1 Rebirth

Black. In a seemingly endless void laid a flickering white flame.

That same flame was our MC's soul.

'I guess I am dead. So where is Heaven or hell? Is this what happens after death?' Our MC contemplated life in this void.

Slowly, his soul started to dissipate after a countless amount of days and finally when the soul was so weak and at its wits end, a bright light appeared shining the entire void.

"I apologise, soul, as I was finishing the SL novel I forgot about you." a voice chuckled.

'Just kill me...' the soul, after being alone for so long had basically lost all his will.

"Again, I apologise, as a gift I will allow you 5 wishes and a world in which you can reincarnate into."

Immediately our favorite soul flickered brightly, if it had a tail, it would be wagging extremely quickly.

"Ahem. Thank you Mr. Light. I would like to be reincarnated into the Solo Leveling universe. And do my wishes have limits?" the soul asked.

"Yes, you can't ask to be immediately OP so if you wish for something like that I will limit it. You can only gain strength through time." He replied

"Alright, I would first like to be born as the older brother of Cha Hae-In by 2 years. I would like a system which allows me to buy techniques, bloodlines, powers, basically anything with enough points. I would like the devouring ancestral symbol which allows me to devour all types of energy and use it to gain EXP or power. I would like the strongest scythe in the entire universe which will increase my strength every time I kill. Finally, I want to create my own appearance." the soul spoke.

"All of it is possible except for the strongest scythe. I will give you a scythe that will be (Evolvable) so it will grow with you every time it kills. For now create your own appearance. You will have that appearance once you are 18 years old." The voice spoke

I created a tall and lean yet muscular body with extremely dark black hair which was almost shining along with silver eyes which seemed like you would be sucked into them if you stared too long. Satisfied with my appearance I thanked the Light and he sent me off after telling me he would awake my memories and system after 2 years.

2 years later

A boy with very dark black hair and unusual silver eyes was seen running to the hospital room almost tripping because he was going too fast. This was obviously because the boy's mother was about to give birth.

(1 hour later)

"wahhh... wahhhh..." a baby's crying voice could be heard.

The boy slowly crept up to the baby and stared at the baby in the eyes. The baby seemed in a trance after seeing the boy's silver eyes and stopped crying. Suddenly, the boy felt an excruciating pain and passed out shocking everyone in the room.

[System initializing...]
