Some days later
[Kara's Fun House]
In the funhouse of Kara, many experiments happened there. Criminals, animals, and more get held within its walls.
Their use? To be experimented upon, of course!
Like the varying difference in the bodies of an E-Rank to an S-Rank, an example is the awakened potential just random for every Hunter?
Well, the answer to that would be the overall bodies of humans. Some are just more attuned to mana than others. In short, random as can be, for now.
Humans are new to mana, so the concept of Hunter marriage is still new. Take, for example, My Hero Academia's quirk marriage.
Anyway, the experiments happening within these walls are horrid. No family member of Kara is allowed here, even Aela.
Currently, Kara is experimenting on the body of the captured Duke. His body didn't contain the typical mana core of the other humans. He had mana veins. It's what Kara calls it.
You see, the difference between humans of Barithea and Earth is that every human on Barithea has a mana core. Similar to what Kara made for Aela.
The reason for this? Kara chalked it up to evolution to properly store mana. And now, this Duke has Mana Veins inside of his body.
"[Remove Stasis]" Almost immediately, the Duke's consciousness returned. "Wh-Where am I!?" fear evident within his voice.
Scanning the room with his eyes, it landed on Kara's figure. "Y-YOU! ST-STAY BACK! DAMN DEMON!" quickly backed to the walls of the house, shrinking in horror.
"Sigh, I better use the slave seal that I made from analyzing the others, I guess," Kara lazily said. She removed every slave seal from the non-human races and analyzed it. Kara even improved it by adding some brainwashing aspects to it.
The extra features stimulate the hypothalamus, the one responsible for releasing and producing dopamine. Making the bearer under its effect feel pleasure or happy in the orders given to them.
"[Calm], let's calm you first then," slowly, the shivering Duke calmed down. After doing so, Kara slapped the improved slave seal onto his nape.
"Alright, let's test this. [Tell me your worst secret]." Kara stood there waiting. "I play myself with the pommel of my sword!" the Duke enthusiastically answered.
Kara stood there emotionlessly. "Should have expected that. Anyway, [do you know your mana core differs from everyone else's?]." Kara has already read the Duke's memories but didn't spot any magical surgeries of the sort.
"I do not!" He answers with a smile, slightly irritating Kara. 'Hm, maybe the spell produces too much dopamine? He's smiling at everything.'
"[Stasis]" And once again, Kara induced him in a stasis spell. After doing so, she went towards another prisoner of the funhouse.
Every prisoner in the funhouse is a criminal Hunter, so no one would mind them missing.
Seeing the Hunter frozen under Stasis, she undid the spell. Not surprisingly, the Hunter was confused with his situation.
However, he's chained up to enchanted cuffs that constantly absorb mana from a person, rendering them unable to use any awakened abilities.
She didn't care for what happened within the person's thoughts and redid the procedure of giving the Hunter a mana core, the same as Aela.
"ARHHHGHHHH!" He screamed. The procedure hurts like a bitch, after all. The only reason Aela didn't feel pain was because of the supportive spells Kara did to Aela.
Within half an hour, the procedure finished. However, the Hunter passed out because of the pain. "Now, let's recreate those mana veins, shall we?"
Casting a spell within her eyes, she could see the insides of the person in front of her. After some minor adjustments, the circulatory system was she could see.
With the manipulation of mana, she manipulated the core and transformed them into strings. Of course, it awoke the guy.
"URAAKKKGGGHH!" his screams were something else, even for a person getting tortured.
Kara was trying to copy the mana veins of the Duke. The Duke's mana veins were like a thin film of crystalized mana encasing the circulatory system.
"Since I'm also doing this for Aela, I need to find spells that erase the pain," Kara mused as she ignored the wailing sounds of a banshee.
She tried [Body fortification]; it simply strengthens the body, and almost immediately, the shout lowered by a bit. The man was still grunting, unfortunately.
Seeing that it didn't work, she tried healing him constantly. And instantly, the man stopped shouting and thrashing from his spot.
"Oh, that works!" Kara exclaimed and was already 40% finished with the procedure.

However, once Kara reached the brain, it all of a sudden exploded. Painting the walls and other experimented in brain matter.
"I guess fortifying the bran is a must process too, but let's see if we can still save this fellow," Kara pondered, not caring for the brain matter all over her.
Taking a concentrated healing potion improved by some barks of the World Tree, then splashed its contents onto the headless body. Like magic, the head regrew to its perfect form.
Curiously, Kara scanned the memories, and as expected. No memories, a clean slate.
"Let's resume the experiment! [Fortify Brain]"
Moments later.
Blood and goo oozed out of the man's orifice, "So, fortify didn't let the brain explode, but it still couldn't do it." The failed process sent Kara reflecting.
"Let's try Stasis. It stops everything within a body. Yup, it should work!"
And so, Kara did just that. Though, she had to heal him once more, poor soul.
Another moment.
"[Remove Stasis]!" undoing the spell, and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
"Shit. I think this guy's braindead! Was the instantaneous change too much? Or is it because this is Earth's human limitation?"
With those words, it suddenly enlightened Kara.
"Yes. Yes! Human limitation! I should change their race to escape the shackles of the human body! Even Sung Jin-Woo couldn't fully utilize Ashborn's power without discarding his human heart!"
AN: For those that don't know; when SJW died. His heart got pierced, but the [Black Heart] wasn't. The Black Heart made Sung Jin-Woo's body become part Monarch/Ruler.
Finally, having a goal, Kara set off to find a book about racial change. 'Maybe Aela and Mama can become part Flugel even! Papa can become part Dragon!' she excitedly thought.
As Kara went off to her new library to search for books, her family was getting toured around the floating cities by Think.
"Wow! Mama, Baba, look! Cats ears!" Aela frantically pointed at a passing Demi-human. Though, this did earn her a slight scolding from Laura.
"Aela, do not point at other people. It's rude, so please don't do that again, okay?" Laura's words brought clarity to Aela's mind, and her skin went tomato red from how she shamefully acted.
AN: There's tomato red, mustard yellow, but there isn't any Ketchup red? Anyone else thought of this?
"Haha! It's very much alright, Lady Andre. We are happy that Lady Aela does not look at us with disgust. Her excitement was a refreshing change for us." Think explained.
"Disgusts? Why would we look at you with disgust?" butting into the topic, Thomas asked. His size made some residents think that he had giant blood within him.
And those very residents are of varying races, mind you.
"Well, in the other world we are from, humans only look at us as if mere tools to do their bidding. That is why Lady Aela's attitude towards us brought smiles to our faces."
Within Think's words, Thomas and Laura heard some weird parts.
'other world? It seems Kara needs some explaining to do.' They thought. Kara didn't explain anything and said that everything would become a surprise.
A surprise, indeed.
"I see. I'm sorry you had to experience that." Hearing this, Think smiled and proceeded on with the tour.
"And if you look over to the next island, you can see the World Tree. Well, I'm sure you have already noticed it upon your arrival."
"Is it a magical tree!? Why is it so huge!?" Aela barraged Think with questions like a little child.
"It is! The World Tree blesses everything! The air, land, and mana. It strengthens and cleanses them at the same time!" Think proudly said; she was happy that the World Tree was back so soon.
"No wonder the air is so refreshing here. It practically tastes sweet even," Laura said as she breathed in deeply. The air around their Colorado estate is clean, but when compared near the World Tree is just leagues above.
"Mama, Baba, let's live here! There's even a lot of children here!" Aela circled them joyfully. Everything within this place is just so new to her that it's overwhelming.
"Oh! If you're ever planning to relocate, the palace in the middle of this city is just right for your family." Think pointed to the majestic castle that overlooked everything, except for the World Tree, of course.
Laura seeing the castle, had a twitch to her eyes. 'Walking around the house would already be counted as exercise at this point.'
Thomas, who was quiet, asked, "Where's Kara, by the way? I would think she would be with us on this tour."
Think hearing this could only dryly laugh, "Ha. Ha. Ha. You see, Lady Kara is somewhat preoccupied with reading books as of this moment. But, I shall still bring you. She should be at the World Library or World Tree."
"Ah! I see. No, it's not needed. It's been her hobby to read since young. We shall continue o-!" before her could finish his statement, he was interrupted with a familiar voice!
"I am here! Think, thanks for bringing my family around, but I'll take it from here!" the voice of Kara said as she appeared out of nowhere.
"Dear! I thought you were reading? What brought you here?"
"Big sis! Let's live here!"
Seeing the center of everything appearing, she got questions flying her way.
"Hey, Mama! No, I left my clone to read. I came to spend time with family; I won't miss it, after all! Aela, ask Mama and Papa first. They have jobs." Kara answered every question swiftly.
"Let's-!" Before she could quickly shift the topic, Laura spoke, wanting to know everything that had happened at this point. "Kara White, young lady, what have you been up to these past few days? You now have flying cities, and the next thing you might do is kill God."
"Careful with what you saw, Mama!" Kara added, she's going to be killing Monarchs. So, divine beings, at least.
"B-Big sis! You have boobies now!" out of nowhere, Aela came and squished the mounds of Kara, making her blush.
Kara had altered her breast sizes to a C-cup these past few days. She even tried larger sizes for fun but ultimately settled for C since they didn't hinder combat.
'That reminds me!' She immediately casts a memory wiping spell onto herself and everyone around her. The details on the magic spell are simply removing their memory of Kara's breast size. So, once they look at her buppies, their brain would naturally fill the gap in memory.
"Eh? Why am I holding onto Big Sis' boobies?" Aela thought and quickly removed her hands from them, earning her an awkward look from everyone.
"*Ahem* Let's go. I'll take you to the World Tree next!" Kara didn't want to know why her sister was grabbing onto them. Hence immediately changing the subject.
And so, that was how the family spent their day.
