1 Prologue

'I see…. After all this time…. That was your only intention no matter what…. It was bound to happen, yet I was a fool who acted blind and decided to believe on what I want to believe…. It's all clear to me now….' I told myself in my thoughts as my vision starts to get blurry while tears formed from my eyes.

'But why…. Why were you there…. Why me…. Why of all people…. You were there…. I'm sure it was you…. But why….'.

Bit by bit, I can no longer feel my body, yet I was still conscious.

"We need a stretcher here ASAP!!!".

"MEDIC!! MEDIC!!!".

"Please hold on!"

"Keep fighting!"

"You promised!"

"Don't you dare give up!"

'It's so noisy but why can't I hear my own voice when I call out to them…. What's happening…. Who are they referring to…. What do they mean…. Did someone got hurt…. I don't understand….'

Despite all the noise I was hearing. For some reason, I knew you were there. I felt you were there. I knew you wouldn't hear me, but I still called for you.

"Morte…."

And to my surprise, you answered back.
