10 Testing of Potion
[Scavenger Guild]
Thomas Andre, a doting father of two and married to a loving wife, has just called in a guild meeting.
The content of the meeting was not told, but the importance was high.
When the scheduled time arrived, all members of the Scavenger Guild have arrived at the venue.
The guild comprised around 50 skilled Hunters, 5 of which are S-Ranks.
They divide those 50 skilled hunters into teams; there are teams where Thomas himself leads.
However, some teams deal with lower-ranked gates as well.
Thomas himself usually clears A-Rank gates alone since he is confident in clearing them; he only joins raids whenever he analyzes their performance.
Anyway, as of now, the said members have gathered.
"Master, what's the reason for the meeting?" one of them asked.
"Settle down, first. I'll speak once all are listening." Thomas said; his attitude when he's at work and home is night and day.
He'd even take pictures with his daughters after his face gets covered in flour, but at work? Opposite.
At the guild, he's the King; his words are an order, not a suggestion.
When the members heard their Guild Master speak, they started gushing themselves.
Thomas, satisfied, began talking about guild performance before going to the main topic.
[After several topics later]
"Now, onto the main topic.
My eldest daughter, Kara, has made a bonafide health potion.
I want one of you to try it, it's already been tested"
Thomas lied about it being tested, but he trusts his daughter's hard work.
[Flashback]
"Papa! Can you feed this to your members?" Kara asked with puppy dog eyes.
Kara even used her angelic wings as an added bonus.
"Anything for you, princess," Thomas instantly responded, not questioning the authenticity of it.
[Flashback Ends~]
"PUAHAHAHAHA!"
However, when Thomas finished speaking, the newly hired A-Rank Fighter laughed at what he said.
When those around him heard the laughter, they gulped and slowly stepped away.
Laura who was present within the meeting sighed and slowly shook her head; she was the one who scouted him.
All the veterans within the room knew how their Master was when it comes to his daughters; they were everything to him.
And this newly hired Hunter dares to laugh at his daughter's creation? HERESY!
The Hunters within the room didn't take the so-called potion seriously, but they don't dare to mock it.
"Care to share what's so funny?" Thomas asked calmly; damn.
Thomas was so furious that he calmed down instead.
"-HAHAHAHA, I-I'm sorry Master Andre. However, to think that the Master of this prestigious guild believes in the creations of potions, HAHAHAHA!" the man reasoned and laughed.
"I see, thank you for volunteering then," Thomas said and looked at the others "He volunteered, right?"
The other members quickly nodded, even though it was a blatant lie.
"Good. [Capture]" was all Thomas said before a strong force pulled laughing Hunter, but now choked Hunter towards him.
"Uack!" the Hunter struggled but was effortlessly brought towards Thomas.
*Woosh!*
*Crack!*
A single punch from Thomas sent bones within the Hunter cracking, "Do you want to CRACK a joke now? HAHAHAHA!" Thomas laughed, all the while staring at the Hunter through his sunglasses.
*Shieekk!*
"ARccCckKKK!"
Thomas proceeded to rip the Hunter's legs and arms from the body, leaving the bloody mess.
Members, seeing this, are stunned; stunned of how easy it was to rip an A-Rankers limb off.
Seeing the squirming body of a Hunter sent shivers down their spine; a human with arms and legs was basically a worm.
Not wanting to waste his human resource; he poured the contents of the vial into the Hunter's mouth.
Thomas treats his members like property, something to be cared for, but also expendable.
That's what he learned over the years, and it has brought results, positive ones.
Soon, a red glow enveloped both of the Hunter's stumps; they formed into human legs and arms.
When the glow faded, they revealed a healthy set of limbs.
"I-Impossible!"
"Amazing!"
"Master, the Scavenger Guild will become famous!"
The members praised Thomas but were stopped by Thomas himself.
"I have no part in this, only my daughter. If she chooses to sell it, then I will help her," he said, pouring water over their heads.
'If you sh-ts think you will get this for free, think again!' Thomas thought.
This was his daughter's hard work; he could already see the greedy eyes of the members.
"But, Master, we must sell this at once! We could attract-!" before the Hunter could finish his sentence, Thomas flared his aura.
"Keep in line, none of this will get out, yet. If a tiny bit of news even spills, I do not mind eradicating an entire guild.
Remember where you stand; any news of this will affect my family.
And I will bring your families into the fold too if word of this disturbs my family"
Thomas straight-up threatened them.
Now everyone was wide-eyed, all thoughts of even sharing the info to the Hunter's Association was thrown out of the window.
Thomas's words were saying if one of them betrays the other, then all of them will be brought in.
[Moments later]
"Hun, must you really go that route?" Laura asked curiously; she was light of reason within their household; Thomas is the spoiler.
"I need to; the last thing I want is the government hounding after Kara and our family.
Kara is still a child; she might not know the danger of releasing such things to the world.
We don't even know if it can cure incurable diseases.
But I will protect our family, no matter who is standing in front of our way. I wouldn't want Kara's curiosity to dampen because of human greed."
As Thomas said that, he received a soft kiss from Laura.
"Thank you for providing for our family every day, Thomas," Laura said lovingly.
Thomas smiled and quietly leaned in to kiss Laura, eventually it became a make-out session.
[Moments later...]
"Ahhn Hmng! Thomas! Mhnm!" Laura said who had her entire body pressed on the table, at the same time being pounded from behind.
"Y-You Mhnm are going Ahnn...to kill me~" the size difference between the two was massive, a good thing she was an awakened S-Rank.

"Hngg~! The kids need Mhnm~ dinner!" Laura reasoned, but she too was enjoying it.
"Don't worry...arh...I called pizza for them" Thomas explained.
*PACK*
"AHHhhmnng~!"
Thomas gave a powerful smack onto the juicy plump behinds of Laura, who was positioned doggy.
"This will be a long night~" Thomas happily said.

The sudden doorbell disturbed Aela, who was watching television with Fluffy.
But the said doorbell means that someone is at the villa gates, and not their parents.
"I wonder who's that?" Aela said in her child-like voice.
'Sister isn't at home, she's probably in the forest,' she thought.
Aela checked on the nearby intercom, which revealed a pizza delivery man with 10 boxes of pizzas.
"PIZZA! Fluffy, let's go!" Aela hurried Fluffy off the couch.
"Growl~" Fluffy said lazily.
"What do you mean, too tired? If you're too tired, then no food!" what Aela said was effective, Fluffy quickly stood up.
Fluffy, who wanted to already eat, grabbed Aela with his tail; he can decrease his size, appropriate for the house.
When the two got out of the house, Fluffy returned to his normal size, as tall as a door!
"Hehe! Fluffy, faster!" Aela said as she clutched onto Fluffy's fur.
Fluffy, however, did not follow since he knew Aela would get blown away. Aela getting hurt would plant a target on his back.
Within breaths, the duo arrived at the massive gates of the estate.
The pizza delivery guy who was this was stunned; he saw a two-horned white tiger, peering at him.
"Damn... must be the magic mushrooms that Fred got for me in the dungeons.
Now, I'm imagining monsters in front of me, if there's a sign to quit; this is it!"
The man said and placed the boxes of pizzas on the ground, "F this job, if I have to take magic shrooms, then maybe this job isn't so great anyway!"
Aela who was watching this scene play out was confused, "F this job? What does that mean? Fluffy does that mean you?" she asked curiously.
Fluffy said nothing, he grabbed the boxes of pizza and hurriedly ran back home.
When the two got home, they saw Kara, laying on the couch.
"Big sis! You're here!" Aela happily jumped to her sister; Aela trusted her sister that she will float to her...that's some trust.
"Where'd you go, Aela? I was so worried that you suddenly left the house!" Kara said as she placed Aela within her embrace.
Aela is being taught the dangers of stranger danger, and that going out of the house is not allowed when alone.
"But you rarely stay at home! I get lonely so I play with Fluffy more now," Aela reasoned, her words struck Kara, however.
'Sigh, how can I be so insensitive. I may be fine alone because of my mental age, but Aela isn't!' Kara was mad at her current daily routine. She has been reading and experimenting a lot, and may have spent little time with Aela.
"Sorry, Aela. Can you forgive your Big Sister?"
"Can we sleep together again? I miss those!" Aela bargained.
'Haah...truly blessed, I should cherish my family more'
"You just need to say and big sister will do it. Why don't you make potions with sister next time?" Kara invited Aela because Aela has been curious about what her big sister does
"Really!? No take-backs!" Aela said and charged for the pizzas, leaving Kara to her own thoughts.
"I wonder what's the flavor? Probably pepperoni~"
