11 Chapter 11 : Bonds That Can't Be Broken
As they walk through the Netherworld to the castle they stop at a ruin like location, then the Demon Lord takes out a key and sticks it into the air. Soon a Gate appears out of nowhere revealing the place they reside in and their Kingdom.
Draiken" Hey Valdek are we still in the Netherworld ?
Demon Lord Valdek" Yes this is just a branch or as you call it another level of the tower, the one below was just a battlefield with lots of valuable treasure left from the war, including that Temple and its Spirit Water.
Draiken" Awww ok I get it. So what floor are we in right now.
Demon Lord Valdek" Since we used my Demon key we skipped straight to the final stage of the lower level, as you like to say the boss room.
Draiken" So does that mean I have to kill you in order to obtain the next key to this tower ?
Demon Lord Valdek" Yes
Demon Grug talking lightly to Demon Lord Valdek" My lord I suggests we kill him after he finishes the ritual that way you don't have to die.
Demon Lord Valdek" Foolish servant do you really think a human can make it as far as the 7th Level of the Netherworld if he was weak ?
Do you think he would annihilate all those clans and make it here without even losing any limbs.
Demon Grug" No my lord
Demon Lord Valdek" Exactly so the least I can do is save my people from dying out by his hand.
Demon Grug" That's so noble of you my lord.
Demon Lord Valdek" Young noble master please come this way.
They enter Valdek's castle and go straight to his daughters room.
Draiken" How long has she been in that state ?
Demon Lord Valdek" She has been like this for two years now.
Draiken" Ok so how do I do this ritual.
Demon Lord Valdek" You have to drink the Spirit Water from the Fountain, mix the herbs we provided then you have to let her suck your blood.
Draiken" Like a Vampire.
Demon Lord Valdek" Ofcourse we're not animals, you will have to let her suck a little of your blood that way she can suck the medicinal remedies with the spirit Water altogether.
Draiken" Does this ritual have any side effects on me
Demon Lord Valdek" No.
They go to a basement like dungeon with ancient writings on the wall and floor and at the top of an alter like stature there's a Demon like god with a balance scale.
Draiken" What's that supposed to be.
Demon Lord Valdek" Nothing too important, just the god we idolize
Draiken" Ok no more wasting time, let's begin this ritual.
Demon Lord Valdek" Sorry to say we won't be here any longer, the instructions for the ritual are on the stone tablet next to the statue.
They exit the Dungeon like basement.
Draiken" Damn I really don't know what I should do, how do i even read this. It doesn't make any sense, what language is this ?

Draiken" This system thing seems to be really useful, but I still can't read the last sentence of this stone tablet, maybe it has something to do with my Intelligence stat, I wonder what other hidden factors this system has hidden.
He looks at the girl.
Draiken" To be honest for a Demon princess girl she's pretty cute, too bad she'll hate me because I'll have to kill her father to get the key to the next level.
He reads all the instructions on the stone tab and performs the ritual.
Draiken" Ok in done but now how do I make her suck my blood.
He thinks for about 2 hours and remembers back to when his sister used to read him fairytale bedtime stories. He then remembers the one about a sleeping beauty who was saved by a handsome prince through a spell breaking kiss.
Draiken" Would that really work ? Damnit I've waisted enough time already maybe if I just try it, it will work. I mean I have nothing to lose after all.
He glances at her for a moment and goes for it, he kisses her passionately and for a moment he gets lost in the kiss. Out of nowhere his Vitality starts to be depleted and his HP starts to drop and before his HP reaches 0 he pulls away at just the right time.
Draiken" What the hell was that, she almost sucked me dry.
Before long she wakes up.
Isabella" What happened.
Draiken" Aww hey you were trapped in a deep sleep and I had to kiss you, just to wake you up.
Isabella" You had to kiss me. WHATTTTTTT YOU KISSED ME, I'VE NEVER EVEN KISSED BEFORE AND YOU JUST TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME AND MY VULNERABILITY I'M GONNA TELL MY FATHER AND HE'S GONNA KILL YOU.
Draiken" You're welcome to do so, infact this was your father's whole idea.
Isabella" WHAT !!! MY FATHER WOULD NEVER DO THAT.
Draiken" Ok then go ask him but first what do those last words on the stone tablet mean.
Isabella" You can read that.
Draiken" Yeah I can only read half of it. Why ?
Isabella" That's the language of our ancestors only Royal Blood Demons can read it. How come you can read it ?
Draiken" I don't really know how to explain it haha. On to important matters what do the last words mean ?
Isabella" They mean who ever uses this ritual to revive another person they will either die due to their Vitality being sucked dry and if that person has any chance of survival their fate and lives will be tied together and will never be broken.
Draiken" WHAT !!! DOES THAT MEAN IF ONE OF THE PEOPLE DIE THE OTHER ALSO FOLLOWS THE SAME FATE ?
Isabella" Yes that's what it says.
Draiken" Damn I'm gonna kill your father.
Isabella" No you can't, why would you want to do that ?
Draiken" Firat because that was the deal I made with him and second because he lied to me and I don't like people who lie to me.
Isabella" What did and how did he lie to you ?
Draiken" Well first he made a deal with me that if I were to save you I would have his life and the second he set me up, if I were to die right now everything would have been good for him, he would have his daughter saved and me killed. The worst thing is he said there were no risks involved and I believed him, so that's why I have to kill him.
Isabella" If that is his fate then I have no objections. I am but your mere servant now, I will obey your every wish.
Draiken" What are you saying.
Isabella" This is the Demon way if you save one of us we will be your loyal servants.
Draiken" Too bad, I'm not in the market for hiring a servant.
Isabella" Master it's not like I have a choice my life is tied to yours now.
Draiken" Ok fine I'll keep you until I find a way to break this curse or bond. But first we need to get out of here.
Isabella" From the looks of it, that lock needs Royal demon blood to open.
Draiken" Well aren't you royalty.
Isabella" Yes I am but I'm not strong e enough to open a gate of that scale, I'll die even before I try. But there is a way.
Draiken" Yes.
Isabella" If you lend me some of your Vitality I might be able to open it.
Draiken" Ok but first let me drink something.
Draiken drinks a little of the Spirit Water from the Temple.
Draiken" Ok you can go ahead.
As though confused he reveals his neck but Isabella goes for his lips. They kiss passionately and again Isabella sucks a little of Draikens Vitality and then becomes powerful.
Draiken" Damn she sucked more then I expected.
Draiken faints
4 HOURS LATER
Isabella" You're awake.
Draiken" What happened ??
Isabella" You fainted after we kissed.
Draiken" Is there a way to stop that Vitality sucking thing when we kiss.
Isabella Yes I can stop it at any time.
Draiken" Aww ok. Did you manage to open the Door ?
Isabella" Yes I did but my father's army is waiting outside to execute you. He even brought another Demon clan Lord to aid him, what are you gonna do.
Draiken" Well that saves me the trouble of fighting through a horde of Demons, now I can just kill them both here. You stay here I'll take care of them.
Isabella cries
Isabella" Do you really have to kill my father ?
Draiken" I don't have a choice, I made a promise to someone that I can never break and if I don't kill him we'll just die in his place.
Isabella" Atleast let me come with you.
Draiken" You can't.
Isabella" WHY ?
Draiken" You'll just slow me down.
Draiken starts going up the stairs and Isabella cries in the inside and screams.
Isabella" MY FATHER WON'T HAVE ANY MERCY ON YOU, HE WILL KILL YOU WITHOUT HESITATION, BUT PLEASE COME BACK TO ME ALIVE.
Draiken thinks to himself" Doesn't her father know that our lives are bound to each other and that if he kills me it's like killing her. Well doesn't matter now, I'll just kill them all before they kill me.
Draiken looks back at isabella and gives her a small grin on his face.
Draiken" I promise I'll come back to you no matter what. Aww and by the way my you can call me Draiken, what's your name ?
Isabella" Isabella Vladimir
Draiken" Wait are you in anyway related to any Vampire clans.
Isabella" Yes. How did you know that ?
Draiken" Just a wild guess, don't overthink it. Well see you when I come back I guess.
Isabella cries as though she had known him her whole life. Through the bond they now have with each other because of the ritual, they now even share each other's memories but bit by bit they unlock these memories due to their strong emotions and feelings that they have developed for each other.
