19 Announcement!!

After that night, Kira dropped off Eri at Nezu's place. He scared the principal of UA when he suddenly appeared at his office that night. Being the principal of the most prestigious hero school was certainly not just for show as soon as Kira appeared, Nezu immediately called for all the heroes still inside the building and the first one to appear was Eraser Head himself.

Despite those heroes that were nearby also started coming inside the room, Kira explained Eri's unfortunate predicament in a calm manner. By the end of it, Kira let them choose to decide whether they will believe him or not while stating that he can't take care of Eri.

Nezu, being the quietest since Kira appeared, decided to trust his words for now as no matter where they look at Eri, it seemed as though Kira was telling the truth. So, they agreed to take care of Eri as Kira nudged her to go while Eri the whole time was crying in tears of joy and kept repeating 'thank you' to Kira.

The heroes inside almost couldn't believe what they were seeing. To think the infamous villain, Reaper, actually saved a little girl from her abusive environment that it almost looked like he was the hero.

Of course, after taking Eri, EraserHead used his Quirk again as some of them tried to apprehend Kira but he just used his raw speed and disappeared there.

At the end of the night, Eri was taken to the hospital first, then they all informed the authorities about the possible massacre at Shie Hassaikai Compound. All of them noticed the look and tone of Kira when he mentioned that they will no longer hurt Eri but didn't elaborate it any more than that because of the presence of Eri there.

The next day the masses were all shocked by another massacre made by Reaper. Usually, they would all judge this as the whims of a mad villain but for some reason, they couldn't instead they decided to wait for more new information. Bit by bit, Reaper's image in their minds wasn't that of a villain but instead a vigilante so they trusted Reaper had a reason for doing this.

And he didn't disappoint them as, by lunchtime, a leak of new interesting information arrived. It turned out that the place Reaper massacred was a den for Yakuzas and like every time, the authorities couldn't suppress it even if they denied it to the public.

As the masses were informed of these facts, most of them unconsciously sighed in relief as they all thought they were right about Reaper that he wouldn't kill an innocent. In their own little twisted minds, they all subconsciously thought that a secured criminal is a dead criminal.

No matter how righteous they make themselves, including heroes and the authorities, when a villain appears and kills or hurts someone, whether that villain is captured or not, their hate accumulates for that said villain. The maximum punishment they could give was that the same villain would be locked in their cell for life or until they escape, that is, then the cycle repeats itself leaving those powerless individuals to their mercy again.

They might never admit it with themselves but deep within them, a desire that seeks justice and revenge on those criminals.

During all of this, Kira was busy creating new crazy recipes to keep himself busy. He did drop by Eri, discreetly that is, and there he found out that she would be adopted to the family of Chiyo Shuzenji (Recovery Girl).

Kira sighed in relief at that as he knew going to Nezu with this would've been a gamble but he knew he couldn't take care of Eri by himself especially if he's going for All For One's head.

As time passed, he didn't notice it was already afternoon as his employee, Yui, finally arrived shaking him from his thoughts.

Kira's relationship with Yui was strictly professional… in his mind that is. He did find some things weird about his employee but he reasoned with himself that maybe that's normal for a growing girl.

Some of those things are when she asks him to teach her baking, she would persist that he should guide her hands while standing behind her or when he asks Yui to taste his newest creation, she would demand that he should feed her personally. But one of the strangest things he noticed about Yui is that her nose always bleeds before closing the shop.

Anyone would've noticed her actions but not him, the reason for this is his system.

The system of his dampens his emotional intelligence to a degree in order to execute his kills with more precision. Kira might've realized it with himself but over time he just shrugged it off saying it doesn't harm him or anything. Due to this, Kira is basically dense on almost all emotional factors comparable to the level of a harem protagonist.

Kira welcomed his employee while mentioning his possible new recruit that might come later.

After a few more minutes, the door again opened and there stood a 13-year old kid that has a round face framed by a short mess of fluffy dark-green hair that sticks up at odd angles around his head with symmetrical freckles on his face while dressed in his school uniform but his face looked like it was beaten up for some reason.

"U-umm!! My name is Izuku Midoriya. My mother, Inko, told me about working here for a part-time job…. A-are you Kira Kagami?" Izuku asked timidly.

"Mmm, this is Yui Kodai, she is your senpai here. C'mon, I'll show you around," Kira nodded at him while Yui watched on from the side with her face not giving anything but a poker face watching them walking inside.

Kira showed Izuku around and after a few more minutes they came out with Izuku wearing an apron over his uniform.

Over time, Izuku became comfortable in Kira's shop that he regularly mumbles to himself and that he actually smiles even though the topic isn't about a hero. Izuku was the literal sense of a die-hard fan of anything relating to heroes but surprisingly, even for him, his trust in them is wavering due to the dirty laundries most of those heroes have going public except for his idol, All Might.

None may realize this but Izuku has a scary analytical mind, he could analyze the strengths and weaknesses of quirks but due to this discriminatory society, his gifts were never realized by anyone, even himself. It's no laughing matter when they say Quirkless people have very low self-esteem that most of them die due to suicide.

A peaceful week went by when they were all in the shop, three students came in with the one leading was a wild ash-blond student and immediately, Izuku became pale when he recognized who it was.

Everyone in the store noticed this except for Kira as he was tending something inside. Yui and three different regular customers curiously looked at him.

"Are you sure that damn Deku went in here!?" The ash-blond student asked aggressively towards his group.

"Yeah, I saw him three days ago going in here after school," One of them answered while looking everywhere.

They all looked everywhere but then they saw Izuku frozen stiff while at the counter. They all let out nasty grins then approached the now trembling Izuku.

"So! This is where you are, I gotta admit, you picked a nice place!! This suits ya useless nerd hahaha!" The ash-blond aka Katsuki Bakugo said while letting off smokes from his hands.

"K-k-k-ka-chan!!! W-what are you doing here!?" Izuku stuttered while backing away from his friend/bully.

"What! You think just because you're working here, I'm not allowed huh!!" Bakugo commented aggressively.

"N-n-n-no, O-o-of course not!! J-j-just y-y-you should leave while Boss is not here yet" Izuku honestly warned his former best friend.

"The hell you just said!!? What's his Quirk anyway!!?" Bakugo asked.

"U-u-um n-n-none… h-h-he's l-l-like me…" Izuku muttered out and when Bakugo and his group heard it, their reactions were predictable.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" 2x

"HAHAHAHA!! I knew it!! So that's why you're working here!! Because the owner is just a useless nobody just like you right!! HAHAHA!!" Bakugo mocked and laughed at Izuku while the two other guys behind him laughed as well.

Izuku didn't say anything and looked down while trembling. He wanted to speak up and defend his Boss but he thought that maybe after they had their fun, they would leave him be.

"Phew* That was a good laugh!! Now let's see, Bakery huh!" Bakugo commented while going to the lottery section of the store, all bread there were all named with question marks much to his curiosity.

"Deku!! What the hell are these!?" Bakugo yelled out loud while approaching it. He saw there was a warning sign 'Eat at your own caution' with no price tag in any of them.

"U-u-u-um, p-p-please choose something else…" Izuku meekly muttered.

"HUUUHHH!! YOU THINK YOU'RE THE BOSS OF ME, YOU USELESS DEKU!!" Bakugo replied aggressively then took one bread and directly ate it but he instantly spits it out while throwing the bread at the floor then stomping on it repeatedly.

At the same time, everyone at the store except for Bakugo and his group shuddered involuntarily. Yui narrowed her eyes on the actions of Bakugo and looked at him like a dead man.

"YOU B*STARD!! THAT WAS F*CKING DISGUSTING!! YOU USELESS DEKU MUST BE LOOKING DOWN ON ME HUH!!" Bakugo immediately turned to Izuku with his usual scowl on his face.

"N-n-no, y-y-you have to go before my boss comes here!!" Izuku warned them honestly but to Bakugo and his little groupie, it seemed like they were being chased out of there.

"HAH!! YOU THINK I'M SCARED OF SOME QUIRKLESS NOBODY LIKE YOU'RE BOSS!! BRING IT ON B*STARD! I AIN'T SCARED OF ANYTHING! I'M GONNA BE THE FUTURE NO.1 HERO!! HAHAHA!!" Bakugo yelled out, now some people started to look at them yelling but when they noticed it was Kira's place, they looked at them in pity.

Izuku didn't say anything more as he realized his friend/bully won't be listening to his advice but they took his silence as he was looking down on them.

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!!"

"YEAH! MAYBE YOU NEED ANOTHER BEATING HUH!!"

"Well? WHERE THE F*CK IS HE!!? ANSWER ME DEKU!!"

They all yelled at Izuku but surprisingly, he didn't tremble like earlier much to the curiosity of his bullies, and looked at them in pity.

They were about to yell some more when they felt someone was standing behind them. They curiously looked and there they saw a tall red-headed teen with red eyes looking down on them, literally.

Bakugo was about to yell again but Kira cut them off.

"Who was the one who spit and threw the bread on my floor?" Kira asked calmly as the store's atmosphere became chilly all of a sudden.

"Hah! That would be me!! You must be the owner! Your bread tastes like shiMmmmmm!!!" Bakugo proclaimed it like it was an accomplishment but again before he could continue his boast and trash talk, Kira's hand immediately went for Bakugo's mouth.

"Didn't you know, you should respect food… and why are you yelling?" Kira asked calmly while his grip on Bakugo's mouth became even tighter.

Bakugo scowled angrily at him then, placed both of his hands towards Kira's face.

"W-w-w-wait!! K-k-k-ka-chan!! DON'T!!" Izuku shouted quickly but Bakugo didn't give a shit and used his Quirk to blast Kira.

*Kurk!*

Before Bakugo could even think about it, Kira punched his gut while loosening his grip on his mouth.

Bakugo immediately hunched over in pain as his saliva started coming from his open mouth. His eyes were open wide as his arms wrapped around his stomach. He couldn't think straight as he fought the pain, he felt like a jackhammer just struck him in his guts.

Everyone there looked at this as Bakugo's two friends yelp in surprise as they backed away while Izuku immediately came to Bakugo's side.

Kira silently looked at Bakugo then he moved Izuku for a moment and he took hold of Bakugo's hair as he forced him to look him in the eye.

"I don't give a f*ck about you wanting to be a hero, make trouble in my shop again and I'll cripple your ass… take your little friends with you and get out," Kira muttered to him while looking at his anger-filled eyes but Kira didn't care as he let go of his hair and walked over to the counter.

Bakugo wanted to curse but when he looked at Kira's eyes, he wasn't sure how but he felt he was serious and he might never admit it with himself but he felt weak in front of Kira. So he opted to stay quiet instead and nurse his stomach while he swore he would get back at him in the future.

"Izuku led those three outside, those who don't respect their food don't belong here," Kira said with his back turned as tended towards his customers.

Ironically, Bakugo's so-called friends immediately bolted out of there leaving an injured Bakugo.

Bakugo noticed this as he gritted his teeth in frustration but as he was monologuing about his weakness, Izuku came to him and aided him out of the store then walked towards the local clinic.

Bakugo was so surprised that he didn't manage to react for a few seconds but when he did, he immediately pushed away Izuku in annoyance.

"F*CK OFF DEKU!! I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!!" Bakugo shouted out as he hunched over in pain.

"I'm going to be the #1 hero someday and as the #1 hero, I don't need any f*cking help! Especially from a useless Deku!" Bakugo raged out as he stood up staggering to his feet and tried to walk away.

Izuku stood there as he remembered all of the things Bakugo did to him, all of the burns, scars, and bruises he gave him but for the life of him, he can't look at the other way. Even though he knew it was idiotic for him to help someone like Bakugo, he can't just change his nature.

Bakugo only took a few steps ahead when Izuku came to his aid again much to his frustration thinking that Izuku was looking down on him but before he could shove Izuku again, he cut him off.

"I k-k-k-know y-y-y-your g-g-g-going t-t-to b-b-be a hero and d-d-don't need my help but still… I-i-i w-w-w-want to help you," Izuku stuttered towards his bully.

"Grrrr… Fine… just this once… BUT DON'T THINK THIS CHANGES ANYTHING!! YOU HEAR ME DEKU!!" Bakugo shouted as he let Izuku help him walk. Normally he would be pissed at Izuku for something like this but due to the pain in his stomach, he wound barely suppressed it.

"That bastard!! I thought you said… he was like you, Quirkless. You-" Bakugo wanted to say more and accuse Izuku of tricking but he was cut off.

"H-h-h-he is though. He showed me his small toe and it looked similar to mine… 3 days ago, a 25 armed gangsters came to the store and threatened the Boss and his store…I was scared back then that Boss sent me away to quickly call for the police and any hero nearby but as soon I returned… I saw all 25 of those guys, all on the floor, groaning in pain, outside of the store… I was so sure some hero came and beat those guys but when I asked the people who were there, I learned that my Boss did all that by himself… so I asked him how he became strong…" Izuku said as they saw the clinic.

Bakugo didn't say anything and just looked at Izuku.

"He said to me 'Help yourself. Don't expect someone to save you. You must first desire strength, otherwise, you will never have it.'... For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to become a hero but now I just realized… I never did anything… from the moment I heard from the doctor that I was Quirkless, I just stopped trying… but now I saw someone like Boss… I know you would be furious about this but I'm still gonna say it, I'm going to become a hero like you someday!!" Izuku said with all of his determination as Bakugo stared at him.

Usually, Izuku should be stuttering by now but Bakugo saw he was more serious about this more than his usual half-ass baked mumblings.

"YOU DARE SAY THAT TO ME YOU B*STARD!... YOUR YOU AND I'M ME, YOU'LL NEVER BECOME ME! SO BE JUST YOUR GODDAMN SELF, YOU F*CKER!!" Bakugo yelled at Izuku's ear.

Izuku stopped for a moment then looked at his scowling friend, he couldn't help but chuckle lightly at Bakugo.

"YOU LAUGHING AT ME!? I'LL KILL YOU! YOU NERD!!" Bakugo shouted as Izuku ignored him and helped him to enter the clinic.
