After we had both calmed down, Katherine and I decided to head back to the pack house. We needed to regroup and come up with a new plan. We couldn't afford to waste any more time.

As we drove back, I noticed that Katherine was unusually focused. She kept looking at her phone, scrolling through some maps and articles.

"Hey, Katherine," I said softly, trying to get her attention. "What are you doing?"

She looked at me and gave me a determined smile. "I'm trying to find a clue, Christian," she said confidently. "A clue that will lead us to Trisha and the vampire hiding base."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "You are?" I asked.
