Solitude in the Shadows

Coral: She likes scented candles and astronomy. For thirteen years, four thousand seven hundred forty-five nights, she has been sneaking out of the house and going past the forbidden forest to go to her only sanctuary - Shadow Street. Ignored and shunned in her own world, Coral struggles to accept her personality while keeping her fingers crossed. Pete: He hates the sunlight and human contact. However, he keeps on noticing the same girl every night coming to visit where he lives. Instead of getting suspicious, he tries to make friends with her. When Coral's visits become more and more frequent, the both of them form an inseparable friendship that helps them accept their identities and find hope in each other. But Pete keeps a horrifying secret about himself that will cause mends to be broken and their lives in danger.
