Chapter 4 Fear

The man in white then knocked me unconscious. I had a nightmare. My family was laughing and reaching out to me. Then everything changed; thick blood oozed out of their bodies.

I could smell it; dark blood, gunpowder and the sickly sweet smell of death. I wanted to go, but I laid down beside Eliza, coating myself with her blood. The light scent of her lily perfume tickled my nose, but that was her scent and nobody else's. Lill stood up and tried to grab me. She squeezed neck like she would die if she let go. Then all went dark again.

When I was starting to wake up I could hear two men talking. I was laying on the floor, but my hands and feet were bound. They were arguing and saying something about a compound. "What's a compound?" I asked. They turned around and looked at me.

" You will see. You may call me K."

He turned back and continued the discussion with his partner. Later I would learn he was called Hawk.

This began my adventure.
