7 Chapter 7: Vacation (Edited)
(Mc's Pov)
After the gate incident yesterday I realized I needed to get stronger, if even a single goblin can do that much damage to me how do I hope to stop Kamish from killing my parents. So for the next few months I trained very hard, and my mana reaching intermediate D-Rank but I hit a wall and improving has been difficult in my space abilities.
Today Lily and uncle Kaleb came over, and asked my parents if they want to go on vacation to South Korea with them. To which my mother and father agreed to go and I also wanted to go to relax and get my mind off training and the future a bit, and so a few weeks later we were in South Korea.
We got to the hotel and settled down for a few hours before we left to the amusement park, Lily and I were happy to hear we are going to one, Lily wanted to ride the Carousel and I wanted to ride the roller coasters, but I was to small to ride them.
While we were on the Carousel are parents were taking pictures of us, and trying there best to embarrass us, which worked as my face felt like it was burning.
(3rd Pov)
"Leo lets go play some games like shoot the targets." said Lily in a excited voice, she wanted to show Leo she was better than him at that since she always won a prize in this game.
"Ok, ok just stop pulling me around I can walk on my own." said Leo, a bit annoyed she kept pulling him places.
When they got to the booth they payed and Lily went first, she hit four out of the six targets and got a small bear. "Dang it I wanted the large stuffed bear, Leo let me go again please." said Lily with puppy dog eyes which would have worked but Leo had other thoughts in his mind.
"No let me do it I don't want you to waste a turn." said Leo with a smile, he was happy Lily and him seemed to grow closer after the gate incident, she even learned puppy dog eyes to get what she wants from him, of course the reason he said no to her was that he wanted to win the bear for her.(A/N: I will make a poll for love interest at the end of the chapter.)
"Fine just don't lose to bad, and if you some how win with your terrible skill get me that bear." said Lily with a pout, as she pointed at the bear she wanted.
"Ok" said Leo
He got ready and coated each shot with mana to control it and hit all the targets, he then turned to the stunned Lily and said with a smug look "See not so hard now is it?", to which Lily just turned away and pouted making Leo laugh.
"HAahaha, ok ok here" said Leo as he handed her the huge stuffed bear that is bigger than him.
"Thank you Leo." said Lily in a whisper.
"What was that I cant hear youuuu?" questioned Leo in a teasing voice, with his hand to his ear.
"I said Thank You!" yelled Lily, with a red face in embarrassment.
"Ok kids since you guys are done here what's next." asked Kaleb seeing them finish up there little quarrel.
After that they went around to the other rides they could and also met up with Leo's parents after there little date. They ended the day on the Ferris wheel after that they went to get some diner, and then went back to the hotel then went to sleep after the day of fun.
The next day they went around the city sightseeing, Lily and Kaleb went somewhere else, as we were walking by an ice cream shop I happened to notice a boy who looked about 7 and was very familiar.
"Mom, Dad can we get some ice cream please" said Leo with puppy dog eyes he learned from Lily.
Sarah and John looked at each other and didn't know weather to laugh or cry, there son had picked up some good tricks from Lily. "Sure lets get some Ice cream." said John in a reluctant voice, he couldn't resist his son when he asks like that.
They went inside and found a table and ordered while waiting Leo said "I have to use the restroom ill be back." his parents just nodded.
On his way to the restroom he sat onto the chair in front of the youth he saw earlier, "Hi my name is Night Leo what's your name?" asked Leo, stretching out his hand as he thought 'good thing I had mother teach me other languages since I was 3'
The boy looked up and was surprised to see someone come out of nowhere and ask for his name, "Uh my name is Sung Jinwoo nice to meet you Leo" said Jinwoo as he shook his hand with a smile, he happy someone came to talk to him.
"Nice to meet you too Jinwoo, so want to be friends" asked Leo, he didn't expect to meet Jinwoo here of all places.
"Sure lets be friends" said Jinwoo, as he thought 'Leo sounds nice it won't hurt to be friends with him'.
As they were going to continue talking they heard a voice "Jinwoo are you ready to leave and go home?" asked Jinwoo's mother.
"Well Leo looks like I have to leave lets meet in the future" said Jinwoo as he left.
'Yeah we will and I hope not as enemies.' thought Leo, as he went back to his parents, After Leo ate his ice cream they left and did a bit more looking around before going back to the hotel for the day.
