26 Chapter 25- I might sue you!

It's been five days since Haru began grinding through every new appeared dungeon he could land upon. He has yet to be tracked but he surely was through every news channel in Korea by now regarded as a mysterious hunter who has been breaching laws and demolishing dungeons like an ant under his feet.

Haru despite being invested in his preparation didn't leave Jinah alone and met her just two days ago when they had a group study session with Song-Yi as well but she ditched the two, earning favor from Haru.

Haru didn't want to become a bother that's why he refrained from meeting her every day but considering the number of messages Jinah sends him now, signifies that at least she was not entirely uninterested in him.

In the meantime, Haru has utilized every skill he has in his arsenal in all the high-ranking dungeons. He revised his sword art and rehearsed his magical aspect.

The fact that his mana was growing by every second and his special eyes refrained him from wasting a minuscule of mana in his attacks, grant Haru nearly limitless mana

What bothered him was his stamina.

Using consecutive cursed techniques and sword arts tolls on his body but not to the point he would get swept easily. If Haru goes all out then he would still hold his ground for a whole day and night without staggering in his steps.

Haru wanted to train his stamina a bit but he had not much time to dilly daily. As the goddess messenger told Haru, he was transmigrated in a later phase than he should have been. This means, he has no leisure to progress simply through physical labor but to rely on the gift which was named as Gates of Divination

"You are going on a trip?"

It was around seven in the evening when Haru and Jinah decided to eat outside after the study session of straight six hours. Haru really couldn't comprehend how this girl was so invested in her studies that she worries about the exams which were months away.

While Haru really wants to spend more time with Jinah he has to speed up his progress as well. Not much time is left before the first one of the monarchs appears. There were other things Haru need to do before that as well in order to save himself from the Cup of Reincarnation.

"Yeah, just for some days probably."

Haru replied as he ate the remaining ramen from his bowl followed by a carbonated drink which just makes every spicy food perfect.

On the other side, Jinah didn't really seem to be focused on her food at all, and Haru noticed that as well. But before he could've asked the cause for her dazed behavior, she raised the reason for her concern.

"You... aren't doing anything risky these days, right? I mean the calluses on your hands and the way you seemed sleepy today tell a lot about your changes schedule."

Haru was genuinely surprised to hear that he was behaving differently even though he tried to remain the same. But what made him most startled was her keen observation.

"You actually look at me quite closely huh..." Haru tried to tease her but in return, Jinah spoke in a near-serious tone like it was a statement not worthy to get worked up about.

"Of course I do. After all, we have been spending so much time together for some time."

"You sound like you are annoyed by it tho..." Hearing his murmur which seemed he felt quite sad by Jinah's casual remark, the girl panicked slightly.

"Ah, no no no. It's not like how it sounded, I swear. I really do like your company Haru and please continue to be with me. It's just after we held hands that day, I always seek to do it again which made me notice your-wait! Why the heck am I confessing right now?!"

The way she covered her forehead with her palm and her gaze went wide, made Haru nearly laugh his amusement out. She was so adorable and clumsy at times that Haru feels tricking her like that more and more.

Jinah understood the ploy when she saw his shoulders trembling, stifling his laughter before she glared at him and pointed her chopsticks in his direction.

"That's a criminal offense right there, you understand. I might sue you someday."

Haru could never have taken that warning seriously with those pink cheeks Jinah had and the false accusation she was trying to convey through those 'dangerous' eyes of hers.

Seriously, this girl always arises the desire in him to close the gap and hug her whenever the cute side of Jinah comes out.

"Okay, okay no more teasing. And as for the question earlier, then don't worry Jinah. I am not someone who would bet their life on line in greed for anything. I would be just a little busy for the time being so please miss me a lot, alright."

"Dream on, hmph!"

After some banter and casual chatting Haru dropped Jinah at her apartment before he went to buy some of the things with the money he had stored in his bank account.

Apart from the funds his stepfather pours down every week, the mana stones Jinwoo sold for him gave Haru a lot of earnings as well.

Some research Haru did on the black market since without a license he wouldn't have gotten himself some decent weapons or artifacts. Though he wouldn't get the highest-ranked tools in the black market, Haru didn't even need them in the first place.

'Let's check... '

Back to his room at eleven in the night, Haru began checking whether he has packed everything required for his first floor of divination or not.

His armor was pretty normal which was resistant to elemental attacks to a decent degree and didn't restrict his mobility as well. The same goes for his pants which come in the set.

Haru refrained from using a helmet since he was unsure of what world he would be going to first. And if the world really turns out dangerous enough to make Haru depend on his tools then he was pretty sure the helmets available on the market would have worked no good.

They were shiny and flashy like hell. Something which Jinho would prefer.

His bag contained a first aid kit, some mineral water bottles, and some jerkies in case his mission comes out to be on a deserted land. He also considered taking a sleeping bag but it would have taken a lot of space. Other than that, a flashlight and a flame thrower torch for backup.

Of course, he had his main weapon resting over his finger as well which would work as his primary tool in accomplishing his assignment.

Once done he called forth the system screen before stepping inside the world of mysteries.

'I hope this proves to be beneficial... '

I promised, I delivered the chapter sooner than you expected.

..

Jk.

Anyway, I have already decided on the skill he would get but if you guys have more interesting ideas which would not make him omnipotent in an instant then drop them here. Use your knowledge of solo leveling and tell me the best-suited skill to counter the monarchs.
