4 CHAPTER 4 : Leveling up / Grinding
After Fujimo escapes Draiken finds himself trapped in a corner by the two monster orcs.
Draiken" What am I gonna do ?
The monster orc moves closer to him and starts attacking with his bat for a second Arasugi struggles to keep up but then finally gets used to it and then he starts thinking to himself.
Draiken" (I can't keep on dodging forever I need to find an opening so I can go on the offence.)
In an instant something in Draiken's mind clicks then he suddenly remembers about the half broken sword and goblin dagger in his inventory and he chooses to leave the dagger and takes out the half broken sword to fight the two monster orcs.
Draiken" Finally now I've got a weapon, I can finally fight back. Well I guess it's time I need you guys to fight with all your will and entertain me some more or else if you bore me even a little you'll die a gruesome painfull death.
As he says these words his eyes get a sudden glimmer of death and suddenly change colour. The two orcs in front of him start to become scared and the system reacts again.

For a moment Draiken is surprised by this recent development and overwhelmed by power presses YES, then suddenly the caves colour changes and Draiken starts to grin. Without thinking Draiken starts fighting and he goes for the kill but misses. All of a sudden Fujimo enters with some help.
Shoji" Where is he ?
Fujimo" OVER THERE
Without paying any attention to the help that's arrived Arasugi focuses on the fight in front of him
Draiken" Now look at what you did, you should stay still, because of you I missed now instead of giving you a quick death I'll make it slow and painful.
Then Draiken starts flashing around moving as fast as lighting to the extent that the orcs can no longer keep up with him. He starts by taking out the first orcs legs and then follows with its hands.
Shoji" WHAT THE HELL THAT GUY DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HE NEEDS OUR HELP, INSTEAD ITS LIKE THE ORCS NEED HELP FIGHTING AGAINST HIM.
Tokazawa" What rank did you say he was in?
Fujimo" According to the information he gave us he is an E-Rank Hunter, could it be that he lied about his Rank.
Shoji" If that's true he must be a Hunter Killer or a Fake Ranker.
Fujimo" What's that ?
Shoji" Its self explanatory, Hunter Killers are people who hide and lie about their true Rank in order to enter lower rank dungeons with lower rank hunters and after that they often have a little fun for themselves by killing and annihilated their whole party not for money but just for the thrill of it as for Fake Rankers they are people who hide their true ranks to enter low Rank dungeons and plunder them but they are different they don't kill, they just do it for the money.
Fujimo" That sounds sick.
Tokazawa" Yeah those bastards are really sick and the worst thing is that even though they commit these mass crimes they are never caught because noone knows who they are.
Shoji" Enough about that if he really is a HK he'll either die by the hands of those monsters or we'll just kill him ourselves.
On the other hand Draiken goes for the finishing blow that breaks the orcs skull open then the other one starts to run away. Arasugi starts to grin again putting his deathly gaze on the other monster.
Draiken" Where do you think you running off to, I'm not done having fun with you like you did with my friend ?
In a flash he appears infront of the monster and splits its stomach open with his bare hands.
Tokazawa" Wow that guy is really dangerous. If we wanna kill him we should probably act now.
Draiken" Kill who ?
In a moment of fear Tokazawa talks to himself.
Tokazawa" How the hell did he get behind me so fast and this killing intent how can it be so strong it's as if its swallowing my soul whole. This guy is dangerous, we'll never be able to kill him and I feel like he can take on an S-Rank hunter head on.
Draiken" You guys should probably get out of here fast.
Fujimo" Why ??
Draiken" Seems like those two weren't the bosses and a huge swarm of orcs the same level as those ones are coming this way is coming this way.
Shoji" How do you know all of this ??
Draiken" Its a hunch.
Shoji" So we supposed to believe a hunch.
Draiken" Well suite yourselves if you want to die here then stay.
Tokazawa" Shoji he's probably right I kinda sense a faint scent of middle and low class monsters coming this way.
Shoji" Damnit we should probably go report this it might cause a Dungeon Break and that could cause alot of casualties. Let's Go.
They start running towards the entrance of the cave to the Dungeon Gate.
Fujimo" Arent you coming with us ?
Draiken" No I think I'm gonna stay behind and hold them back for a while until you get some more help to deal with them and maybe grind a little bit.
Fujimo" Ok well, I just wanted to say thank you Draiken.
Draiken" For what ?
Fujimo" For coming back for me even when the other guys from the party left and for risking your life in the process to save me, thanks for that.
Draiken" No prob I was just trying to help out.
Fujimo" Well I know these are not much but take them they might help you survive what's about to come.
Fujimo throws 4 bottles of red liquid inside.
Draiken" Thanks
Fujimo" Just don't die in here, ok ?
Arasugi" I won't.
He then suddenly thinks to himself
Draiken" (If I were to be honest this is like that time in the double lair dungeon, the odds were against us and we had no fighting chance but this time its different nobody died and I'm becoming alot stronger by killing these monsters also I'll make sure noone else I hold close ever dies while I'm still alive). "Well here they come I guess it's time.
He checks his stats again to see for any improvements.

Draiken" Woah I guess this really is like a video game the more monsters i kill the more i get experience points and the more I level up. With these experience points I guess I can invest them on improving one of these.

Draiken" For this upcoming fight I guess I'll put in more points in strength and agility so that I can kill these monsters fast with one kill.Well I guess here they come, time to get to work.
