Kira charged ahead and with one swing he took out three Basilisks all at once. He grew surprised at the power but as he noticed something was behind him, he quickly jumped to the sides.

*Splat*

*Ssssss*

A green vile was suddenly on his previous spot and he noticed it was extremely toxic as it melts the floor it touched.

He heightened his guard up even further when a familiar fire was coming towards him and even worse, the first ones he killed before actually grew two heads of their own.

The portal they were coming from still hasn't closed as numerous snakes are already surrounding him.

"Tsk," Kira gritted his teeth in frustration as he can't just behead them normally or they would multiply even further. He then stored his scythe back in his inventory and charged in bare-handed.

A Basilisk suddenly lunged at him.

He jumped over it then when it passed by him he quickly sent out a strong punch using his right arm towards its unprotected head.

*Bam* *Thud!* *Crunch*

The punch easily flattened the Basilisk's head with lots of blood coming from its head, it trembled at first but then it grew motionless.

Kira looked at the strength of his punch then he looked at the numerous Basilisks eyeing him right now.

Five more Basilisks lunged at him but he didn't do anything and just stood there.

When they were at a 5-meter mark, Kira looked at the penalty mission that was about to teleport him away for who knows how long.

*Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Thud*

The five Basilisks grew confused at their prey disappearing suddenly in front of them.

Meanwhile at Kira's side.

*Splash*

"I knew I said that this wasn't going to be like Sung Jin-Woo's but for once, I had hoped I was wrong," Kira depressingly stated as he looked at the surrounding endless body of water on his horizon.

*Ding*

He suddenly heard something coming towards him, he turned and saw a freaking Megalodon.

Before he could even dwell on it, another Megalodon came from beneath him intending to swallow him whole.

Fortunately, he noticed at the last minute as used his hands and feet to hold its mouth open. He didn't let down his guard as he saw another Megalodon jumped to take a bite of him as well.

He quickly jumped over them then took out his new scythe and sliced through them then he quickly sprinted to the water surface and surprised himself when he could see that he could actually run on water.

"Heh," Kira smirked as he continued his run while behind him, 5 different Megalodons were already chasing him.

…

He continued killing everything on his path until he managed to kill every shark chasing him.

He took a seat at one of the shark carcasses that is floating in the sea of blood. Due to his killings earlier, the water underneath turned blood-red.

He looked at his scythe in contemplation until tightening his grip on it then chugging down another recovery potion.

"Status…" Kira muttered but as he looked at it he was suddenly hit by a giant realization. He wouldn't need to kill those human scums for his leveling anymore to gain a level, he could just take the penalty mission from now on and level through them.

As he thought about the feasibility of that, Kira never felt so stupid in both of his lives. He mulled over it for a moment until he remembered about the new skill he earned earlier.

He curiously looked at it then tried gathering a fire to his palm. Lights started to gather at his hands then like a torch then the fire began forming from his hand.

He looked at the fire in his hand in wonder as he couldn't feel any burning sensation at all. He then tried pointing towards one of the shark carcasses near him.

*booom!*

A stream of fire connected to a part of that carcass and it was immediately burned but it didn't go through its skin.

He shook his head from it then got ready to be teleported back and this time, he'll kill all of them.

The whole large hall was now crawling with Basilisks when he arrived back.

They were looking at him hungrily then 3 of the Basilisks lunged at him.

*Whistle* "That's many," Kira muttered to himself as he suddenly spun his scythe in front of him a few times then placed it back to his sides.

The 3 approaching snakes were about a few meters away when those snakes were suddenly dissected into various pieces.

The other Basilisks grew wary of Kira but that didn't stop some of them that could breathe fire to attack him.

Kira still wore his indifferent expression when five different streams of fire were heading his way.

*Boom!*

The Basilisks looked at the cloud of dust from that attack and felt relieved when they saw nothing was standing there believing that their prey was reduced to ash.

But then, they all heard the sounds of flesh being cut down swiftly and repeatedly.

They all looked at and there they saw their supposed dead prey with 10 more of their brethren sliced into pieces.

Kira didn't say anything and just looked at them with his glowing blue eyes then he disappeared again and immediately after, a group of 5 of their brethren was turned into pieces without any mercy.

*H-hiss*

Many of the Basilisks are very intimated to Kira's display of speed but he didn't give them the time to mull it over as he started charging and cutting all those near him.

Several Basilisks tried to breathe fire again but this time before they could let out another stream of fire, he somehow got behind them without their notice then proceeded to dissect them to pieces.

Kira spun his large scythe with scary ease then placed both of his hands on his scythe and got in a stance like he was drawing a samurai blade while his scythe's blade was facing at the ground behind him.

He then leaned forward like he was about to fall on his face but then disappeared in a burst of speed and following the ground he was standing on gave in a bit while a whole straight line through to a group of Basilisks became filled with blood and pieces of Basilisks.

All of the Basilisks by now were losing their will to fight their prey.

Kira exhaled first to regulate his breathing then looked at the still opened portals, he quickly chose one portal and charged again while killing everything on his way.

Many noticed his intentions as they desperately tried to get in his way but all they did was add to the blood and gore. While he was going after the portal, he noticed that thing was actually moving away from him albeit slower than most Basilisks.

By the time Kira was in front of one of the portals, his body and scythe were already drenched with the blood of Basilisks that got his way.

He looked at the much smaller Basilisk that was glowing in purple as it hissed at him while on top of it, a floating portal was hovering over it.

Kira was about to take the swing when he suddenly noticed its eyes glowing in yellow looking at him. He quickly retreated back while a yellow beam-like shined on a Basilisk that was about to attack him from behind.

It trembled first then from its eyes, it slowly turned to a stone.

Kira narrowed his eyes at that irritating skill but didn't let that get to him as he charged again while the purple Basilisk looked at him.

Kira's scythe was about to hit the purple Basilisk when it again used its petrifying gaze and shined a yellow beam at him.

After the shine, a rain of the purple Basilisk's body and blood greeted all of the Basilisks there with Kira's eyes closed. He opened his eyes at the same time the portal hovering in front of him slowly disappeared.

He then spun his scythe to remove the blood on it and after that, he looked at the remaining Basilisks eyeing him with wariness.

'Only four more,' Kira thought of while his eyes were still glowing in due to his heightened concentration then took his stance again and looked at the remaining purple Basilisks.
