4 The start of something new

Kirei's crew took a step back in nervousness but they brought out their weapons while readying to use their quirks.

Captain Shadow is beyond angry by now as he was the #20 hero but he was reduced to this state by a kid with no quirk.

"DON'T F*CK WITH ME!! YOU QUIRKLESS F*CK!! NOW! I'LL PERSONALLY KILL YOU WITH MY OWN TWO HAN-" Captain Shadow couldn't complete what we were about to say as Kira's scythe was just a few centimeters away from his tongue by now.

"You talk too much…" Kira muttered from behind him as Kira's foot was placed behind on his back.

Everyone now grew anxious as one unnecessary movement of either one of them would definitely kill Captain Shadow.

"You know, I heard about you before, the quirk to enable him to fuse with his shadow but alas, it's with you scum," Kira indifferently commented as he saw Captain Shadow finally remembering his quirk.

Captain Shadow quickly used his quirk to turn into shadows the same time Kira slashed at his head.

*Slick*

Kirei and his crew let go of their breaths that they were unknowingly holding as their boss used his Quirk but before they could relax they saw something that drew their breaths again but this time, it was even worse.

*Thud* *Thud*

Their boss' head and the body laid down at the ground, separately.

[You Level up]

*Clatter*

Kira looked calmly while hearing this as he noticed a stone with purple carvings at the center of it. He curiously looked at it and picked it up then suddenly, he realized that this was a skill and not just any skill, it is Captain Shadow's quirk.

Kira couldn't but smirk at this as he looked at his 'do or die mission' at (1/15). He immediately crushed the stone at his hand as his new skill was integrated just like that.

He looked at the remaining 14 that were now warily looking at him in fear.

"Now, where were we?" Kira indifferently said as he used his new skill much to the growing fear and anxiety of everyone who saw him then disappeared again but this time it looks like their ex-boss' quirk.

Kirei, who saw this display, cursed his luck as he never thought a Quirkless nobody could actually be a murderer. He didn't wait for his buddies to follow him as he made his way towards the exit as fast as he could.

While running, he could hear their screaming, and now, he could hear 3 footsteps following him but much to his horror, he could hear another yelling but this time, there were only two now.

As soon as he made it to the door, he can no longer hear any footsteps following him. He hurriedly made his way back to the car and immediately used his keys to start the car then drove off without missing a beat.

"Hah! Hah! Hah! *Phew!* that was a close one if I didn't run earlier I would've been one of them by now," Kirei said as he breathes a sigh of relief.

"But who the f*ck was that anyway, we never really got his name though," Kirei asked to no one in particular as he continues his driving.

"It's Kira… Kira Kagami," suddenly a voice behind him answered his question.

"Kira huh, I'll remember th-!!!" Kirei was about to comment about it when he suddenly realized that there was someone behind him.

*Slick*

*Swoosh*

Kira calmly got out of the car using his new skill and watched the car drive off the road railings and flew off.

*Crash*

*Booom!!*

"I meant what I said… from now on, any villains or corrupt heroes, I'll kill them all," Kira muttered as he turned around and used his skill shadow walking then merged with his shadow to get back to his apartment.

After that, by the time Kira arrived back at his apartment, it was already night and he heard from the radio that the police and the heroes are already investigating the murder of the #20 hero. Many speculations were brought up but each one said the same thing that it was a villain who did it.

As he entered his apartment, he still couldn't figure out how to make money. Make no mistake, he could've just ransacked everything in that mansion earlier but he reasoned with himself, he may be a murderer but he ain't a thief so he was back to thinking how to make money.

He wanted to think of something but as he saw it was already the middle of the night, he decided to cook one of his instant noodles then showered before going to bed as he just remembered that tomorrow, he was back at school again.

That night as he peacefully slept, the authorities and heroes that there tasked to solve the murder of the #20 hero didn't get a wink of sleep. As they further investigated the case, they all realized that the #20 hero was far from a genuine hero at all, based on all the evidence they'd gathered in the mansion of his.

Unfortunately, if this evidence were spread to the public, the name of heroes would take a negative impact due to a dead man. That's why heroes and authorities on-site are forced to overlook this and kept this from the public.

The next day, he woke up at 5 am in the morning to do his daily mission and finished by 6:30. As he came back to his humble abode, he immediately took a shower then he wore his uniform but he was hit by a dilemma as his current uniforms are too tight on him now.

His uniform is the usual Japanese black long sleeves so he rolled up his sleeves on his forearms up to his elbows while his pants that were bigger than him originally, are now a perfect fit.

He took his bag then made his way to school while buying something to eat on the way there.

On his way, he attracted the attention of a few bystanders as well the ones with the same uniform as him.

When he arrived there, many students looked at him curiously as they all thought he was just a new exchange student but during his entire walk, he didn't care about their opinions and ignored everyone he passed by.

He calmly walked to his classroom and reached it.

He opened the door and walked to his seat at the back much to the shock and curiosity of every one of his classmates. He took his seat calmly then took out a note as he continued to think of a way to acquire money.

All of his classmates are still looking at Kira curiously but seeing his serious face, they didn't have the courage to approach him, and seeing he took their usual bullying target's seat, they didn't dwell on it anymore as they waited for the teacher to come.

Soon the teacher arrived and did a usual roll call but when she got to Kira's name, many of his classmates just joked at his situation that he may have fled the country already but much to their shock they heard someone say something.

"Here," Kira's voice rang out as they looked at who they thought was an exchange student.

"Uh, Um, you're Kira Kagami?" The teacher asked awkwardly as they were all caught laughing earlier.

"Yes, Sensei," Kira replied stoically.

*Cough* *cough* "Ahem, then what is your excuse for missing out last week Kagami-san?" The teacher pretended to care which was seen by Kira easily.

"I was at the hospital as I got stabbed by a villain, Sensei," Kira said casually.

"O-oh, well no need to make up lies just to excuse yourself alright, now let's begin class, shall we?" The teacher assumed he was lying as they were never even notified of this by the school so she tried to start their class.

All of his classmates are still in denial as the one week they haven't seen their punching bag but now, he looked like he didn't care about them in the slightest. The bullies from that time nodded at each other as they wanted to beat someone for a while now.

Classes proceeded to continue without any problem except for one thing. Somehow, the new Kira was smarter than before as he became the teacher's favorite pupil on different subjects. Towards a teacher, Quirk or no Quirk, a good student is a great motivator for them to teach.

Lunch arrived as the bullies stood up excitedly as they took hold of Kira and dragged him out of the room. Most of his classmates grew excited as well as they followed to watch the beatdown.

Kira let them drag him away as he thought this might be a great time to start avenging the previous owner of this body.

The biggest one of them was smaller than him as he pushed Kira at the back of the school while his 3 companions popped their knuckles as they got ready to beat Kira to a pulp.

"Hoh, just because you got taller, you think you could look down on me ha!! Well, let's get to the usual but seeing your poker face makes me want to bash your face over and over, Hah!" Bully #1 threw a right hook at Kira's face.

*Bam!*

All of them there watching including the bully who punched him looked at Kira's face that hadn't even reacted to the punch. Kira just looked at his bully indifferently as it unnerved all of them.

The bully who punched him felt like he just punched a metal plate as his fist hurt right now and tried not to show everyone his pained expression.

"..."

"Is that the best you could do?... Let me show you then how to punch properly," Kira commented then without any of them noticing his left arm moved and punched the bully's stomach but to them, the bully just hunched over in pain as he vomited a mouthful of saliva with his eyes watered.

"H-hey dude! You okay!?" One of the bully's companions asked in worry but their friend didn't respond to them.

They all looked angrily at Kira as they were all for sure he's the one who did it.

"Damn you! Alright, guys! Let's get him!" One of them yelled as they all ran to him.

Kira looked at all of this calmly while he noticed a few students and one teacher were watching them now but didn't give any signs of helping him out just like in the former Kira's memories.

He narrowed his eyes at them as he walked forward and started to evade all of their attacks including those who used their quirks while still maintaining his eye contact with anyone that was watching him right now.

All of them who watched including the teacher felt a cold sensation on their backs as they saw Kira's glowing eyes looking at them enough to unnerve even the teacher.

Kira continued to dodge every attack they made and he just left them to tire themselves out until a few teachers finally made their way towards them.

"STOP IT!! All of you right now!!" a yell took the bullies' attention and stopped in their tracks.

"What do you all think you're doing on school's ground huh!! All of you in my office now!!" Another voice rang out but this time it came from a window above them.

It took a few hours to decide their punishments but out of all them, Kira's punishment was the most extreme. He was suspended for a month while all of his bullies just got three-day detention while the one Kira punched was at a hospital with no punishment on his head.

Everyone who came to know this was shocked as they all saw that his bullies were the first to initiate force but the guy being bullied was the one with the most punished but due to the connection of the bullies' parents, they all didn't want to speak up.

During this time, Kira, who was at the center of all of this, just stoically looked at the principal who gave him his punishment. Even the staff and mostly the principal were scared no they were horrified by Kira's eyes looking at them like they were insects. At the very end, Kira spoke only at the end of their conversation when the bullies and their parents left first.

"I only have a request, sir, can you please give me all of their names including their parents?" Kira politely requested.

The principal grew nervous at this but as he remembered his Quirkless status, he agreed and wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to him.

Kira took it calmly then he stood up and turned to leave the office but the principal stopped him in a warning.

"Whatever your planning, it isn't worth it young man… just let your punishment carry out and you can come back to your usual school life," The principal said as he felt afraid that Kira would do something.

"And yet, I'm the one being punished… no more, you don't have to worry about my punishment anymore, I'll drop out willingly but know this… I'll come for you eventually," Kira said as he slightly turned around and looked at the principal dead in the eye then walked out.

The principal's heart was beating anxiously as he felt a wild beast just looked at him. He wanted to stand up and ran after Kira but his legs became jelly immediately as he dropped down on the floor. He wanted to call this to the heroes or even the authorities but as he remembered he is Quirkless, he forced himself to calm down.

In the end, he did nothing and sat on his seat as he rationalized to himself that what can a Quirkless student do to a few wealthy businessmen and multi-millionaire families.

What anyone ever imagines that day just started something no one has ever anticipated but by the time the principal comes to connect it to Kira, he would be known as something terrifying to heroes and villains alike.
