1 Prologue

Every girl kind of dreams of a fairytale wedding. But I never did, in fact I loathe the idea of getting married.

"Xiao Dan, sit straight and close your eyes."

But look at me now…

"Xiao Dan, you have every right to be angry with me. If not for me, you wouldn't have to marry Mr. Yu. You know Ahn Qi is quite young to get married…" She sighed.

I froze. "Mama did you forget what you had promised me? Ahn Qi should never come across this life. And she's just 18." I pinch the bridge of my nose.

Suddenly someone knocks the door. "Li Xiao Dan are you ready yet?" The person doesn't wait for my reply and enters inside. "You seem to be ready, it's time. The guests are waiting." "Yes Mr. Yu, Xiao Dan just finished her make up." My step mother prompted.

"If you are so obsessed with Ahn Qi's marriage, get him a decent guy, who can cherish her without knowing her status." I said to my step mom before leaving the room.

I wasn't nervous unlike before. Walking down the aisle with Li Xiao Dan was tense though. I could sense her discomfort from her fake smile. "Are you okay?" I whispered to her. "We both know, we don't want to be in a forced marriage situation." She answered. I was taken aback.

Li Xiao Dan had caught my eye from the first day when I chauffeured for her. I have seen her thousands of break ups, passionately making out with other men. The later somehow still makes me jealous to this day. She suddenly winces. Even if I wasn't her first, I'll certainly be her last.

"Oh sorry." I had gripped her wrist too tight.

So, when Lady Wang offered Xiao Dan in exchange of protection, I was already secretly providing. I couldn't fricking resist.

After all Li Xiao Dan, no matter how much you deny. You were meant to be my woman after all. I couldn't help but chuckle.
