, who had gathered to discuss several matters at hand.

First that island near Korea—Jeju-do—which was something America already declared a lost cause last year. Then came those weird monsters who were not only far stronger than any of the beasts that had sprung out of the dungeons (except Kamish) but also, those monsters were communicating!

The second point noted was a great leap in the development of the Hunter society.

Not to talk about the recent incident that occurred in Mumbai, where a dungeon sprouted out of nowhere and began spilling high-ranking beasts just the next minute of being summoned.

There was a lot to consider and ponder about…however, only a single thing remained mutual in all these incidents and that thing was also the reason why these important figures have assembled today.

"Hunter Nanase Haruka. We need him."

A/N: - Yeah, in your dreams. Now that I think about it, Thomas' secretary Laura is a beauty…unfortunately, Haru isn't going for the harem route. Haaah.
