53 Chapter 52.

Unknown POV. Big bad guy.

Deep in the forest near Zach's forward operating base laid a camp. Camouflaged by the trees and other high-tech equipment that kept them thoroughly hidden from the enemy, which in this case meant Zach's team.

"Boss we are good to go. All devices are ready for activation." A man wearing all black with a skull mask covering his face said.

"Good Prepare to engage. I don't care what it takes, kill them all." A man sitting atop a golden throne said with authority and vigor.

"By your will Sir." the man covered head to toe said, a minute later he vanished as if he wasn't even there.

Almost as if he was a ghost. But in actual fact he to just like Steve had a movement technique that was kept secret from everyone else.

The man on the throne sat still staring at the wall, behind that wall led to Zach's forward operating base, his F.O.B. He was staring with an intense hatred in his eyes. Completely undetectable by everyone else.

For some odd reason he had a deep-seated hatred towards Zach's squad. Will it reach its climax soon, or will it continue on for the future.

Later on, into the night, men clad in all black from head to toe made their way onto the encampment.

Guns drawn and ready to kill.

"Sir we are in position, ready to strike." The leader of the assailants said over their secure comm channel.

"Strike when the opportunity suggests it comrades for the night is ours."

"Roger that sir." With that the radio call was ended and the attack began.

"Move out kill anyone and everyone. No survivors."

Zach and his team were pleasantly asleep, not at all prepared for what was coming their way.

Zach's POV.

I don't know what made me stir in my sleep, but I was so clad that my body wanted to wake up super early on its own. If it was even a minute or two later, the number of bodies would probably have doubled.

"Mhm fuck what is that smell." I said as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

Ever so quietly I could hear the sound of a metal knife stabbing through skin and the muffled moans of my dying comrades. It hit me like a truck, we were being attacked and for whatever reason everyone was still asleep.

I jumped out of my cot, still in my pajamas I grabbed my guns from their storage locker. My next job would be to wake everyone up, so they didn't needlessly die in their sleep.

I moved swiftly and quietly to each of their cots shaking them in order to wake them up. Once that was done and they were all awake i moved to the entrance to our tent were shadows scurried about.

My sidearm was in the air, aimed and ready to take the shot. Just before I pulled then trigger my comrades pulled themselves from their slumber and awoke to the sight of me firing and killing a shadow through the tent fabric.

The shot alerted them, and they immediately got ready to fight. My family knew me, they knew that the only way I would be firing at something in the middle of the night was if it was an enemy.

Their sidearms were soon locked and loaded, they were dressed as well.

It was time to go onto the offensive.
