Short Chapter #1 (Music and Stuff)

Back at the colony, Tyrian is in the process of being healed by an experienced healer. While he's being healed, his friends are waiting outside the healers house until he's up and running again

(Rayla) "Do you think Tyrian will be okay..."

(Allan) "Yeah, I think he'll be alright. He's to stubborn to die from an attack like that..."

(Rayla) "Well, are you sure? He's got some serious burns from Rin"

(Allan) "I'm sure he's fine... It's not like this is the first time Rin's burnt him to a crisp..."

(Rayla) "..."

(Rayla) "Anyways, where'd Rin run off to anyways?" {Topic change...}

(Allan) "Now that you bring it up... Where did Rin run off to..." {Topic change success}

Rayla and Allan look around for Rin, it takes a couple of minutes, but eventually they find her

Rin can be seen talking to a group of musicians, trying out their instruments one at a time whilst asking questions about them

(Rayla) "So this is where you went. I never thought you where the type that likes music"

(Rin) "Nn... I was just a little curious, that's all..."

The instrument Rin is trying to play right now is the violin. The musician who owns the violin is gladly trying to teach Rin about how to use the instrument. This includes the names of basic notes, how to hold the bow properly, terms like pizzicato and staccato, and many other things... Most of the information just went in one ear and out the other though, and Rin just continued to keep messing around with the instrument whilst trying to figure out some of her favorite tunes

{Meanwhile, back at the healers house}

The healer has just finished healing Tyrian, and is looking around for his group of friends who where waiting outside a little bit ago...

(Healer) "Hello, where'd you guys go?"

(Grey) "*mumble*" 'Over here...'

Grey ended up staying at the healers house to make sure that Tyrian was alright... He also didn't feel like getting dragged around by Rayla and Allan

(Healer) "Could you speak up a bit, I can't hear what your saying?"

(Grey) "*mumble mumble*" 'I'm sorry, I'm not good at talking to people...'

(Healer) "..."

(Healer) "If you don't want to talk, that's okay... I don't know what you encountered in that forest, but it did quite the number on the man laying down in there, just look at those burns" {Points at the unconscious Tyrian}

(Grey) "..."

(Grey) "*mumble...*" 'hey...'

(Healer) "I wonder what type of monster in the forest could have caused something like this?"

(Grey) "*mumble...*" 'you should look behind you...'

(Healer) "I mean... Hey... Why does it feel hotter all of a sudden..."

Rin got bored of messing around with instruments and decided to head back to the healers house, and just happened to overhear the healers conversation.....

(Grey) "*mumble*" 'I'm out...'

Grey runs and takes cover in a spot where he should be safe from Rins wrath... You already know what probably comes after that...

*BOOM*

{Authors Note and Stuff...}

[1: 20k+ reads... That's a big number...]

[2: I'm most likely going to be posting more of these short stories for various reasons. One, they give you guys something to read when I'm unable to release a full chapter. Two, they'll allow me to actually post something when I don't have the time to write a full chapter. And three, they can become lore chapters, stat chapters, and all sorts of other helpful things... And also fun little filler stories that just randomly come to mind throughout the day...]

[3: This chapter may or may not be something I thought up on Friday, which just happened to be an out of town group orchestra competition. My group was a trio, and we played the song eine kleine nachtmusik {An easier version... It's still hard though}... If you look it up I 90% guarantee you'll recognize it... The competition itself was also neat {and tiring...}, and my group scored a 1 {the ratings go 3, 2, 1, star}, so I'm decently glad that worked out well...]

[4: If all goes well... The next full chapter should be out this week]

[5: I've started taking piano lessons as well... This will only help to increase my weeb levels as I play the themes to my favorite anime and video games]

[6: I know what I want to write for the next chapter, but I've got a small case of writers block that's making it more difficult.... Do not fear though, as it'll be over soon, and then I'll be able to write normally again]
