6 Burning Heart

{Trial of the Eternal Flame starts}

He sees a flash of light and it starts.

Fire everywhere.

A flash of surprise could be seen in his eyes as he hasn't completed this inheritance in his last life.

He quickly closes his mouth as the flames invade it. They are trying to conquer every last bit of his body.

Even he can't help but to let out a scream to negate a bit of his pain, just to immediately regret it. He is going to die, no question about it.....

As time goes by he wonders why his release, of his pain, hasn't occurred yet. He looks around. His eyes are already forced open as his eyelids are halfway of. His vision has a few black dots in them but he can make out that he is at the edge of the safe zone, which is about 50 meters/ 164 feet from a very bright middle.

The safe zone passive is still active!

He sits down crossed-legged and endures as he tries to meditate.

....

He awakes. His skin now having a pink tint. He ignores the system notifications as he proceeds to the ever-brighter looking middle without even coming close to questioning his actions.

He has to avoid making the same mistakes again! Bowing before a challenge will not be accepted as the avoided challenge turns up the difficulty for future ones. Running away is not going to be an option! For he shall face his problems head-on!

Before he knows it he had reached the bright white flame, which has a certain wildness and proudness in it.

All the inheritances are also testing a person's character throughout the trial. The eternal flame represents the unwillingness to bow down and the craziness to go through with it.

Part of the flame excepts his outstretched hand as it splits up with its main body and flies straight for his heart.
